Location ideal not isolated but quiet. Lovely conversion of former farm house. Extensive grounds to enjoy and easy access to walks. Did not have bkft but evening room service menu good and cooked to order. Hosts so helpful . Easy parking. Very homely feeling

Excellent location. Accessible room for mobility impaired with good-sized bathroom. Hosts jolly, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Bed mattress excellent quality (as was bed sheet). Impressive environmental ethos regarding heating, power & recycling. Individual hot water system for each room. Smart bedside mini fan and clock radio. Informative A4 concise binder of facilities and local amenities etc. Relaxed and calming atmosphere (similarities to rural France; barns, outbuildings, log stores, wildlife etc). Especially liked being able to sit outside on a Summer's evening on edge of the orchard. And to play pooh-sticks from the little bridge over the river!

A suite option might be helpful (then could have a mini-fridge; especially during hot summer/ or if needed for medication). Would have liked adjacent rooms. Seating in room not particularly comfortable. If not watching TV from bed, need to crook neck to see television from seat as TV located very high on wall. Alternative non-caffeine fruit or herb tea in room would have been a nice touch. But excellent to have home-made tasty organic bread on the breakfast menu (and alternative teas) and home produced delicous apple juice and local honey.

It was in a lovely location. One of the big things for me was the lack of road noise. I have had many nights in other places in the Alton area where my sleep was disturbed. I also liked the power shower.

Glen was an exceptional host, and the other guests were returning visitors of many years (they were also fabulous). The grounds are lovely, the room was very comfortable and warm, despite the freezing and inclement snow weather. Breakfast was lovely and I enjoyed to the whole stay very much.

Friendly owner and peaceful pretty location. The bed was super comfy and the room was exceptionally clean. In UK on business, I would have stayed longer if there was availability.

Lovely location, comfortable room and helpful on site owners. Outside covered seating area, great in summer. Rooms serviced each day. Light meals available in the evening, delicious bacon sandwiches! Homemade bread.

It would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room. However the owner was very helpful in putting my special milk in its own fridge.

Glenn is a marvellous and very hospitable host at this lovely B&B, which is in a peaceful location with relaxing local walks and very friendly local people. An ideal base for visiting the local area and would definitely book for a return visit. Thanks folks.

The Breakfast was amazing, first time staying at a family-orientated stay. The local knowledge was great, the host was exceptional with the people that stay there. Nice and Friendly, so highly recommended to anyone who wants a nice getaway from a busy life

Pillows were pathetic Black mould in places at the bottom of the shower

Situated in a quiet and peacful rural location, the farmhouse mini-hotel offers tranquility, first class hospitality and excellent meals cooked to order. If you should arrive by train, as I did, the hotel is 20 minutes easy walk along the flat.
