Everything great except see below

We would not recommend to come to the hotel with an EV. They have 2 charging stations that are not monitored at all. People put their car there and charge it and leave it for days without moving it when it is fully charged. This was our 3rd stay within 6 months with an EV and always the same. When informing the hotel reception (more than once) they said there is nothing they can do. Does not help if you are running low. We will not rent an EV again when staying at the Aviator.

Friendly efficient service, excellent food and cocktails. The hotel is well maintained and the housekeeping is extremely impressive.

When booking I did request a nice room if possible as it was our wedding anniversary. I only meant the nicest room possible as I had only booked a classic room, I did receive a slightly terse email back stating that I was asking for a free upgrade which wasn’t what I was meaning. In fact you very kindly did upgrade us to a suite was very much appreciated and will certainly make us want to return and probably book the suite another time. It’s only a small thing but it was shame the email was a little accusatory in the first instance.

Restaurant food was excellent...in fact exceptionally good. Also the wine selection was superb with expert advice at hand with a expert Sommelier (Louis in Brasserie was brilliant and looked after us amazingly). The service overall service from check-in to out was genuinely welcoming and accommodating and they team went out of their way to make our stay memorable. I have stayed here a number of times and frankly, it's become my go to when I visit my relatives nearby. That said, it is so good , I would make an exception and deivert to this hotel no matter what business or other travel needs I have in London or the South. ` The view of the airport runway is worth paying the extra 25 GBP as it's great to see the provate jets and VIPs coming and going. I want to congratulate the Aviator for the quality for their service and the selection of their young staff who I suspect will all be the best hoteliers in the business with this experience and training.

Everything was perfect

Immaculately clean & tidy. Smells great too. Food in the one eleven and room service was excellent. Upgraded to an airside skysuite for a few extra touches. View from the room overlooking the runways was great for any aviation buffs. Would definately return.

We upgraded to an airside skysuite. Had to ask for slippers and robes which should be supplied anyway i feel. Also, a small complimentary mini fridge is included but only contains 4 cokes and waters. More choice should be included. Snacks stated as being included but were missing, rang room service about this and they sent up only 1 pack of peanuts. For the price you pay for the suite a pack of peanuts each is not alot to ask for. This didnt spoil our stay but i feel that this is something that needs to addressed when you are staying in the top rated room/suite of a hotel as we've stayed in other suites where all this is already supplied.

The decor is nicely presented, and the views of the airfield and runways are great for aviators or enthusiasts. The dinner was a very high quality.

The breakfast was described as 'superb', but my expectations were not entirely met. I had not expected a buffet breakfast, which made it seemingly very much the same as any other hotel. However, despite being a buffet breakfast choices were 'very good' and different choices of egg (other than the standard buffet scrambled egg) were available by asking - it may have been nicer to have an egg chef visible, providing omelettes etc.

The room was really modern, very attractively laid out, very comfortable, and most importantly clean and smelt clean. Too many hotels have unaired rooms. The bed was comfortable, the free movies a nice touch. The separate bath and shower was perfect and the water had a good pressure and was nice and hot. Food was very good, mostly had room service but really enjoyed staying at the hotel.

The hotel was brilliant so the following is really picky. The bath is large, so great for a tall person, but for a shorter person it needed a bath mat, as virtually impossible for a short person to sit in the bath, could only lie down ( or slide down) . The bath could have used to handles to help getting in and out.

I love staying here. The rooms are amazing! The beds are comfortable. The Bathroom/Shower facilities are fantastic. The Hotel is great. The Staff are exceptional - We had a problem in our room that would have taken a few hours too fix (Valentine's Night, Very Busy Time) so we were asked to just relax in the lounge area and were given complimentary drinks of our choice immediately. Then instead of us waitting they offered to move us immediately to a new room - We were given one of the large Suits on the Top Floor!!! Bloody amazing! I cannot rate this place high enough... The Sky Bar is excellent. The Brasserie Restaurant is fantastic and the Diner is great too. The Staff are exceptional.... nothing is ever a problem!!!

I can honestly say there is nothing to improve!

We booked a king size room but we were upgraded to a suite when we arrived so we were really happy with our suite. The staff are exceptionally friendly and happy to help you with anything. Breakfast was great with lots of hot and cold choices. We ate in the One Eleven bar and we were very happy with the service and the food there. Lots of free parking, with lots of available spaces when we arrived at 5.30pm on a Saturday evening. Air conditioning was controllable in the room and was very much appreciated on a very hot night.

Nothing

Absolutely amazing hotel we stayed in a suit over looking the air strip watching planes take off with none of the noise was amazing. The suit was a very nice size with a tv in the lounge tv at the end of bed and tv in the bathtub, although the tv in the bathroom didn't work on both the occasions we stayed which was disappointing but didnt dampen the stay. The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful

Smokers are allowed to smoke directly at the entrance to the hotel. You have to walk through the smoke haze on entry and exit. Disgusting. A party / convention hotel....so drunk smokers stand outside smoking...talking loudly at night. You can hear them in the room....😕 I paid extra to avoid this on our second visit...we were in a suite on the other side!! The management's failure to address this situation, caused myself extra expense. Staff could do with being more attentive, and considerate.... shouldn't have to ask twice for items ..eg coffee. Nor ask to have plates removed!! It seemed they thought it too much. More staff training required.
