I was apprehensive from the previous reviews and was not expecting much. I was however, very pleasantly surprised. My room was spotless. It was newly decorated and had a new carpet. All the staff were lovely. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

£5 charge to park car overnight.. The exrerior appearance of hotel and car park are not very welcoming. I arrived after dark and couldn't easily identify which set of steps led to the reception.

Hi Andrea and the team that checked me and my family in yesterday afternoon. I'm overwhelmed by the customer service I experienced and very greatful of the service we received. The room was good just the phone didn't work and I need to stay connected to reception and my son as their room was to the front of the hotel as I was located to the rear of the hotel and as I have mobility issues I could of used the phone to save some time when communicating with them. I ended up using my mobile which connected with no issues. Your staff/team were very friendly and did not fault in anything. Thank you and I look forward to booking with ypur hotel in the near future when visiting Coventry again. Barbara

Phone line not working. I didn't know I needed to turn the radiator on from the side knob manually.

I was surprised at the quality of the hotel for the price. It has Lady only parking, which were nearer to the hotel doors. The reception staff were so friendly. I had taken a bottle of beer in with me to drink in the room. I asked for a bottle opener and the bar staff opened it for me and offered me a glass. The room was great and I cannot believe how clean it was. I always find something regarding cleanliness but no, it was so clean. Hats off to the domestic department. The price was great and the bed was so comfortable I slept quite good.

The radiator made a loud noise all night. I attempted to adjust it but it continued throughout the night. I still slept though. You had to pay for parking in the hotels carpark but it was five pound so hey ho

A stay over required because of threatened train strikes. The room was very nice with a very comfortable bed, large tv and large bath! All the staff were very helpful@

It seemed a little remote...

This is the 4th time I have stayed here, and again, I was not disappointed. It is clean, comfortable, free Wi-Fi, and convenient for work. I had a problem with the TV (batteries flat on remote), and this was quickly resolved by the lady on reception. Who I must say was extremely polite, professional and friendly. For the price you can't fault it, another pleasant comfortable stay. I have stayed at 5 star hotels and I have been disappointed. I have stayed here 4 times, and considering what I have paid, I have never been disappointed. I don't eat breakfast or use the bar so can't comment on these facilities.

Friendly and easy check in, nice spacious room, clean. Comfy beds. Lots of spaces to sit inside and out. Towels provided. Room was hoovered and beds remade during our two day stay. Iron in room. Bar and breakfast available. The water fountain to top up drink bottles. Looks to be getting modernised with lovely furniture and deco. The hotel was close to pubs, restaurants, shops, play centres, park... just what we needed (short drive away). All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Big car park. We would definitely use again.

Getting hot water to shower / bath took a long time. Toilet felt a bit unsteady to sit on (room 80) There was a small leak between the bath and toilet. We forgot to mention at checkout. Visitors having to pay 5 pound night for parking. However, it was well kept, secure and lots of space.

I was very surprised about this hotel. I was thinking it would be a cheap hotel that contractors visit and would be old and grubby. However when I arrived in the evening it was dark, i parked in a parking bay reserved for ladies which was nice. The hotel was bright and clean in the reception with straight forward check in. When I got to my very large room I was pleasantly surprised, the room was very clean, I had a bath and the bedding felt nice and clean and new. There is a usb point on the desk. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good value, the staff at breakfast where excellent I had my dog with me so ate outside in the lobby area, they came and asked if I wanted tea / coffee or fresh eggs. Very pleased with the hotel will use again

The wash basin in the bathroom was cracked, with separate hot and cold water taps. Mixer taps are more hygienic. Walk-in shower, slow-running water. I was surprised when told we had to pay £5 a day for parking the car on site, as it was not clear at the time of booking. The room window facing M45 would be too noisy had I needed to keep it open at night

The hotel was very clean and the room was very nice and comfortable plus the staff were friendly
