We arrived in October. The room was warm as the heaters were on and they stayed on. We had a bath tub with a shower over the bath which was an unexpected luxury. We were on the second floor which meant we had to take our suitcases up the stairs as there is no elevator. There was a hairdryer in the room and tea & coffee making facilities in the room. The bathroom was huge & so to make room for our suitcases we put the chair inside the bathroom which was also convenient for our clothes 😉.

If I had to pick something I would say the only negative thing about the property was no elevator to transport luggage to our rooms but that wasn’t really an issue for us.

It was on the edge of town so there was ample parking (unlike Bradford on Avon itself), and set in lovely grounds with views across the valley. Our room was very spacious, and staff were friendly and helpful. A self-service breakfast is set in a lovely light conservatory - a great start to the day!

This was a birthday present for my husband but due to unforeseen circumstances we had not been able to come in July when it was first booked. By the time we went this weekend this was our 3rd attempt!!! A huge thanks to Natalia who helped sort it all out for us. We stayed in the coach house and were a bit nervous as there was a wedding reception taking place at the hotel as well but we could not hear anything from our room even with the window open. The room was really clean and spacious with a lovely bathroom and shower. We also stayed for an evening meal on the Saturday night and would like to commend Peter, not only was there a wedding but there was also a party of 24 at the same time. Peter made sure that we felt welcome and made sure that even though him and the team were run off their feet he came and checked in on us to make sure everything was ok. The meal itself was delicious and breakfast the next day was good as well, a self service but it still had all that you could want. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel, it was close to Bradford on Avon and other places of interest the perfect location for a respite weekend.

Lots of space. It ticked a bucket list wish of staying in an old country manor/estate. Large bathroom with no bath tub but a large shower. We were on the ground floor. We had two single beds and had a lot of space for our luggage.

We loved everything … perhaps breakfast was a bit expensive 🤷‍♀️

Nice location on the outskirts of Bradford on Avon, handy for the Kennet & Avon canal. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, staff were lovely and the food at breakfast and dinner was great. Fantastic value for money, highly recommended.

Noisy furniture when scraped along the floor and irritating Muzak in the dining room .

Gorgeous old property with a lovely garden and view. Bradford upon Avon is just a step away. Bath 20 minutes.

We went for a wedding and were able to sit outdoors for the Ceremony. Food and service was excellent for the main meal. Staff were very welcoming on arrival and also answered any queries I had about easy access arrangements and also to explain about the location. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and we sat in conservatory type of room with lovely views across the countryside.

We had to rush for the 11.00 checkout as it had been a late night and we were still deciding about the lunch when we all had to quickly pack to free up the rooms!Doors creaked massively every time you had to come back into the room., some drawers were also very rickety and didn't open well, but that doesn't matter for a weekend!!

This location was perfect for travelling to Bath (20 mins), and the surrounding area. The rooms will not be to everyone's taste as they are a little dated but it is an old house, which is in keeping with the decor. We only ate in the mornings and there is a nice variety of food. Continental or cooked (which was hot).

Some areas of the hotel need updating ie hallway carpets. The terrace at the back is nice to sit in, however i would recommend the hotel provide citronella candles. We couldn't sit there long sue to the wasps and bees.
