It was a great little place to stay. The room was small but fine for me as all I needed was a bed for the night. The breakfast was bang on. Also the house was in a little street and was really peaceful. A few pubs and takeaways within walking distance. I would advise on eating somewhere else on the way to the b&b though as I struggled being coeliac to get a decent meal although a good little Greek place really did their best for me. The young girl serving was excellent. The breakfast did make up for it though. Any questions I asked were answered pretty quick and I’m a polite full way. Also £69 for a room and breakfast to me is a bargain.

There was two things that I didn’t like. The shower was a little small but I do get that the room was small so obviously a tough one to have a larger shower. There was no headboard on the bed and I’d say that’s it.

Only stumbled on the Colebrooke after the purple chain hotel I normally use was full. This welcoming little B&B is on a quiet residential street only a few minutes drive to the business park/airport. Easy self check in and very accommodating owners with my small requests. The "Duck" room was a small single with ensuite shower and very comfy single bed and desk for doing your emails. The sockets near the desk had USB ports so I could easily charge a number of devices. Shampoo and liquid soap dispensers are provided. You get the usual tea and coffee but complimentary biscuits was a nice touch. Hairdryer and long length mirror was also handy. I could stick my head our of the sash window and see my car parked out the front too. There's a fan in the room too if needed. Breakfast was very tasty and the lovely staff were happy to customize it where they could. Cereals, breads and preserves all available in addition to the generous cooked breakfast. The stairs are typical of a victorian townhouse but for the price and service I would stay again.

The floorboards creak but it's an old house so what did I expect?

We visited the Colebrook Guest House during a business trip for a professional exhibition in the city and took the opportunity to explore the surrounding countryside, including charming villages and towns. We also enjoyed a convenient 40-minute train ride to London. Dudley and his team were incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast was fresh, warm, and delightful. The service was excellent, the room was spacious and comfortable, though the bathroom was slightly small. We stayed for a week, and this place is highly recommended for anyone seeking a cozy, modest, and homely stay in Farnborough. For those relying on the train, it’s about a 30-minute walk or just a few minutes by car (about 12 Pounds payment for parking near the train), with a 40-minute ride to London Waterloo. The walk to the exhibition center is about 8 minutes.

I was pleased with the vegetarian breakfast options. (Although kippers are no longer on the menu, as stated on Booking.com.) The cleanliness and hygiene were of a high standard. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The Internet worked well in my room. The neighborhood was a safe, quiet residential area. It was easily navigated and public transportation was accessible.

Quite often it was necessary for me to work online in the room. As it was a cool and rainy week, the room got quite chilly. The heating only came on for a couple hours in the evening. I do appreciate that B & Bs are not hotels and guests are not usually expected to remain in their rooms during the daytime hours. I managed to cope by wearing a few layers, so it wasn't a huge inconvenience. A mini fridge would have been useful since I was staying for a week. (Again, I realise there is a difference between B&Bs and hotels, so not a major issue.)

Had a very lovely stay here, short but sweet. Clear instructions were sent a few days before our arrival with postcode, entry codes, room number etc. Parking right outside. The room was lovely and cosy, a little warm but there were instructions on how to turn it down, the WiFi code all written down clearly and was super fast. We had tea, coffee and milk in the room with some very delicious cookies! The beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was really nice also with various options available. The owner was polite and helpful and very knowledgeable of the area. If we are ever in the area again I would definitely consider here.

We had no complaints during our stay.

The guest house is in an ideal location for me, and took me under 10 mins to get there. Clear instructions had been sent to me both by email and text, so I knew my room number and how to get into the property prior to arrival. My room, ideally located on the ground floor was clean and big! Plenty of tea and coffee there, and some nice biscuits......the only dissapointment was that these weren't replaced for my second night :-( They mention on their website that breakfast is important, and they are not kidding. I was first in for breakfast as both days I wanted to be on the road early, and they have a great choice of cereals, bread, jams and marmalades, and a fine menu of cooked options. I had the full breakfast first day....and didnt need to eat again that day I was so full! I asked the second morning, and the ladies kindly tailoured a cooked breakfast for me, still filled me up but was a great start to my day. Add tea or coffee and juices too. I will certainly visit the Colebrook next time I'm visiting the area.

Nothing really!

The professionalism, friendliness and politeness of the staff. The breakfast was delicious, freshly made organic produce and served at the perfect temperature. The rooms were comfy and spacious, clean water/tea/coffee provided, clean bathroom and ironing facilities available.

The location was quite some distance from the train station/town centre but an excellent/frequent intervals local bus service takes one within 4 minutes walking distance to the hotel. Taxi/Uber also within a short call/booking away. The windows would have been better if glazed, as wind was escaping into the room thereby making the heating not as effective as it should be.

Communication before our arrival was excellent and we went straight to our room. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. There was plenty of room to put our clothes. It was nice the room was serviced with cleaned towels and topped up refreshment tray. Breakfast was excellent with good choices.

We did not realise we would be on the second floor with 36 steps to our room.

Beautiful house, lovely features, care has been taken everywhere to make the whole place look its best. Easy to find, easy to gain entry, parking outside, good breakfast, lovely staff, comfortable room, very close to North Camp village

My husband felt duvet was too warm and heavy, but I was comfortable so this may just have been a personal preference, however I did think the mattress sloped inwards a bit so might be worth changing it if it’s a few years old?

the room was very spacious and home-y. The hosts were lovely too, very kind and relaxed as well as helpful sorting things on the phone when I had to book in an additional night on late notice.

It was a shame there was no lactose free/ dairy alternative milks, that said, the Eggs Benedict were fabulous! So not all was lost :) There was also a lot of clonking about in the morning. Not so bad as I am up early anyway, but for a light sleeper this may have been an issue.
