Good size room which was comfortable with many facilities (kettle, iron etc). I had not pre-booked breakfast but it was reasonable and I bought it on the day because there were gluten free options. Dinner was simple and quick. Very helpful staff. Good location for the airport and without a lot of noise

The hotel is very close to the airport - I’m retired and walked from the car rental to the hotel in about 10 minutes with a suitcase. However the road signs are non existent. The main way FROM the hotel to the NEC has some signs through an industrial estate but it is confusing. The route via the NEC towards the airport uses the monorail so is longer than the confusing footpath that goes directly to the airport. It is possible though!

Stayed for the masters at the belfry. Hotel was in a great position for our weekend stay. Saturday we jumped on a train into the centre for food and drinks. Uber back was £20. Sunday we walked to the train station to get the courtesy bus into the Belfry. This was return so walked the 10 mins to resorts world for food on our return not realising there was a restaurant in hotel. The staff were lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Great location and very reasonably priced

The only niggles was we had to ask for extra pillows for the second night as the one each we had weren’t the best quality and didn’t give much support. The other thing was having to ask for tea bags as you’re only provided with 2. Again both requests were quickly resolved by the welcoming staff

The room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed, and was quiet. The shower had a good non-sllip tile floor, and was large with no tricky door, and the water was hot at all times of day. There were tea and coffee facilities. There were lots of good-quaslity cooked and continental breakfast options. The restaurant, where we ate twice in the evening during our stay, had good options and the food was of a good quality and hot, and very reasonably priced (much cheaper than eating at the NEC!). Drinks aat the bar were almost half the price of those at the nearby Hilton. Staff were responsive and efficient. The hotel is very competitively priced and has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We stayed for 3 nights and.were very happy.

The location was a bit awkward. Though it's geographically near the NEC, there's a small industrial estate between them which you have to walk around for about 15 to 20 minutes to get to the NEC entrance. Luckily as we had exhibitor passes we were able to use the rear NEC doors to get in and out, so it wasn't too much of an inconvenience and only a 5 to 8 minute walk. Everything else was great.

The staff were very helpful, polite & welcoming. From hotel entrance,lobby, hallways and bedroom everywhere was highly cleaned. Comfortable bed. Despite been a twin room the hotel was willing to put in a double bed. The request was made through booking.com as I had no contact number. However I received a reply within a couple of hours confirming the request.

A little awkward reaching Birmingham international railway station as the hotel seems to be located along an industrial estate. No fault of the hotel, but I found what should be classed as an important route very poorly signed. Signs of black mould in the bathroom,Slight damage to the ceiling presumably from previous guests, no pull handle cord to activate the extractor fan

The buffet style breakfast was excellent. Two automatic coffee machines and constant hot water for tea means everyone got their preferred drink quickly. Very good selection of cereals, fruits and pastries as well as bacon, sausage etc. also meant there was something for everyone. The room was clean and shower was excellent. An easy 10 minute walk to the NEC or airport.

Tables and chairs are a little utilitarian but I'm happy to deal with a little less comfort for the value the Ibis hotel provides. The location is a little remote and in an industrial setting but an easy walk from the airport and train connections.

It made me look at ibis very different the one i stayed in before was awful this one was really nice n comfy pleased i chose this one well nice😉

This is not to the hotel it was some kids that was staying there the same time running around banging on people's doors early in the morning causing a nuisance n nobody from the hotel said anything about it to the kids or to the people they was with n that pissed me off alot cause people spend hard earn money to stay in a peaceful n quiet place so that upset me but the place was really nice 💯

The location is excellent for Birmingham Airport and the NEC. There are clear directions from Birmingham International Rail Station with the walk taking around 10-minutes. However, do be aware that the route is via the industrial rear of the NEC, but it is well lit. To find, head towards the NEC, but watch out for signs (left to the lift/right to the stairs) to the Ibis Styles Hotel located just prior to entering NEC. My room was well equiped with kettle etc, ironing board, work table and a sofa.

In early evening, the TV reception was poor with glitches, likely due to many people watching as, at 2am the picture was clear!

Comfy, clean room. Friendly staff. Great location for NEC.

Breakfast was a shambles. Not enough staff on. Had to ask for hot food then wait for it to arrive. Had to ask for fruit and bread. They’d run out of croissants. Very few pastries for the continental breakfast. Run out of butter and I couldn’t be bothered to ask and wait yet again. No one greeted us and to be honest we could have just helped ourselves to food without paying. (We did catch a staff member and pay) There weren’t enough staff on to see who was coming in. Not their fault they were trying so hard. Disappointing. I wish I’d asked for a refund as did not get value for money.

The room was a nice size and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and linen and towels were lovely. It was easy to get the room at the right temperature, as the air conditioning controls were straight-forward. Breakfast was generally good with a nice selection of food.

Breakfast - good selection of food but a low-sugar muesli would have been nice. On both mornings a coffee machine was not working so there were queues for coffee. Room - the carpet was very strange and not restful. Hairdryer - having to hold in the switch to keep it running made drying hair awkward.

The bed was really comfy and the room was really clean. Bedding was great quality and spotless. Bathroom was also spotless and the toilet roll was noticeably good quality too. Two sets of towels also and an iron and board as standard. Staff were lovely and made an effort to try to do their best for you.

It was £45 for on-site parking for three nights and breakfast wasn't included either which added a chunk of cost to the trip. My room card failed twice which meant me going up and down in the lift back to reception. Food was good but wasn't exactly as described (one fishcake instead of fishcakes, no lime) and in spite of me asking for things to be brought out together they weren't on one occasion which left me with my meal in two halves. I was shattered and just wanted to eat and sleep and not chase food and be unable to get into my room. Apart from that it was a lovely stay.
