The breakfast was good, nice range of choice and well presented. I had avocado with poached eggs, delicious. Coffee was ok, not top notch but drinkable! Restuarant was clean and spacious. Excellent location for NEC, Birmingham Airport, Resorts World and The Vox. Easy drive (15 mins) and bonus of seeing deer enroute. Staff (whoop whoop for Peter) was SO helpful. I came late to the property and found there was a temporary issue with POD2 (leaking toilet / dripping water / soaking floor). Bed was comfy so I put it out of my head and slept fairly well. When I asked if I could be changed to a different room due to above reason Peter was super helpful and I was delighted with my change to REG the Shepherd's Hut. Keys were left for me to pick up late and they'd already popped the heating and hot water on which was so welcome after a long day. Very friendly and I felt valued.

The view from the close pods isn't marvellous but nothing that would put me off.

We loved the pod , and neither of us had slept in one before. Very clean and comfortable and warm. The staff very all very friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much for them. The onside restaurant was amazing the food and ambience was amazing .

We could have done with a light switch over or near the bed to turn off the light as really dark once you turn off the main light. There is a mirror near the door but not much light there, so put it on hook in bathroom to them sit on the tolit seat to put make up on as really bright in there. Could do with another hook above the highest one so can look directly into the mirror.

The cabin was amazing and worth the money. There was a hot tub attached and a massive field for the kids to play on. We went for the Water Lantern event and it was a 5 min walk and beautiful scenery. Very easy to get too when driving (3.5hours we drove from the North). Highly recommend and we will be back for future events/stays.

While the cabin was beautiful and had everything needed, the only negatives was the need for a spruce up and some structural repairs. The cabin bent into the middle, it was noticeable when walking through the cabin and the furniture was on a tilt, luckily the drinks stayed on the table. There were no instructions for the attached hot tub so we were unaware it needed to heat up and left it too late to do this (never used a hot tub before).

The location, setup, ambience - really everything was just great. We didn't expect it to be so good. We've had pods before but this was the best - and so cosy. The weather was cool and a bit damp so the warmth was appreciated. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was sound.

A light switch nearer to the bed would have been useful and an offer of yogurt and fruit etc for breakfast would have been nice but all the food for the breakfast was freshly cooked for each order. No crispy fried eggs here.

Excellent location fantastic grounds. The accommodation is brilliant can't say enough about this place what a find. And as a bonus the food is exquisite and great value. The theme is quirky and arty throughout the rooms, grounds and in the restaurant. I have stayed here three times now, The staff can't do enough for you, and will stay here again and again!!

Constructive criticism would be....... that the breakfasts need to be served earlier on the Saturday and especially Sunday as I was exhibiting at the NEC and needed to be there before 8.30. Breakfast didn't start till 9!! However the staff, when asked came in early to accommodate us.....Top marks for that!! Brilliant

Great value for money, for a stop off on my way to Devon from North Notts. Perfect! Staff in the restaurant were friendly, and the food was great - both for my evening meal, and the breakfast (which was included in the booking). I had tea and biscuits in the pod, and the shared bathroom was right next door. there was only one other pod using the bathroom, but it didn't look as though this was booked out. Only thing that was odd, but nice, was waking up to a wedding outside the door! different, but not an unpleasant experience. I'd highly recommend the Old Hall house glamping experience!

Nothing, it was fab!

We stayed in two glamping pods, which were very comfortable and clean, a great little space with coffee, biscuits (unfortunately no dairy-free biscuits for me but you can't have everything), a tv, plug sockets and even an en suite in one of the pods. The staff were lovely and helpful, we'll definitely be back :)

Everything was great, the only thing I would say although the facilities were good, the washroom could be a little nicer. The service/experience in the on-site restaurant was also a bit patchy but I don't think this is the same company, and made up for with free breakfast vouchers with our stay!

I really liked how much land there was to explore around the place, and the food at the restaurant was really great alongside with the staff there. I liked how the place was decorated and the mix mash of vibes, I loved the way you could wild camp or glamp in pods. Overall, was very pleasantly surprised and would like to go there again.

I didn't like how I found a pair of old socks and a pill of the floor of the room... I also didn't quite like the way that the music was really loud from the main venue, it would stop around 1 am from experience. The place was also a bit confusing to find your way around.

Excellent location for using NEC. Used the restaurant on our first evening. Food wasn't cheap but was really nice and the staff were really attentive. We were given a voucher for breakfast which was a nice touch and used on our 1st morning.

Pod is fine for a couple of nights but no more as there's no proper storage. Theres a chest of drawers but too small for anything. Breakfast at the weekend doesnt start until 8.30am which was too late for us as we wanted to be at the NEC before then. We were aware the bathroom wasn't ensuite but didn't realise it was shared with 1 other pod so had to wait one morning.

Quirky room with a real steam-punk vibe. Generally clean and well presented. Restaurant food was good, and free breakfast was a bonus.

I didn't want a full english so had a 'toasted sausage sandwich'. This was fine as an included meal, but would have been disappointed if I had paid the £6.50 it was listed at - seems a lot for two slices of toasted sliced bread and a couple of sausages. Also, cutting such a sandwich on the diagonal just means you end up with little ends of sausages in the corners which fall out as soon as you pick it up as the toast doesn't grip them!
