I loved the facilities - the gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms. The bed was super comfortable and the room was a suitable size.

There could have been a mini fridge in the room as I was staying for a whole week and needed to keep things refrigerated. The parking was also an additional charge and because I booked through booking.com, access to the gym wasn't included, so I ended up paying an extra £70 as the parking was £5 per night and the gym was £5 per day. This was disappointing as I had previously called the hotel to check, and they said that access to the gym was included, even through booking.com.

As regular business traveller, I think some rooms need to be addressed with maintenance. A big chip in the bath. The extra family beds that are situated under the main bed were worn and not very clean and the fact that they are on the floor is not hygienically clean. I have worked as an infection control officer. And now with procurements, in a clinical background. In my opinion plastic polyurethane cover, added protection from dust. And elevated off the floor. As a health and safety measure .

Lovely hotel, nice and clean and comfortable. Gym/swimming area was great too.

Not so much didn't like but coffee machine in room didn't work, which isn't a big thing but when it's sold as a perk when being in a club room it's disappointing. Also the booking team called to confirm a couple of days beforehand which was great, and as part of that call i mentioned it was my boyfriends birthday, to which the lady I spoke to said she'd have something nice done for the room on arrival but sadly there wasn't anything. Again not a big thing because I didn't mention it it with the intention of getting anything extra but if you say you're going to do something it sets an expectation, so it was again a little disappointing nothing was done but it is what it is.

Location perfect for daughters appointments in the nearby allergy clinic She loves the swimming pool The lovely lady on reception is so nice, she bought out a soft toy for our daughter, for her wobbly tooth. All the staff are smiling and really attentive *Also ordering food in the restaurant with a daughter who has allergies was really good. (can be a nightmare) lots of communication with kitchen and servers and mad us feel comfortable ordering.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful as were the grill and bar staff The evening meal (Chilli stack burger with chips and onion rings) was superb. The room whilst very worn was clean and the bed comfortable.

The only let down for me was the breakfast. The coffee is very wishy washy from the machine and the cooked element was pretty awful too. Bacon was rock hard, sausages were overcooked / dry so maybe been out too long and the scrambled eggs...the less said the better!

Hello Team , Always a lovely stay and great atmosphere. all staff very accommodating. To me as I have mobility issues. With osteoarthritisas I'm ther often on business and leasure and also . have family in the area. Lovely bar and food. breakfast is good value for money and a huge plus for the leisure centre a swim after a long day .is well need .thanks guys .see you all shortly jo .p x

How ever some of the bed rooms need a attention broken bed side lamp but still in use standing lamp not working the shower was not warm although ther was a sign saying vey hot water. I have mentioned to reception and have taken note .. hasn't put me off .

From walking in the gentleman on reception helped us check in he was extremely helpful . After checking in we went to our room. This is our 1st stay at Village Hotel. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable,huge tv , absolutely everything was just perfect. The cocktails were really delicious and my partner had breakfast with so much choice from continental to full English teas, coffees, juices everything you need to start your day right. I will definitely be returning and will become a regular of this chain of hotel.

Really clean and looks really welcoming. Swimming pool was lovely and the Shauna , steam room was out of use. Bedroom was clean and tidy with a lovely rainfall shower

I didn’t like the bed was a bit hard struggled to sleep .. also the receptionist was not very friendly I was away with a friend for Valentine , the bar had closed and they stated we could sit in the lobby .. the receptionist told us to be shut up .. sorry but it is my weekend away to enjoy not be told to shut up .. was not impressed

The staff were super friendly. Check in and check out is so simple and easy. We had breakfast included which was a huge bonus. The bar had huge screen for sports and also had cinema style seating which was fun. Parking was also included in our stay which was brilliant. Breakfast was very tasty and a great variety. The room was large and the bed was really soft and comfy. Shower was nice and hot too

My daughter and I had a great stay, and the staff were lovely. I loved the huge Christmas tree in the entrance, the large room, the drench shower head, the black out curtains and the soft pillows. We also had great service in the offer of fresh towels on the first morning and lovely reception staff who were v efficient. We also had a superb celebration dinner at the hotel in the evening for all the Channel swimmers. We were very well looked after and the food was delicious.
