Loved the room, amenities, continental breakfast was great. Walk in shower was an unexpected bonus. Although HWY 99 was just east of hotel, with the windows closed, it was very quiet. Beds were excellent. Although they were in the middle of remodeling including ripping the carpets up, we found it to be a non-issue with us and we appreciated the e-mail advising that the remodeling was in progress, so we were prepared.

Could have been a lot easier to find. One small sign could be seen from the main road if going North. We came in going South and passed it several times. Property sits far off main road so it wasn't easy to locate. Also, there is another Comfort Suites on the same street (Hawthorne). We stopped there first. Very confusing. Also, there needs to be some sort of shelf in the walk-in shower, only place to put soap, shampoo or washcloth was on the floor.

Very nice rooms. Very clean and spacious. Very comfortable couch in the room and the beds were comfortable and clean and lots of nice pillows. The TV was bigger than other hotels we've stayed at and had way more channels so that was really a big plus. Even though the weather is not great right now they have an indoor pool and spa with a gym and sauna. The pool's heated, so that was really nice to get in and get a couple laps in. And the Jacuzzi or spa was wonderful. The staff is very nice and friendly. They also have a wonderful breakfast buffet. A lot of nice food and it was hot. We also appreciated how quiet it was.

Well this was no fault of the staff but they are in the midst of construction so there was a lot of construction materials around the hotel but that did not impede our stay at all. I guess the only negative I would say was because of construction and stuff the Gap under our door let a lot of light in. Not a game changer not enough to make me not want to stay again. Oh one more thing the little coffee pot in there could have used some cleaning. But other than that we definitely would stay at this hotel again. I would recommend.

Breakfast was good nice and hot Mom loved the sausages. Her room was nice and quiet The beds were super comfy. The rooms were very spacious. The swimming pool area looks well kept I didn't try the sauna.. they had a nice container of fresh water and apples in the lobby.. There was also free coffee tea hot cocoa and instant oatmeal available in the lobby at all hours.. Great place.

My room 203 was on the opposite side of the hall and down closer to to the freeway. The design of the heater/ac unit was open to the outside and you could hear the freeway..So I turned on the heater to drown out the freeway noise and after 5 min it started to make a loud grinding noise so I turned it off I meant to tell the staff at check out bt I forgot. I will call and let them know.

Great place to stay with the family. The staff was very friendly and available 24-hrs The hotel facilities were clean. The indoor pool was well stocked with towels. The gym was small but had all of the main equipment. The hot breakfast was a perfect start to each day. Several restaurants were a short drive away, there may have been one restaurant in walking distance. The lobby did have snacks for purchase. Overall, we were very happy with the hotel, it's amenities, and the location.

A convenient, comfortable and quiet location especially for a mobility handicapped person with an included self-service good hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, meat, yogurt, self-cooked waffles, plus juice choices, breakfast cereals, fresh fruits, milk, tea and coffee. I also like the location near an Interstate highway 5 exit at Oregon highway 22. I've stayed at this location many times and it is my preferred lodging location in the Salem, Oregon area. The lodging location is off a parallel road on the west side of Interstate highway 5. For the location of a large variety of nearby restaurants I recommend driving on Oregon highway 22 to the east side of Interstate highway 5 then take the exit onto Lancaster Drive and go northbound to a choice of many restaurants on both sides of Lancaster Drive.

I liked everything about this lodging facility and friendly staff, but the entrance to the driveway needs to be taken slowly since there is a change in elevation from the paved road onto the paved driveway that is higher than a speed bump or speed hump.

This motel in a quiet area near the intersection of Interstate Hwy I-5 & Oregon Hwy 22 is my favorite lodging location when I come to Salem, OR. Access and exit to handicap parking are good with space for taking my walker out and in from the side of my car. The handicap rooms meet ADA requirements with a comfortable bed and a suite section with a sofa & desk for a meeting with a couple of guests. The included breakfast has hot and cold food choices. I found the hot biscuits very delicious, and I liked the self-service waffle makers with a choice of a large waffle or multiple small waffles and a choice of regular batter or chocolate batter. The entire facility staff was very friendly and helpful particularly with the location of the nearest U.S. Post Office, many restaurants and retail stores within a short driving distance. A Dennys restaurant, several street blocks away, was the only restaurant within walking distance.

A bakery, Denny's restaurant, vehicle gasoline station and a Harbor Freight tool store were the only retail locations within several street blocks walking distance, but since my car was in good working order I didn't mind driving a little further than walking distance. I've stayed at nearby motels in the past, but I prefer this Comfort Suites Salem if there is a room available.

The hotel is located in a quiet and neat neighborood, in a very weel kept building. the interiors are pleasant and overall cleanliness is good. The staff at reception is friendly and helpful. the family room was pleasant, clean, and comfy, besides the fact that is too small for 5 people.

The size of the family room is not adequate for 5 people (although carrying only cabin sized luggage): it was OK to stay 1 night, otherwise would have been very uncomfortable. The breakfast room is far too smal for such a large hotel, and it felt messy and unconfrotable.

Everything in the room and hotel listing was correct. Furniture was comfortable, fridge, microwave, and coffee all worked. They had hot food for breakfast. Everything was just perfect for a super fast overnight stay in and out of town.

Not necessarily the hotels fault, but there was some kids sports teams staying there, with kids running down the hall well past 10pm and it was super annoying. I would hope there is future discussion on children being accompanied by adults at all times or something.

The rooms we were in were newly remodeled and very nice. Yes construction was going on, but that was not a problem. The workers were great. Also, Light that there were some reasonably priced to grab and go items to purchase to eat.

Need more seating in the dining area. Even if there were just extra chairs that people can pull up to the tables that would be great. Also ran out of cookies on Sunday afternoon. Lol.

The heated pool, the spa, the sauna, and the workout room were all great. It was also nice to have a big roomy bedroom.

There are many very bright security lights, right outside our bedroom window and parked cars that turn ther there they turn their lights off and on. Normally, not a problem, there are sheer curtains, and blackout curtains. But wait, there is a problem, the black out curtains only goes so far, they’re just for looks at each side they don’t go all the way across the window. Room 104 doesn’t need any night lights they just need a complete set of blackout curtains.  Now, for the toilet paper roll. It’s a one armed bandit, and that’s a good thing. However, when you tear off a piece, the role goes flying forward onto the floor. How about putting that toilet paper arm straight up or facing the back.? Just a thought.
