Again, congratulations for the service, the gorgeous architecture, the perfect location, the flawless amenities, the very tasty and well presented food, everything really... Definitely worth mentioning are the shifts working over Christmas invariably kind and friendly, smiling and very helpful!! A real pleasure to spend some time in the Bush Hotel! We'll definitely be back again soon!!

Ventilation in the bathroom is constant in the room we stayed in this time (which I definitely understand to have no moisture problems in those beautiful, old buildings) but it also was rather noisy.

Excellent location right in the town centre so was great for shopping and coffee shops. Lovely grounds with plenty of parking. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The reception area had an open fire with lovely comfortable chairs to sit and relax with a cup of tea and biscuits. Very clean well run hotel. Had everything in the room needed for a comfortable stay including extra bedding, heater and ironing facilities. Cosy bar that served alcohol, hot drinks and lovely biscuits and cakes from a local patisserie. I wish we had bought more of them. Excellent restaurant that served lovely meals also well run breakfast serving anything you wanted and really quick service. I would definitely go back!

The restaurant and bar areas were a little cold but to their credit there were open fires to sit next to. The rooms were a little on the small side but otherwise well equipped.

Our Room was on the ground floor which had a nice view of the Garden ... On entery to the Room we were very pleased with the outlay/standard of the Room .... Breakfast was excellant alomg with the service by the Staff ..... The Reception Staff were very Polite/Welcoming & went out of her way to help us.

1. Maybe have a Ramp at the Steps to the Entrance/Reception to help ease of access for suitcases. 2. The route from Reception to our Room was quite some distance (especially for the more Senior). 3. Found the corridors leading to our Romm very cold.

Love this hotel, so we'll placed you feel like you r in country due to surrounding and peace but at front of hotel u r in a chic little high street with great boutiques, restaurants and bars. For the Hotel, gluten free option has really increased. Since being a Ceoliac for 3yrs this was best Fish and chips I've had since y dietary change. Its was phonemal. Also waitress Cara was so supportive and always happy to serve, she made our evening. Breakfast next day was outstanding. Just love this place we r aiming to come back next summer. Thk u Bush hotel.

1 thing only Soda water in large bottle was flat. I asked for new bottle with my wine which was much better than my 1st drink. Thk u

Room was very clean and tidy , staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was very good if maybe a little pricey, the same with the bar, well stocked but a bit expensive.

The lighting in the rooms was not really adequate, even with all the lights on it was still a bit gloomy. The one major downfall is that for a hotel of that size there is no lift. If like us your room was on the top floor at the far end it is a route march. In fact after conversations with other guests some had only taken exactly what they needed to their room as it was too far to carry their whole bag.

Facilities good and clean, the hotel has been well updated compared to when it was in previous ownership. Similarly, the cooked breakfasts being cooked to order is a real improvement over the previous owners' breakfast buffet.

Nothing serious, but would be helpful if they consistently had two staff on the reception desk, as one person dealing with both phone queries and people at the desk meant checking out took a little while compared with checking in, when there were two staff on the reception desk.

Lovely room, overlooking beautiful grounds. Obviously a very popular location for weddings as they had two whilst we were there. Breakfast a bit erratic. On the Saturday, full hot and cold buffet so quick. On the Sunday no hot buffet so had to order from kitchen which was quite slow. Short walk from the station. An even shorter walk to the high street, restaurants etc.

No lift. Shower door did not close properly and water did not drain away very quickly. No hot bar snacks after 5pm

Lovely large well equipped room, small but well equipped and relaxing bar, friendly helpful staff, great breakfast (recommend the eggs benedict).

I ordered a room service item but was then told the price shown on the menu did not include an extra 5 pounds to bring it to the room. Not quibbling about the overall cost but as the item was only available in the room, not in the restaurant, the menu price should have been the total cost to serve it in the room.

I booked the venue for a Birthday meeting and booked a table for dinner with our family guests. From arrival to departure all the staff were extremely friendly , helpful and efficient. The table was beautifully prepared, the food excellent and the service attentive and courteous. The room was spotless and had all the facilities expected (kettle, coffee maker, fridge, Tv etc) The breakfast was outstanding, buffet bar plus special orders. nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We will stay there again.

The hotel is sited on the high street which makes it ideal location for shops, pubs, restaurants etc. Lovely clean room with tea/coffee making facilities and the mini fridge was very handy. Had an amazing breakfast in the garden room with a wide range of options available. Friendly and helpful staff from arrival at reception through to checking out. Terrace and bar on site with free parking for patrons. Lovely gardens surrounding the hotel which make it an ideal place for relaxing in. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a great location.
