My room was lovely and I appreciated a bath, not just a shower although the ventilation in the bathroom wasn’t working. All the staff were friendly and helpful particularly Vlad in the restaurant who was kind and helpful with my niece’s four small children. Very comfortable public areas to sit and meet with friends and a handy location.

Housekeeping. I stayed 3 nights. The bins weren’t emptied on the first day, there was a large clump of hair in the bath plug hole and my bed wasn’t made up on the second day because, according to the Housekeeping Manager “staff are told not to make up the bed if there is anything on it as there have been problems with laptops being moved”. I have never heard anything so ridiculous as on my bed was simply my nightwear. Added to that, the tea/coffee box wasn’t replenished on either day. Only small things but a shame as everything else was good.

We went for an overnight for my son’s birthday as a surprise to go see the Doctor who exhibition. I put a note when I booked that it was my son’s birthday. The staff very kindly put a balloon and some snacks in our room for his. Lovely touch. He was also allowed to feed the ducks that are outside the hotel which was a bonus as he is obsessed with ducks!! Special shout out Charlie who was on reception for doing an amazing job and making my son feel super special. The pool and steam was fab too! Rooms are super comfortable with decent pillows! Best hotel experience in a while!

Rooms are a good size with huge windows, AC worked perfectly, Staff are excellent, especially the lady in charge of the breakfast area, she does the layout to perfection every time.

We really could have done with a fridge in the room as we were staying for 3 days, TV was out of action in the public areas so had to get cabs to town to watch the football & rugby which was a shame and an expense we could do without.

Stayed at the hotel a lot and have returned on multiple times whilst my partner is visiting from the US. (I live in Peterborough but don’t have much room at home!) the staff are always super friendly and accommodating - love the bar staff too, make the best passionfruit martinis!

The hotel has introduced a car parking fee of £15 a day since the last time i stayed (Christmas 2024) which adds up when you’re there for several days! I did think it was a little cheeky just as there is nothing really to do in the area (asides a pub and Nene Park) and unless you want a long walk, the hotel is not walking distance to Peterborough city centre. I understand a fee for hotels actually located in Peterborough town where everything is less than a 5-10 min walk, but i did think it was a bit much for the location, and it has unfortunately potentially swayed me from staying there again - as i could stay right in Peterborough town for the same price

The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was very effective. The pool and jacuzzi were good.

The bathroom is in need of attention. Rusting and mildew in places. We ate in the restaurant and some items marked as gluten free are obviously not. The staff also admitted that the fries are cooked in the same oil as items containing gluten. The prices in the restaurant and bar are high.

The staff both at reception and in the restaurant at breakfast we're really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great too.

The room had a brown stain on the back of the bathroom door which looked decidedly unpleasant (room 129), and the bathroom flooded as the seal between the shower door and shower over the bath leaked. I was also really disappointed with the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room. There were no teabags at all and not enough milk to last 2 nights as you always need 2 if those sachets per drink. These are basic requirements for any traveller so not providing these is cost cutting gone mad.

Staff were welcoming and polite. There was an issue when travelling up where central reservations told us the booking had been cancelled. They put us through to the actual hotel, who were reassuring our room was still booked. When we checked in, we had been upgraded and had access to the mini bar. The room was spotless and comfortable, and we were able to check out late as signed up to their loyalty scheme. Breakfast was good and fresh, and we enjoyed it. We were able to use facilities and enjoyed a morning swim. The standard of cleanliness was high. We enjoyed our stay, and when we go back to visit family, we will use this hotel again.

Very conveniently located hotel, just outside Peterborough. Good size rooms, very comfortable beds, decent bathrooms with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and nice body lotion (only the shower head could have been nicer). Great breakfast with loads of choice. Dinner was very enjoyable with good selection, and very appreciated that one can reserve a table anytime for the half board meal. Good gym facilities and nice studio. The staff is extremely friendly and approachable. Recommended

You need a car to reach the hotel and the £15 a day, well explained online, still feels a bit unnecessary. The swimming pool and the changing room especially don’t feel up to the rest of the hotel standard. We had half board and had £45 to spend every day (excluded drinks). However, there seemed to be a bit of confusion between when one can use the daily food allowance (all in one at dinner or for other snacks throughout the day too).

Comfy, quiet room in pleasant near-to- woodland setting. Friendly reception staff and other guests. Nice large, modern reception area and plenty of parking. Pleasantly surprised with Peterborough city centre in evening with plenty of venues for eating out and, likewise, restaurant in hotel also seemed well-used and welcoming.

The hotel was pleasant and the staff friendly. Using the gym ,Spa and pool was very small but it was very relaxing. The tall gentleman was a little unfriendly but the other staff later was more helpful. Breakfast was a great selection of choices.

Our room was fine apart from the shower which is dated. Mixer tap was hard to regulate and this meant that the temperature of the water wasn’t quite right. Also shower head too small. We also was surprised at the cost of parking our car was £15 per day. Staying at any hotel should offer free parking which is the case at other hotels .
