For a budget overnight stay this place is great! The staff are very friendly and welcoming, there is a great menu and an in-house bar for the evening if you didn’t want to go out there is entertainment like a disco/karaoke. The room was very clean and looked like it has recently been redecorated. Lots of tea/coffee available and info for local takeaways if that was what you wanted. Free WiFi available too which was good for streaming. The bed was super comfy and also new and the shower was super hot. My only down point was the walls are quite thin so we could hear the neighbouring room arguing but it is an older building so I suppose that can’t really be helped but overall, great stay and a great sleep!

Staff were fantastic especially Martin,as I had taken ill before I got to the hotel, Martin helped me to my room and carried my rucksack for me and sorted out a fan for me,he also checked I was ok for the 2 days I was there,as I couldn't leave the hotel,Oscar the chef deserves a medal,the breakfast and evening meal were cooked to perfection, picture of small evening meal shown in review,thanks Martin and Oscar,the room with balcony was clean and spacious,at least I got to see part of Blackpool from the balcony,the hotel had everything you need in one place,bar, restaurant,music,karaoke etc,and seating area outside,

The lift was shut down,so not handy for people with mobility problems lucky my room was only up one flight of stairs,

Everything you need under 1 roof. Lively atmosphere, good vibes. welcoming and conscientious staff ,comfort, warmth, nice temperature on showers (no dodgy plumbing to either burn or freeze) and fab sea/beach views. If I'm being totally honest there wasn't much that I didn't like. We have booked to return with family next month

That the sun rose over the opposite side of the road. The Sun came across tantalisingly slow and eventually hit our balcony around midday. Midday being when most folks would have gone exploring already. To stay for the sun, loose half the day. Go have your day, what was the point of balcony? Its that sunset and sun rise from the balcony, that is an absolute treat to experience. I had to clean the balcony table so be mindful its not the Ritz or Tiffany's nor would it suit folks that prefer the quieter quaint type of stay.

Location and hotel facilities. onsite Bar, great food at reasonable prices. A fab Hotel with a buzzing and happy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Easy going Hotel. We felt very comfortable. Room was spacious, shower cubicle is big, no problems with water i.e. heat. our balcony room was lovely and warm, comfortable and clean. we will be back and have already recommended The Sapphire to other family members

narrow corridors and walls were paper thin. Maybe not a hotel for those who would like a quiet stay away from home. Music is loud but we liked this atmosphere so no real complaints from us. I was disappointed when I opened the balcony door. The Balcony wasn't cleaned which was a downer as it was our anniversary which is the reason why the sea view balcony room was booked at extra cost. Cigarette buts everywhere. It took me quite a while to clean the balcony table and lots of toilet roll, I couldn't quite believe how bad it was, the sticky residue was so thick. A bit of an anti climax to be fair, as we had gone to the balcony to enjoy the sunset. once it was cleaned and we could sit, it was a fabulous sunset and great experience.

The hotel only been open a week and its been amazing we are so happy we stayed here staff very friendly and helpful with nice entertainment great bar at great prices bar open till 23:30 very close to local amenities and attractions amazing views from balcony with seating and with an amazing and nice view of the sea and watching all the old and new trams go by tea and coffee making facilities with tea coffee sugar in room and brand new coffe cups with clean kettle bedding very clean and fresh all new black furniture nice blue and white pattern walls with plug sockets each side of the bed nice clean bathroom facilities with lots of hot water nice and big shower warm rooms would highly recommend this hotel I didn't want to leave looking to stay here end of August keep up the amazing work guys and girls fantastic job and thank you for letting us stay in your amazing hotel this hotel also connected with the hotel next door called residency with connecting doors through hotel.

Internet is here but very weak signal in room 8 and no mirror in bedroom and only one bedside table but all in all no major issues

I loved everything about this hotel from the moment I walked through theirs doors. The hotel was perfectly situated and there was a lovely seating area at the front of hotel. There was a disco/music every night and day to add to the vibe and the bar was open throughout my stay. There was parking available too. I went there as a solo traveller from 24, 25 checking out 26 December and received such a warm welcome. I felt part of a family and had the best time. Would defo recommend and stay again without a doubt!

Anyone who leaves negative comments should be ashamed. There was nothing negative to say.

The location is brilliant being right on the front. The entertainment is good so I didn't have to go out if I didn't want to (being on my own). And I didn't feel out of place being in the bar area on my own. Very friendly place, have booked to go again.

The lift wasn't working and I was on the top floor. I have a disability so struggled a bit. There was a fault with the room that took longer than it should have to be sorted. I would of thought the toilet rolls and coffee, tea and sugar would of been replenished daily. I would of liked a lamp, but just being picky and knowing there was 1 in the previous room.

Jeff/Geoff what a lovely guy well Presented and very welcoming the room which we booked was a double room with sea view but thanks to jeff/Geoff he upgraded us at no extra cost so we had a balcony and sea view absolutely fantastic.the room was clean and presented well great location too between South pier and central pier nearest tram stop only about 100 yards or so away the bathroom was clean too. The facilities are good got it's own little bar and small stage area will definitely be staying there again we stayed 21st Oct to 23rd Oct 2024. His staff are very pleasant too.

Nothing it was all what we expected and more.
