My room was OK.

I receive a discount rate from Booking.com and hope that this lower rate does not translate to the cheapest room in the hotel. This seemed to be the case with this stay, a small room, where the heating did not work, and with the constant noise of a diesel generator outside my window.

It was a very nice hotel. We were suprised how big the hotel grounds were and were sad we didnt really get chance to explore everything the hotel grounds had to offer. Food was great and very reasonable price.

The facilities were great, however there was no fridge or mini fridge in the room, which I find handy due to keeping medication in there. Don't get me wrong, this was not advertised as being included. There was however a couple of large, communal fridges along with water and ice dispenser which was very helpful. I did buy a couple of beers to have in the evening, and kept these in the communal fridge and sadly someone decided to help themselves to one of them without asking, which was a shame, but my own fault I guess for keeping them there.

The room and bathroom were a good size. The food choices at breakfast were excellent. I enjoyed swimming in the pool; having a lane to separate me from the families and kids was a good idea. Property was in a great location; a short walk away from the river walk to Runnymede, The Harvester and the bus which went to Windsor. The hotel is also located close to Toby Carvery. It is ideal for visiting Windsor's attractions as well as Cliveden National Trust. We enjoyed the buffet meal at the hotel on our last night. All staff were friendly, helpful and hard working. Thanks to everyone for making our stay enjoyable and relaxing.

On the Saturday evening people from the wedding party could be heard shouting from our room until just after 12pm.

We were upgraded to a Superior room which was an unexpected surprise. The room was in the historic part of the building, which was delightful, and had all of the amenities we needed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom excellent with a good powerful shower. Coffee, biscuits etc were topped up each day and the whole room was spotless. We had a meal in the a la carte restaurant which was delicious, and the breakfast in the Beaumont was also very good. The breakfast options were extensive and the food was tasty. There was a large business conference going on at the time but it did not interfere with our stay. Once the conference was over lots of families with young children appeared, obviously off to Lego-land and it was lovely to see the kids so excited (and well behaved). We made good use of the wonderful grounds, with so many interesting sculptures, and even bumped into a deer in the wooded area. Some reviewers have mentioned aircraft noise from Heathrow Airport, which is present - but as an aviation enthusiast the sight of the aircraft coming and going was also a bonus. Noise within our room was minimal so was not disturbing. Throughout our stay the staff were smartly dressed, efficient and very friendly. We would certainly stay here again!

The grounds of the estate were beautiful. Well kept and always lots of staff around. Gardeners,cleaners,waiting staff. On arrival it was busy but 4 members of staff to serve. Shown easiest access to our room and car park. The 1705 bar area and courtyard was lovely. Relaxing and comfortable seating areas,lovely lighting on the evenings and staff to take your order outside. We loved our stay and the facilities were great. So much variety for breakfast and large dining area with excellent staff. Bed was super comfy and toiletries smelt amazing. Really clean. We loved our stay! Explored the grounds and all enjoyable. We didn't eat in the restaurant bit the food choice looked delicious. Another bonus was the water filling machines around the hotel as it was 32.°

We stayed in the blue wing ans rooms were quite small but not hotels fault as we could have paid more for a larger suite. Room was,very warm but fan provided.

It is a lovely hotel in many ways with beautiful grounds and good facilities. Room was clean and tidy and a decent size. A few little issues with tv remote etc. but they were dealt with quickly by the staff on duty who were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good although the dining room is quite manic when it is busy with lots of people all at once. Rooms are quite warm in the summer but we were provided with a fan, with it being an older building i guess it would be difficult to retro fit some kind of air conditioning into it. All in all a very good stay.

Nothing really, bar prices are a bit expensive but in line i guess with an area such as Windsor.

-no soap/shampoo in the changing rooms on our first day so that was a bit disappointing on arrival, maybe someone could fill up half way through the day, as the next morning we swam there was soap. - also the floor in men’s changing rooms were very very wet, so a little staff check and mop wouldn’t be a bad idea Otherwise we were very happy and would love to come back again!

Great location for Windsor, good value meal options at the hotel, great food, loved the self service breakfast, lovely outdoor space, helpful and friendly staff with prompt service when we had a problem with our window blind, solved efficiently. Ensuite had a good shower and was a good size.

We were disappointed with the size of the room, minimal space around double bed, had to walk side ways to access side of bed near the window, no room for a medium size suitcase in room. A very busy hotel with lots of functions inside and outdoors , noisy at times late at night, plenty of parking but difficult during functions.

From Check, I was met with what I would call an exceptional concierge named Kingsley. He took the call before I booked the hotel and his mannerism was so impressive I just had to book. I mentioned it was my birthday and was met with chocolates and balloons in my room. My wife and I took a dip in the pool which was lovely and warm and we wanted a relaxing break so opted for dinner in the hotel which was also lovely and all the staff were friendly enough. We had drinks in the bar and took some bubbly to the room, The room was fantastic (2009) and exceeded our expectations the facilities in the room were very good (Iron and board, hair dryer & lovely selection of Tea, coffee and hot chocolate). We do like to book hotels and have surprisingly never tried a De Vere.. If they all have a Kingsley we will be visiting more :)

No Complaints at all...

The hotel and grounds were lovely. Staff were all so lovely and friendly and were always on hand to help. The children had a lovely time and enjoyed their stay which was important to us. The location is amazing.

Parts of it are a little dated and could do with doing up a little. It was very warm and the rooms had no ac. We were provided with fans but they were covered in thick layers of dust. When we asked for another, we received the same. Housekeeping tried to dust it down as they said they had no others but unfortunately couldn't do a good job without dissembling it he said.
