My friend and I stayed at the hotel for a night. We had a large room with a comfortable bed. The TV only has a few channels and doesn’t have Netflix. The view was over the car park. Very standard. The staff were really lovely and accommodating. The spa was £20 for two hours. It had a steam room, a sauna and a Jacuzzi. Some heated beds. I felt it was expensive for what was there. We had a walk around the lake which is opposite at the hotel, which was beautiful. And there are some restaurants about 9-10 minutes drive away. There is an option for breakfast for £14-£16. We didn’t have breakfast. There is lots of option of food in the restaurant and also can be served in the bedroom. Overall, it was a nice day and I would recommend if you needed a hotel in the area.

Our Garden Room was excellent, it really assisted my partner who has a health issue with it being on a ground floor. Every member of staff we came into contact with were helpful, polite and respectful this included reception, house keeping, waiting staff and maintenance. The food was very good, a great choice at breakfast with a full hot or cold menu. We had 3 evening meals and again a really good choice on the menu to suit most people, and for the size and type of hotel the menu was reasonably priced in my opinion. The room was spotless, everything worked as it should, it was serviced each day…..well done to housekeeping! WI-FI worked well, although the O2 phone signal was not so good with the hotel being quite remote, (that’s nothing to do with the hotel) The garden and grounds were well manicured and kept in a very clean and tidy state. The location and view next to Frensham Great Pond is superb and very relaxing, just a pity the weather was not so good!! We will certainly revisit if we need accommodation in that area.

The room had plenty of space, the bed was very comfortable. The duvet though warm enough isn't quite wide enough for the width of the bed. Good parking and although I didn't use it, the gymnasium is a nice option. The staff are excellent. The location on Frensham Great Pond is very good and plenty of walks available on the doorstep.

Surprised that the toilet in the room didn't have a soft close lid. Although fine for me, my wife found the bath towels too big and awkward to use, perhaps there could be an option to choose smaller ones. For a four star hotel, some of the decor was a little tired, e.g. scuffed wallpaper, worn carpet in places.

location is perfect. Free and good car parking area. Food, drinks and Breakfast was great. Well done master chef and bar men.

1. One (day waiter of the day) has no politeness, he talked as nearly rude. No respect no greeting. No smile nothing at all. He looks, we been there for kind of distrubing to him or less reasin.. (evening and morning stafs were excellent. ) 2. We arrived at 1430hrs but 3. The hotel´s rooms were looks not fully occupied although he said wait till 1515hrs. 4. Not as described as on website. NO HOT TUBE. They said it was broken. thanks

Although a continental breakfast was shown on the web site it was not available at the hotel. The only option was a full English breakfast at £16.95pp. As we did not want a cooked option we did not want to pay £16.95 when we would only be eating cold choices. Disappointing. The location is excellent. The hotel is down a small country lane next to a very attractive large pond and it is very quiet area. The staff are all pleasant, polite and attentive.

We had to go out of the hotel and drive to find an alternative breakfast.

A lovely location, right next to Frensham Ponds. My room was large and the bed was very comfortable. A nice bathroom with a quality shower and lovely complimentary toiletries. The room was also very quiet, which was great. Breakfast is buffet style but offers a large selection of continental style items, cereals, fruit etc as well as a hot english breakfast selection. There is a free well-equipped gym available too. There is also a spa on site should you want some extra pampering. The staff were friendly and helpfuI, the food was nice, the room was clean and I couldn't ask for anything more. I can't fault the hotel at all and would defintely return.

The only minor criticism was the main stairs carpet is starting to look a little worn in places - but that's not unsurprising with the amount of walking that goes on up and down it. The hotel did accidentally charge my credit card for the stay after Booking.com had taken the same payment. However, this was rectified quickly and the refund processed immediately by the reception staff. I think it was just a genuine error and the member of staff that dealt with it was apologetic and provided excellent service and reassurance.

Really lovely location, the pond is beautiful nice and chilled hotel not too busy. The girls on Reception were super helpful I didn’t catch their names but two girls and one was training. Food was great, breakfast was great. We got upgraded to a better room which was absolutely huge! Such a lovely hotel will definitely come when the weather is nicer to experience sitting outside in the sunshine by the pond.

When I arrived I had pre ordered strawberries and chocolate x2 which we did no receive, waiting on a refund for that currently. Our TV in our room was not working (not a massive issue as there to relax however in the evening we like to have it on before sleeping) but the girls at reception moved us to a different and better room in the hotel which was amazing. So they were super helpful.

Beautifully located hotel that probably comes into its own in Summer. Very modern bathroom in my room in the single storey annexe.

The room I was given had a very strong smell of a cleaning product when I arrived and when that cleared it smelled stale. I believe the carpet needed a full commercial cleaning or even replacement. I also found the slightly past its prime heating system hard to get working reliably, although I did keep warm.

The staff were so helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and they were super friendly.

We used the restaurant each night of our stay and although the food was OK and nicely presented, I'm guessing a lot of the dishes were pre prepared rather than freshly cooked. This is fine for a hotel of this price point but if it would make a difference I would say have fewer items on the menu and try upping the standard of those. But this is feedback, not a complaint.

staff were always very polite and pleasant. garden room was comfortable and clean, we just needed better weather for sitting out on the patio. :.) the terrace next to the pond is a lovely addition. having free safe parking was a huge bonus.

breakfast could have been hotter. perhaps for the sunday lunch, vegetables presented in a separate dish. the size of the dinner together was overwhelming. not sure we liked the massive Buddha at the entrance the back carpark is next to an unsightly rubbish tip. a shame.
