A lovely country house. Room was clean and comfortable. Ideal location for a visit to London. Train and tube station nearby so only 15-20 minutes to get to Euston. Evening meal in the restaurant was excellent.

Like the period look.

The garden property was a bit neglected and the insecure front door as well as the broken window frame in my room left me a bit aghast- meaning a burglar would have a field day. Needs attention!!!

Beautifully situated within amazing gardens and woodland Hidden gem Staff exceptional Conveniently locationed close to Central London with the trains and buses being regular Clean and comfortable accommodation with everything you need. Ie: hairdryer, coffee. tea making facilities ,bathroom toiletries Comfy bed! Food available to buy . Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We had some lunch.... the chicken and beefburgers were absolutely amazing. I thought these were really reasonably priced for what you got. You have options to either stay in the main house or another area slightly down from it. Both boasting beautiful views

Nothing at all The only suggestion would be is maybe some sort of light about the coffee and tea making facilities. But unsure if this would be possible now.... but we managed ok.

The professionalism, kindness & care received from staff. I arrived extra early at around 8 am due to a bad experience and the need to leave my prior accommodation. On arrival at Grims Dyke Hotel, I asked if I could leave my bag at reception until it was time to check in at 3 pm. The lovely receptionists phoned room service and asked that a room be prioritised and made up and I was invited to have a coffee whilst I waited. I asked if I could order breakfast as I was starving because I had been too scared to leave my room in the prior accommodation. When I arrived at the restaurant, the staff were expecting me, and while I was enjoying breakfast, I was brought my room key. My room was quiet, safe, and soothing. I was able to collect myself and I went for a walk in the neighbouring area for 3 hours. The kindness and care received by the staff meant so much and completely changed my day and my holiday moving forward for the better. Thank you!

There was nothing I didn't like. My stay allowed time to gather myself in a friendly safe environment. I appreciated everything about this beautiful property and the neighboring area.

The location was fabulous, it was easy to find in a tranquil location the staff were friendly and helpful

When booking, I booked a disabled access room, although the room itself was great, access into the hotel itself was difficult the level entry at the rear was down a gravel path which had to be traveled several times as the only toilet was the opposite end of the hotel, access to the toilet was difficult but not impossible for me but no access for a wheelchair user. We were at the hotel for a funeral function and was disappointed to discover the function room was upstairs and no lift, even if I did get upstairs the toilets were on a sub level between the ground floor and first floor. I don't wish to be a moaner but if I was aware of the difficult access I wouldn't have endured the costs and difficulty in travelling to find i couldn't partake in the wake after the funeral

We’ve stayed here many times and love it! The staff are all lovely and so helpful. The breakfasts are fantastic and the customer service is excellent. I will however say that the rest of the menu is limited for vegans and vegetarians. We stayed in a garden room with a balcony and it was very nice. However, the carpet had lots of marks all over it and the side of the bed looked grubby but had a cover on it. The furniture on the balcony wasn’t at all comfortable and we were linked to other people’s balconies which was a bit odd. This meant we could hear people outside in the night which was unnerving and we could also smell their cigarette smoke too, which was not very nice. We stayed for two nights and were only given two toilet rolls. The shower pressure was terrible and the angle of the shower meant that it was very hard to actually get water on your body. Lastly, the shower curtain was in the way and kept sticking to us. It would have been much better to use a shower door. We did have a great time though and will definitely be back!

Location is nice. Staff are nice. The grounds of the hotel is nice. It’s quite. Beds are not bad. Staff are lovely hotel knew we were bringing a dog they put out a dog bed and bowl and the staff even gave him a treat. There was an event going on and there were so many people but the staff made sure we were also looked after. One of them got annoyed when he was talking our order at the bar but came and apologised as he was short staffed for awhile. The rooms are nice and clean . Overall the hotel is nice

The food is pricey and is okay but can be more better flavour some bits are very bland. The Rooms need to be updated. Our heater was not working. Bathroom was very narrow. Needs more vegan snacks and vegan biscuits and milk in room. But all this can be improved.

Beautiful hotel in its own grounds. Staff were very friendly and the room was very clean and had good facilities. It's 5.5miles from Wembley and cost £20 in an uber to the stadium.

It's quite remote so public transport is not really suitable as there's a long road to the property from the main road l, and its through a wooded area, so as 2 female travellers, I wasn't comfortable walking from the bus stop. However we were able to get an Uber taxi easily to take us to Harrow and Wealdstone train station.

This a very unexpected gem of a hotel. The staff was extremely helpful, the facilities, despite being dated and in need of some tlc, we're very comfortable. The building has interesting historical connections, which was an unexpected surprise.

The were not lifts and getting to the rooms was a bit of a maze, plus you had to go through a function room, which had wedding preparations. The shower pressure was appalling!! Breakfast had to be pre-booked and if you didn't you could lose out.

Lovely period property surrounded by well curated gardens and with direct access to walks into the forest. The hotel is dog friendly and it is a small oasis of peace in north london with easy access to amenities and connections to the city center. The breakfast restaurant room and bar are beautiful and so are the gardens. I was in the garden lodge room, it was very comfortable and clean, I travel with my two small dogs and I am pleased I have found this hotel, very peaceful and convenient, I will return often.

Dog friendly. The gardens. The period house. Nice tea and coffee selection in the room.
