The owners were friendly. They accommodated our request for a downstairs room. There was plenty of parking. The bed was comfortable. The room was well decorated, airy and clean. The cooked breakfast was delicious and the guest house is only a short walk from Banbury Cross. We definitely recommend this property.

Take care when driving into the property as it is on a three way set of traffic lights. The easiest approach is from the south.

- Victorian charm associated with modern comfort - Substantial buffet breakfast; plus, the hostess will cook an omelette to your taste. - Individual parking spot in the back of the property - A short walk away from the center of town. - You get everything a hotel has to offer, except a restaurant (we walked to town for dinner)

- Situated on a big road, so a bit of traffic noise during the day for the front rooms (rooms in the back are fine)

Julie and Armid are lovely, very informative too. My husband and I had a horrendous journey to them, and they checked us in quickly so that we could rest after this. Their guest house is lovely, bed was enormous and very comfortable. The room was very clean, and my husband was very happy that there was a fan in the room.. Breakfast was very good, and nothing was too much trouble.

Nothing not to like

Handy location sub-10 mins walk to the town centre and not much further to the train station. Nice canal walks nearby and lots of shops/restaurants within walking distance but not close enough for it to be noisy.

The only criticism was that the pillows were far too firm/thin for me. I know that’s personal preference but just to feed back it would’ve been nice to have one firm and one soft for choice as two were supplied on each bed anyway. Otherwise everything was great.

Amazing breakfasts cooked by the wonderful hosts got me off to a fantastic start each morning. Free parking was a great addition for us. The hosts were very welcoming. I had to do remote work the day we checked out and they extended my check out as late as they could so I could work from my room but then generously let me l stay in their dining area to do work all day, no extra cost.

We stayed in the Annex, by the exterior door, which got a little loud when lots of guests were passing in and out to their rooms.

The location was a 10 minute walk from shops, restaurants and bars. We had a lovely large bedroom on the front, with a really comfortable bed. Car parking secure. Julie supplied us with a helpful map of Banbury. Cooked breakfast was cooked to perfection and hot.

The bathroom was a little on the small size, but it didn't bother us.

Both Julie and Ayman were very welcoming and helped us out with finding a place to eat and get a drink in the evening and were very attentive from when we got there until we left. Breakfast was very nice and plenty of choice.

There was nothing to fault, one of the nicest guest houses I’ve stayed in and I travel a lot so have stayed in many.

I was greeted at the door and made to feel very welcome. The room was lovely and quiet facing the back of the property. We had a twin room which was clean and tidy, well presented with everything we needed. Our breakfast was cooked fresh and was amazing, really set us up for the day. The fact that the hotel had plenty of parking for all the guests was great and had charging for EV’s

A warm welcome from Ayman and Julie. A good size clean and comfortable room and bathroom. Our room was at the rear of the property with no noise from the road. The breakfast was perfectly cooked and a good size, fresh cafetiere coffee and orange juice. Cereals etc. was also available.

Short stay 2 nights but clean, really well looked after guest house, breakfast cooked to order, our bedroom had a large ensuite with shower and a super king bed which was very comfortable.

Could have done with a few more little milk cartons but not the end of the world.
