The location is good, very close to the metro station, I like the neighborhood, but it might not be for everyone. It's clean enough and it has many features to make your stay comfortable. It has shower gel, shampoo, lotion, sanitary bag, many other bathroom accessories - no toothbrush though 🙈 The bed is comfy, the breakfast is good.

Well the staff was a bit annoying. Every morning there was a problem with breakfast: - We took a croissant with us which we couldn't finish - "sorry, no takeaway, only tea" - Next morning we took tea - "sorry you can't take the cups out" - Next morning we brought the cups from the room with us - "sorry, you can't take it out, you have to drink here" I'd say, that if the staff had been a bit kinder, the experience would have been much nicer.

My room was very clean & the whole building was very clean. But was disappointed with the breakfast. Bread & croissant was stale. They need more choices . Coffee taste very bad. Staff was wonderful in the restaurant especially the 2 young lady . & the bell boy was also very helpful & polite. ( Abdullah ) receptionist was also very polite & helpful But i was puzzled with my bill . I had book on line & when i got there i was charged more . He try explaining but didn't make any sense. Location was very convenient. Shopping area & lots off restaurants close by. I would stay there again & I recommend anyone to stay there. Thank you to all the staff .

Breakfast needed improvement .

This hotel is amazing! Location is great! (Close to the airport and Gold Souk.) Rooms are sound proof - you cannot hear anyone next door. Staff is so friendly and helpful, for whatever you need help with. Ladies at reception were so nice, we arrived early in the morning and they allowed us to check in before 2pm. In the second floor, Mr. Vijay (housecleaning staff) every day made our rooms (207 and 217) so clean and tidy, every day he left us 2 bottles of water in the room. Food in the restaurant was so delicious, chef was making us fresh eggs by our choice every day, there was a lot of food choices you can choose among (yummy brioche, humus and much more). The restaurant staff was also so nice and kind. I highly recommend this hotel! If you need electricity adapters to charge your phone, ask at the reception, they will borrow you. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Everything was amazing! I just recommend housekeeping/house maintenance to check the sink and glass on the bathtub so the water doesn't leek on the floor (in 217).

Location is perfect as located near to train station. We highly recommend people to use this Avenue Hotel.

Excellent location and accomodating staff starting from the receptionist ( Elmer and others)and security guards. Upon arrival I was upgraded to a very good room. The restaurant serving morning breakfast has variety of meals to choose and the special hot meal specially prepared by the Indian chef ( I forgot his name) is superb. He knows exactly what I really want for my one week stay. The fast service of the restaurant crews are very good.

The room is not regularly cleaned and once I arrived from my daily itinerary the same mess I left. I need to inform the receptionist about room cleaning. There is also a need for microwave in the room to complement coffee or tea making.

The hotel overall is very good, with a reasonable price and a very location, especially for those who enjoy lively areas. The cleanliness is good, the break fast is good also and the staff is cooperative and helpful.

However, there are a few notes to consider. While the cleanliness is generally good, the floor in the room is difficult to walk on without shoes, as your feet would get dirty. The bathroom is clean, but if the ventilation isn't turned on constantly, unpleasant odors may appear. The air fresheners used for cleaning are more like Indian-style, which may not be to everyone’s taste. The breakfast was good, and the hotel is located in a lively, popular area with plenty of restaurants and shopping places nearby.

It was an excellent experience. Friendly staff, good service, tasty food, awesome breakfast, reasonable price . . . BUT!! what made our stay in Avenue hotel unforgettable, was what the cleaner man of the 7th floor (his name was Vijay if I'm not mistaken) did for us. My wife and I got compleately surprised when we came back to our room and saw what he has done! For minutes we were unable to move! I'll attach the picture for you to see. But honestly, I was thinking maybe it's better if we sleep on the floor!!!

If you have a car and want to use the parking, please be carefull as you may hit the exit wall!!! Also the refrigerator wasn't working properly. It may need its gas to get recharged.

Check in and check out was very smooth. I arrived early and they got me a room earlier than check-in time when it became available. The porters and/or doormen were very helpful as were the reception staff. Breakfast was ok and good variety and value for money. I liked that they alerted you a few minutes to closing so you could get anything extra you needed from the breakfast buffet. Location was excellent, 3 minutes walk to the metro and bus stops. Easy to find with taxi as well. Room was clean, airy and spacious. The Bathroom was comfortable, spacious and with all amenities stated and was cleaned daily

This is not really a deal breaker but TV only had CNN and BBC in English. Though I was out most of the days, it would be good to have some TV entertainment at night. Also, the sockets were not close to the bed so you would have to charge at the desk, away from the bed.
