Brilliant staff, couldn’t do enough for you! The lady who greeted us was lovely explained everything to us and let us check in early. We did not expect this and just needed to store the luggage before check in so a huge bonus. She explained everything and was lovely with the kids. The breakfast girls again exceptional - helpful and friendly. A cracking breakfast! : ) After check out we were allowed to store our cases so did not have to drag them around Blackpool. The room was big, very clean and just what we needed for our stay. Bed linen was spotless, lovely hot shower and flat screen TV. Staff should be proud they are all brilliant will be back next year and recommend to others!

That I couldn’t stay longer!

Everything about the hotel was good. The reception on arrival from Shelly the helpfulness of Sylvia and all the staff was brilliant, the breakfast was great, the room was above what we expected, Sylvia arranged free parking for us, we couldn't have been looked after any better, we were delighted.

Nothing to do with the hotel but we heard a few arguments on the street and in car park of supermarket close by. This is no fault of the hotel or it's staff but just a bit uncomfortable when we had young children with us. The local authorities in Blackpool need to sort out some of the loitering and general run down image of Blackpool. I don't want this to take away from our opinion of the Hopton hotel which could not have been better to us, a great hotel and we hope to return.

Hotel room spotless tea/coffee supplied beds comfy towels provided staff very helpful and attentive looked after us rather well nothing to much bother for them.Breakfast variety of cereal/yoghurts fruit juice on offer and cooked breakfast we just opted for sausage/bacon on toast and that was cooked perfect good location 5/10 min walk to town there is a bus stop minute away from hotel which takes you into town and a taxi ride £5/6 they also have a yard where you go secure mobility scooter and charge so we where very happy and a big thanks you to staff for a pleasant stay

The only issue we came across was when we went for breakfast the door was locked from this inside and where told to wait we where told it was a automatic lock (it was a bolt lock and someone from the inside needs to bolt it)then it was bolted closed again after we went in what if there was a fire as this looked like the only way in or out.

The breakfast was a amazing for myself and my 4 year old grandson. Great mix of cereals, fruit juices, yoghurt, fruit, toast, tea/coffee and an amazing full English breakfast. My wee grandson loved his homemade pancakes every morning 🥞. Kept us full till 2ish. We had an en suite twin room with clean white bedding and comfy mattresses. The toilet was spotless and the shower was perfect. The only issue I had was the heat in the room but this was resolved by being offered a fan. The staff were all lovely and very approachable.

Wouldn't have changed a thing, it was all good

If you like home to home then hopton is for you. Sylvia and her team are second to none nothing is too much trouble and always very pleasant and smiling. The hopton is a very cosy clean hotel with everything you need. We stayed for a week and was looked after extremely well often asked if we needed anything or if our rooms needed freshening up. Breakfast was an English Breakfast with choice of fruit yogurt and cereals with tea and coffee. Any changes isnt to much trouble for them they go above and beyond for you. Cannot recommend the hotel and staff enough. Thank you for a well needed week away at your hotel we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Remember come visit us in wales when you're down next!!

Absolutely nothing! Perfect hotel

We stayed here for 4 days, and were met by the owner ( manageress? ) Shelly and she was so easygoing and friendly. The waitresses were so kind, and patient, especially with my breakfasts because I just couldn't finish them. So, each day they would ask me if I might prefer something else. They were exactly the same with all the guests, and nothing was too much for them. They are certainly an asset to the hotel, and we would definitely return.

There was nothing we didn't like. We didn't like the weather while we were there but that was out of their control lol.

The staff were amazing! Couldn’t do enough for you! Defintley one of the kindest ran hotels in Blackpool! They don’t make you feel akward for asking for things e.g I wanted the room warmer and they gave us a heater. Lovely, comfy beds!!! Breakfast full english and so tasty! Accomadated to your needs and tastes aswell. My little brother wanted to tip them so he did! They were so grateful! Definitley recommend and would stay again 100%! I’m not sure if they do evening entertainment as we went to another hotel for it but if they don’t they should, it would be awesome. They have a bar, tv and pool table. Lovely nice and quiet on a nightime aswell especially for weekend.

Nothing! Best stay had in Blackpool and I’ve been loads.

Staff amazing - friendly and couldn't do enough Cleanliness - everything was super clean in our room and all around the hotel public spaces Breakfast - great made to order cooked breakfast - we only wanted scrambled eggs and toast 3rd day which they made for us - good selection of fruit and cereal as well as juice . Room - very clean, comfortable - dated furniture but all in good condition. Nice touch of tea/coffee and biscuits. Bathroom - clean but dated. Shower very hot but lower pressure. Plumbing very loud. Shower gel, hand soap and towels provided. Location - Excellent for us - were attending concert at Winter Gardens which was a 20min walk away, train station 25min walk, beach, shops, pubs and restaurants within 5mins walk. Felt safe and comfortable walking around.

Plumbing was loud, room was very bright even at night due to lighting in corridor.

Easy to find, friendly staff, lovely room, fabulous food. Evidence of Money being spent to both exterior and interior areas- our room was quite recently decorated and carpeted- beds were comfortable and clean. Near the promenade and most of the attractions on offer. Breakfast lovely- a range of fruits/yoghurt/cereals - free flowing toast and drinks and a range of cooked breakfasts which were very good.

Nothing to dislike- although some communal area are dated- but these areas are clean and looked after- unless you've hundreds of pounds free to throw at these places you have to start somewhere ( outside inwards is a good call)- IMHO.

Staff were brilliant nothing was a hassle , breakfast was brilliant and value , really looked after us , don’t judge a book by its cover , this is a great hotel in need of a bit of modernisation , the staff here are outstanding and it’s impeccably clean but again the staff are the biggest asset of this building , working in hospitality myself for over 20 years at a high level. I could not fault this place apart from what I’ve previously said

My only gripe is such a good hotel could be doing with a touch of modernisation, as you drive up expectations are low. And it’s very dated inside
