The Owner was soooo so very smiley and welcoming, nothing was to much trouble, the views from the rooms were lovely, overlooking the sea and Promenade, grear for sitting on the front benches and chairs and people watch, seeing all the crazy stuff that goes on. The room was very quiet and the matress was was so comphy, i slept like a log. Exceptional value for money for a prom sea view. If you want to do a cheely Blackpool mini stay or break on a budget, this place is great, i stay hete for 3 nights, i could of felt comfortable staying longer, its a few doors down from the Manchester pub which is great if you love sports, and it serves food. And a premier convenience store and supermarket are on the road behind. A small 10 space or so N.C.P car park is on trafalgar road next to the hotel , yoy download the app to book a slot, its £14 for 24hours .there are other car parks ,but i used that one.

Not the hotels fault, double yellow lines around the area makes it a little tricky to park up for a few minutes to get suitcases out. A little tip , park your car down near the pleasure Beach on a side road and pop to the Promenade and catch a tram to the Manchester pub ,buy a cheap return ticket, that can be used all week. And way your car is safe and you havecsaved a fortune on carparks.

The location on the sea front was great in the middle of central and south pier. The owners are very pleasant always their with a smile to greet you back to the bnb, help with any bags and happy to see if you are having a good holiday. Basic clean rooms with a friendly welcoming atmosphere. It is not the ritzz but if you are just after somewhere friendly to throw your bags in and get your heads down at a decent price then this is the place for you. Thankyou to the owners your smiles make this place.

The rooms are small and very dated. There is no food or drinks avaliable from the property...that being said unlike other places we have stayed they are happy for you to supply and consume your own.

We absolutely loved our stay at 'The Chimes on the Sea'! Farooq was really lovely and helpful too. He was always about when we needed him and gave us his number in case we needed anything. He was very friendly and our kids really liked him. Nothing was too much bother for him and he really made our holiday. The hotel is in a great location, especially for families. We could watch the lit up wheel from the bedroom window every night which the kids loved. We could also watch the sun rise and set from the bedroom window. We also had a wonderful view of the sea. There are lots of cafes and restaurants near the hotel which were very nice and reasonably priced. There are also lots of great places to take kids. It's within walking distance of the train stations too. Because of its location, there wasn't any problem getting to sleep at night. There were also dozens of horse and carriages riding past the hotel which were lit up at night time, it was wonderful. We are so glad that we stopped here!

The gentleman who greeted us was very pleasant and welcoming. He always checked in to see how we were doing. The room was also great value for what we paid and was clean/tidy. The view was great too!

The walls are very thin and we could hear everything going on in the next room. Luckily everyone staying seems to be nice couples so it wasn't too bad, It just made us feel self conscious

The room was small but efficient, it was clean, welcoming and smelt nice! The man who was working the reception area was so lovely, he chatted to me and made me feel welcome! It was a last minute booking as the hotel we was originally at was not what we paid for, but this was a great back up hotel!

The carpet could be updated but other than that it was a nice comfortable stay!

The train on the way home,. My celtic weekend,.. also The owner very welcoming lovely guy went out his way to see if I was ok and if a needed anything.

People kicking off in the hotel arguing at night drunk,. Also when a was going to make the bed underneath the bed was full of rubbish, clothing, food in room number 16.

Best night sleep I've had in a very long time lovley and quiet at night the owner was so lovley let us check in early carried my bags so I didn't struggle so polite and helpful very attentive always checking if we we needed anything always a smile on his face making us feel very welcome the room was a lovley temp threw out the night. Situated straight across from the beach and a short walk to the central pier close to shops and arcades absolute lovley stay.

Would. Of liked a bit bigger bathroom but all in all I liked everything

Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating staff. Great location to the beach and the promenade. Quiet, warm and cosy.

No hair dryer although I probably could have requested one? Old building so a little wear and tear here and there, but I feel it was good value for money and was happy with the room for what we paid.

Great Value For Money Small Double Room Was Perfect For Me And My Partner The Guy Who Runs The Hotel Was Super Helpful With Anything We Needed During Our Stay Even Invited Us To The Water Park With Other Guests Very Friendly And The Location Is Absolutely Perfect! Close to all amenities nice and clean the manager excellent 👌 could not fault him. I would definitely stay here again very good value for money. Also asked for a later check out the night before and got one with no problems.

Maybe bigger towels every thing else was fine got what we paid .
