Nice quiet location. Super friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Excellent breakfasts. One very good dinner. Nice rooms to lounge in. Fabulous gin selection. Whiskies not bad either. Excellent bed, bedding and pillow cases. Decent shower and bath. Toiletries replaced every day. Lots of things to like about Widbrook Grange but it needs money spending on it. See below.

The carpet in the dining room is totally worn out. Carpet in the bedroom had begun to separate at a join. Tired wardrobe and chest of drawers furniture. Sofa a bit grubby. Small line of mould on the shower tray. Needed a knife to lift up bathtub plug.

If you are seeking a quiet and cozy English countryside retreat, this is the perfect place. The rooms are a good size, and the beds are very comfortable. The accommodations are clean, and the bathrooms feature large towels. The property also includes a swimming pool and a small gym. The breakfast offered is delicious, and we enjoyed a lovely dinner one evening. It is conveniently located about a 20-minute drive from Bath and just 5 minutes from a charming town.

The property landscape needs some cleanup, such as weeding and new grass seeds, to enhance its charm.

Quiet location Warm and spacious room Bed was very comfy Room had lighting but also blackout blinds, so we had an excellent & restful sleep TV & internet, plenty of bottled water, kettle etc Pool was very clean, quiet and facilities were clean and easy to use

The bathroom needs some work, signs of repair are obvious, but the room is clean! The door was banging in the wind, so we wedged the heavy bin against it- this needs fixing, I’m not sure if anyone else has reported it? Personally I’d lose the ?door art? - the door propped against the rear door Also the 2 horse pictures to each side of the main picture on the left wall, just looks odd. Maybe frame and hang them as it looks like I’ve done it myself😅🥴

The pool was great, service was nice and pleasant, the venue and deco were very interesting, we loved it overall as a family of three and a dog. Great dog service as well with sausage served for breakfast :-)

One of the curtain was broken hence no complete shade for sleep and we had to wake up earlier than expected. Food restaurant was nice, but desserts were slightly disappointing for dessert lovers.

Everything was so clean and quirky. Loved that it had a swimming pool which we had to ourselves. Staff was lovely. They had a very good selection of non alcoholic gins on top of the alcoholic ones, as someone who doesn't drink I found this really good. We are deffinatly going to be going back again.

Nothing to be honest

Spent a long weekend because attending a wedding on the Sunday. Had to move out of the first room, no fault of Widbrook Grange. They upgraded us and it wasn't even there fault. Only had breakfast for 2 days, which was really good and filling. The were so polite, friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel. Great staff, beautiful and luxurious room with ample courtesy tray and toiletries. Breakfast and afternoon tea highly recommended ( we did not have dinner, but it looked popular). Big feature was the heated indoor pool. We easily visited Bath and Longleat from here, and there are many lovely eateries in Bradford upon Avon.

Very big room, we had plenty of space for us 4 (2 adults and 2 children). Great bathroom too. Beds were comfy and pool was a nice plus. The main building with lodges and restaurant is very cosy. Excellent breakfast. There’s also a nice pub (boathouse) just a short stroll away where you have simple meals near the marina.

Not much, except maybe the basic shower’s temperature which was a bit high

Friendly helpful staff and good location with a charming setting. Breakfast was very good. Bed and bed linens comfy and good quality

Whole place felt a bit neglected and could do with some redecorating. E.g. paintwork on the windows and in the bathroom was very scruffy. Not a big deal but at this price point I would expect better

family room was spacious and very comfy for 4 people (incl 2 teens). Breakfast and Dinner options were great - food was exceptional quality. Gin bar was super, Lounges relaxing - always a place to tuck your self away and the children loved the indoor pool. This is our 3rd visit and we will be back
