Great host , very helpful with everything and made great suggestions for activities and food. Quiet/safe neighborhood, very clean and spacious rooms and if you are a Harry Potter fan you will definitely love the detail the owner put into decorating the rooms . We are a family of 4 and the room was just perfect if you are ok with everyone sharing one spacious rooms. It is a 5-7 min walk from watford train station and from there about 30 mins to wembley or 50 mins to London . Watford center is also beautiful, a 5 min drive and has many restaurants and shops

Everything was great. Value for money! If it was a little closer to London it would have been perfect ! Nevertheless you can take bus 724 from Heathrow airport and get to the accommodation in an hour with less than 5£ and it stops almost outside the accommodation.

The Location was only 10min walk to Watford Tube station. Food was excellent the selection for a continental breakfast was so nice. Excellent staff and friendly, Sam and Marek are so nice. Sam even brought my Wife a small bottle of wine, he initially offered a bottle of red, as she doesn’t drink red wine he went looking for a bottle of white. The extra touches were excellent we were made feel so welcome and home. The room we had was made out in Harry Porter theme. It was really big, comfortable for 4 adults. It was ideal for a family with small kids who love Harry porter.

Good location in safe neighbourhood, 5-10 minutes walk from Watford Underground station, 25-30 minutes from Watford Junction. Very close to lovely Cassiobury Park, about 1 hour walk to Warner Bros Harry Potter Tour (but you can also take free bus from Watford Junction if you have ticket for tour). Room very spacious and cozy with the most comfortable bed in any hotel I've ever been to. Staff friendly (only contacted through Booking, no problem with late check-in). Breakfast was basic, but with good quality ingredients.

Lovely property overall but we were in the Harry Potter themed room which was extra special with lots of added touches! Dining room and other guest areas very clean and welcoming. The property is in a great location just a short walk from Cassiobury Park, centre of Watford and both train and tube lines. When we arrived we were greeted by Marek the Manager who couldn’t have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful providing us with all we may need to know on arrival and going the extra mile to help. (We’d had car trouble on our long journey and he recommended someone at a local garage we could try.) We would definitely stay again and happily recommend Ricky Road to friends & family.

Marek who manages the hotel was very helpful and kind and made us feel at home. The guesthouse was easy to locate. We drove but some of the party came on the train from Manchester. Great location to reach harry potter studios. The free shuttle bus is handy if youre happy to wallk a mile. to the pick up point. We were in the car so could drive and park for free at the studio. Back to the rooms, we had superior suite and there was plenty of room for 2 parents and 2 children to sleep. There was an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, coffee machine with bottles of water left for us and coffee capsules. Beds were very comfy. Lovely shower, inc shampoo, shower gel, plenty of towels. Breakfast was basic (croissants, cereal, bread, fruit, yoghurts, hot and cold drinks, but quality and plenty of it. The only downsides were the floors.are thin and so we heard footsteps in the night that were loud enough to wake us. Also the B&B is situated near a road and the windows aren't well insulated enough to exclude the road noise. That said we still.slept relatively well. There's a nice park about 100m down the road which was handy especially with kids and there are loads of restaurants in the area. Sam the owner was as helpful as marek and sent us loads of suggestions before our stay so we could spend our time wisely enjoying rather than wondering where to go. St albans is reachable on train or car and is a gorgeous place. London is also nearby and best reached by train from Watford, we didn't go but would have if we had stayed more than 3 nights All in all we had a lovely time

Great apartments. Our room had everything we could possibly need. The interior was thought out to the smallest detail. The host Marek is very caring, answered all our questions. He also made sure that our room was decorated for daughter's 16th birthday and even left a small surprise for all family members. The location is ideal for visiting Warner Bros. Studio. 15-20 minutes away from Wadford Junction, there is a free bus that also takes you there and back. Thank you, Marek, for your care, I recommend visiting and you definitely won't be disappointed.🙂

Wonderful apartment, well set out and spacious. Plenty of room for 4. Excellent service from a friendly team at the property and very attentive owner who always responded quickly to any messages and offered help and directions for us while we were there, which was an added bonus and made the weekend so much more relaxing. The property is a short walk from Watford Tube Station which was fantastic and made the travel into London a breeze. We've had a fantastic time and would highly recommend staying here.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Just came back from a WONDERFUL stay at Ricky Road Guest House. Our lovely suite was beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable. A great use of the space and equipped with everything you might need. Marek took great care of us upon arrival and during our stay. If you need restaurant recommendations he is definitely your guy! Sam was readily available through whatsapp to answer any questions or requests we had. A 10 out of 10 for customer service! There is a Tesco supermarket at a 6 minute easy walk for any essentials you might need. My son and I had an amazing time visiting Warner Bros Studios "The Making of Harry Potter" and all the wonders Central London has to offer. Both (and Luton airport) can be easily reached by public transportation and/or Uber.

Marek was so friendly upon arrival, explained everything and we were lucky enough to get a free upgrade due to a cancellation so ended up with a gorgeous studio room. The room was lovely, breakfast was simple but effective (& they had GF granola which I was not expecting but was grateful for!), parking was safe and off road and the location is perfect both for Harry Potter studios and travelling into London on the train. We could not have asked for a better stay and will definitely return in the future & recommend 110%!

We rented the theme apartment and it was outstanding. This really completed the experience with our visit to Harry Potter studio tour, practically living in a room having all the details at place. We met the most wonderful host who really knew the area and had done his research about everything we needed (and did not know we needed) to know. We felt really appreciated and welcomed. We will come back for sure.

It’s hard to say anything negative about this place.
