The hotel had free parking, was very clean and had a fresh look about it. The rooms were decorated in an old fashioned manner, but it was tasteful and looked nice. The bathroom was modern and very clean. Breakfast was a choice between Continental and English. I liked the idea of choosing what you would like as there is less waste. You were able to order more items if wanted. The breakfast was nice, bread and Croissant fresh and proper, not tinned fruit salad. Staff members were all very nice and service brilliant.

The room was a bit hot at night. I did not need a duvet.

Although basic the hotel was decorated nicely, and it was clean and fresh. The room was large, nicely decorated and warm, and the bed was sooo comfortable, we both slept all night. It was very quiet considering we were fairly close to an airport and when at the pub heard lots of planes but not on the hotel. The staff were lovely, and gave options for alternative milk. Breakfast was good, no choice of eggs, just scrambled, but it was made in the frying pan and thank god not in the microwave. We went to the Indian restaurant next door for dinner and then over to the pub. Both were great so lots of food options. The town center was a bit of a let down though.

The carpets were clean but very stained and there were marks on the walls in the bedroom from where someone had thrown teabags in the bin. The carpet in the dinning room was very stained, personally, I would have wooden flooring in there not carpet. There was no hairdryer in the room. We only had 3 teabags and 2 coffees but like 30 sugars, although it does say you can order more.

Brilliant! The hotel was lovely and so were the staff. Very accommodating to my needs, they cooked me a vegan breakfast! Fantastic. And the quality greatly exceeded my expectations as it was excellent for such a low price. Lovely room, shower and bath were great as were the complimentary shampoo and soaps. Communication was great between me and the hotel staff, especially when I had to cut my stay short by a night. Highly recommended.

Slept well, as bed was very comfortable and the Hotel very quiet. No noise at all from other guests. All the public spaces in the Hotel were spotlessly clean as was our room. Decor a little tired, but furniture all good quality. Breakfast was included, with choice of Continental or Full English. We have the FE and enjoyed it. Scrambled egg though, was more like chopped omelette! Would stay here again. parking space for each room is monitored by cctv so felt very secure.

The scrambled egg! No non-slip mat in the bath, so worried about slipping when using the over bath shower.

All was good. Bed was soft and comfy (normally I prefer a firm mattress but this was fine) Sufficient electrical sockets in room. Continental breakfast (my option) was nice. Parking fine.

Had a fan but no air con in bedroom. These aren't major issues but just feedback: No biscuits in bedroom. No decaf tea option in bedroom Wall paper has seen better days TV signal had occasional issues (recommend taking a streaming stick etc and headphones if you want to) Lighting could have been better in my room - no central light but main light was set nearer to door. Still highly recommend hotel

Room very clean and had windows which could be opened as not sealed units which is a rare but very welcome feature. Breakfast very nice and well presented. Breakfest room opens onto a garden which is lovely.

Room was very hot and difficult to ventilate (partly my fault as I didn;t see the fan supplied until the next morning).

Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast I cannot fault was excellent and filling. We was in room 4 everything was lovely and clean and tidy bed was comfortable, glazing was excellent and quiet.

The only thing that let the room down was the decor and and up to date draws but did not effect our stay whatsoever.

A nice hotel with very friendly staff. The hotel and the room were super clean. The room was cleaned and the bed made each day. The bed was really comfortable too. A good choice for breakfast to set me up for the working day.

The only small gripe was that there wasn't a light switch by the bedside. Very minor. Otherwise it was just great.

Room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was bright and clean and there were nice toletries supplied. I felt safe in the room as there was an additional security lock on the door. I had the full English cooked breakfast which was nice and there was a choice of drinks and cereals also. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The bedroom carpet could have done with a deep clean as there were stains on it and the bathroom could have done with a little more attention to detail such as cleaning around the door handle.

Very impressed with the comfort of the bed and quality of bed linen. Loads of proper towels - too often they're just not big enough, the Falcon towels are large, soft and plentiful Spotlessly clean Staff are so friendly and helpful Excellent breakfast

Decor a little faded - could do with a refresh Shower pressure poor - needs descaling
