I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Indigo Hotel, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This hotel truly knows how to make guests feel welcomed and pampered. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The hotel’s design is tasteful and comfortable, creating a pleasant environment for guests. The room I stayed in was immaculate and well-appointed, providing a perfect sanctuary after a long day of exploring the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The cleanliness of the room was top-notch, and it was evident that the housekeeping staff takes great pride in their work. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The selection was abundant, with a delightful array of options to suit all tastes. From fresh fruits and pastries to hearty cooked dishes, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The dining area was bright and cheerful, making for a lovely start to the day. What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the staff. Every member of the team was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to ensure that my stay was perfect. They went above and beyond to accommodate any requests and were always ready with a warm smile and helpful advice. It’s rare to encounter such a dedicated and personable team. Overall, my stay at the Indigo Hotel was nothing short of fantastic. With its comfortable and clean rooms, delectable breakfast, and outstanding staff, it exceeded all my expectations. The rooms are large and clean with a super comfy bed and black out curtains for a good night's sleep. The bathroom has a large walk in shower (although would have been nice to have a bath) Shampoo and shower gel provided as well as soft large towels. Also has a good magnifying mirror with lights for makeup. The mini fridge has complimentary soft drinks and there is a well stocked tea/ coffee station. The staff are friendly and attentive. I will be staying again for sure.

The car park is the main train station car park at a discounted rate for the hotel. Only a few minutes away. However, it is an extremely tight car park. The man I front of me attempted it and changed his mind, so I thought forget that and parked in the Skydome instead. 5 minutes walk and £10 for 24 hours.

The welcome by staff was brilliant. We were quite happy to leave our luggage having come by train and return at check-in time. However, the room is ready we were told and we could go on up. What a welcome change from some hotels. Breakfast is a buffet for the cold and order from your table for the hot which meant it was hot, another welcome difference. The hotel is 100 yards or so from the station and 0.7 mile to the city centre and buses regularly pass the door to the city centre, journey time around 10 minutes.

Room could have done with a bit more clothes storage space for those on a longish trip like us. The air con needed a college degree to work or at best an instruction manual. We kept doing all that was obvious but eventually by luck got it right. The TV was also a nightmare trying to find 'normal' live terrestrial stations. We gave up.

Very nice and spacious rooms, good location close to train station, nice reception and decor relating to important people in Coventry history. Good breakfast.

Breakfast could be included in the very pricy stay. Only my husband had a breakfast on two days stay. Second night our room was on ‘fire’ due to mal functioning air in that could only blow hot air and not to be switched off so little sleep. Reception guy took breakfast bill off on checked out for that night. Food choice lunch time on Sunday is only Sunday roast so we did not eat just had tea before departing. Wine choice on the bar by the glass is also very limited to couple French ones. From the dispenser we had one glass ( vino verde Portuguese) that we could have bought 4 bottles.

I stayed at the hotel for one night while travelling to Coventry with my mother, and we had a wonderful experience. Our room was spacious, spotless, and offered a lovely view. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, making for a restful night. We also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, Cogs Bar & Kitchen, and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Coventry.

The location is right next to train station and easy to access other means of transport too. The hotel itself has a very upscale industrial retro chic vibe. The room was very ambient from cleanliness, scent, decor, comfy bed, lovely toiletries, great heating. The staff in the reception and the bar/ restaurant are extremely hospitable and friendly. Not used to such warmth in England especially :-p

The chef was a bit gruff, breakfast options could be wider, like including cold salads. Overall these were mere flies in the ointment as I will definitely be going back.

Great new hotel. Lovely design. Stylish interiors. Very quiet! Great themed rooms. Well thought-through concepts for each of the tons. Fantastic comfy beds and brilliant pillows. Excellent restaurant and a lovely food choice for dinner. Lovely touches if local cultural history, eg SKA music represented with clever murals in the ground floor bathrooms. A nice nod to Coventry’s music heritage. Every member of staff were first rate. Each having a different personality and not contrived multi-national corporate attitudes. Just warm, super friendly and engaging individuals with a real can-do attitude from the moment we walked in to check-in to our check-out. Would strongly recommend a stay there. As we plan to do next year…

Our room could have done with another towel hook on the back of the bathroom door. One is never enough when two are sharing a room.

Lovely new hotel. Very clean and fresh. Comfortable rooms with lovely quirky theme and lots of nods to olden days like the rotary phone. Appreciated the residents discount on food and beverages-really made it better value! Location excellent for central Coventry.

All was great but just regarding breakfast-and this is minor but it niggled-not enough fruit slices, had lovely smoothies day one and they never appeared after that! Same with the lovely tomato bread. Tables are small for the size of the cups so they got crowded with crockery fast and could have been cleared bit quicker. Staff were great some were just very new and this is not a complaint just observation. Otherwise breakfasts were freshly cooked and delicious. Love that.

Hotel reception staff were warm, friendly and professional. Room was lovely, comfortable and provided all we needed.

Poor display of dining options and times. We sat for an hour on Sunday waiting on a sandwich having reviewed the menu on Saturday. We were then told Sunday was roast day and a totally different menu. We could have had a sandwich before 12!!! Menu reviewed on Saturday, said sandwiches 12 noon to 5pm. Might be useful to display a menu daily, with available food, especially if the set up varies on different days. Had to leave without planned lunch snack. Very disappointing.

Every member of staff we spoke to or interacted with were brilliant, from a barman finding me some chocolate, to the room cleaner checking our identity when we entered our room to collect things while she was cleaning, that made us feel very safe. Everyone was so polite, so helpful, every interraction. We even received a phonecall on arrival in room to see if room was OK, just amazing service. This is a special hotel, and I travel a lot with work, all over Europe, the staff here are another level.
