We actually got to Blackpool. By 9am because we had booked tickets for a day at the zoo, we did manage to park on the street running across the bottom of Barton Avenue where the hotel was, so was very pleased about not having to pay for parking for the duration of our stay. After our day at the zoo we checked in at roughly 4.30pm, both owners were out in the garden. They were very polite and welcoming. Our room number was 5. It was lovely, well presented and overlooked the front of the property. Tea and coffee facilities were available, WiFi password was on the door of your room so my son was happy he could use his Nintendo switch and they even had soap, shower gels and shampoo in the bathroom too. We were really pleased with the hotel and where it was located was fantastic, it's very close to the front, 10 minute walk to Central pier. We would definitely return...

°Our only gripe was the double bed was pretty hard and springs could be felt.

Ideal location for us - halfway between the Pleasure Beach and the Tower. Room and ensuite were spotless. Hosts were waiting at the door for us. We booked a family room as there were no doubles available but it was still a fantastic price. It looks as though they've spent a lot of money on the decor and put a lot of thought into the layout. The TV was huge and the wifi was excellent. Apart from the odd door or window being closed, it was very quiet.

Family room was a bit cramped because of the extra bed but there was still enough space between the furniture.

Loved being having the beach at the end of the road. Beautiful place to sit and have breakfast with hardly anyone else around even though it was a bank holiday weekend and sunny! Room was lovely and clean, comfortable, well equipped and had a great en suite. Owners were friendly and helpful.

Don't think food was served but I didn't need that. Great to have NCP parking spaces on the street but download the app before you go. I struggled to download it on the spot but was fine once I could use the Delamere WiFi.

Hey my son and I spent the last 4 nights here and it’s a lovely hotel to stay at❤️ The couple who run the hotel are very nice people and very welcoming. You can come and go as you please no hassle. 100 yards from the beach but also in a nice wee street that lets you get a good sleep from the nightlife. I’ve stayed in over 100 hotels all over the UK from Wick in Scotland down to Plymouth and this hotel is right up there with the best in the UK We will definitely be visiting again 👍❤️

Nick and Mandy were very welcoming and helpful hosts. We had a family room with a double and single bed for our 12 year old. Had a cold can pop as soon as we arrived and nice char as waiting a few mins for our room, no problems. Room facilities were great with water, plenty of tea and coffee and a nice dresser and small wardrobe the cube boxes to unpack into are a great idea. We booked as I was doing a local Parkrun and my husband the run the lights of an evening. Our hosts took time to ask how our events were and went above and beyond to help sort the car after we initially paid parking some distance away, note for future travellers there is more than one hotel of this name. No comments on breakfast as they are renovating kitchen we went to jimmys round the corner on our last day highly recommended rather than using a chain. 2 little dogs there were great and so friendly

Everything was really great if I was pushed for a response here would be the smoking out front each time In and out of home but I respect it’s also the owners home I didn’t want to sit with a cuppa outside

The owners were lovely and very welcoming. The room itself was cosy, comfortable and clean and had everything you needed. A decent shower and toilet and all towels provided. Tea and coffee making facilities were well stocked up and I liked the idea of a big bottle of water provided too as I always wake up thirsty in the night! Everything was fab and we couldn’t fault it one bit, for a one night stay it was exactly what we needed.

My 2nd time visiting the Delamere hotel (Barton Avenue) A great little Gem of a guesthouse. A very quiet location of the back road of the Promenade, quick to get to all the local attractions. I was in Room 4, has tea and coffee facilities, and a powerful en suite shower. There is also a bar down stairs. Great owners who are a credit to Blackpools hospitality trade.

Nothing to dislike

Mandy and Nick are fantastic hosts and nothing was ever too much trouble. I asked if I could put banners up for my son's birthday and friends anniversary and we walked in to have helium balloons and banners in the bar area and over the window and door of the room we were staying. The room we stayed was the family room and the decor was gorgeous. Both my sons loved their 2 little dogs and keep asking to go back and see them. Thank you for making our stay brilliant and going the extra mile! From Sara and the boys! !

The room was spotless with a fabulously comfy bed. We stayed in room 5 and it had a lovely bathroom. There was a bottle of water, biscuits and tea and coffee making facilities. Good storage for clothes and plenty of space. The owners were lovely and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

The shower was a little temperamental but we got there in the end with it. It would have been nice to have a small fridge and a dressing table with mirror in the room but these are just extras. Absolute brilliant to stay and would recommend to anyone.

The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Our family room was clean, bright and spacious. There were little extras in the room such as bottled water and biscuits. Although there was no designated parking, we managed to get packed close by on a street free of charge. The location was a short walk into the centre and close to the sea front. We would return here in the future.

For the price we paid for the room, there were no negatives to say.
