Friendly, knowledgeable, lovely host. Breakfast was really lovely. Great choice and my husband loves a big cooked breakfast and this was what he got! We stayed at three different B&B's over the week and this was his favourite breakfast. Location is really good for everything. Really nice to wake up in the morning to the sea.

The only thing that could have been better is the size of the room and the size of the bed as it was quite small and the bed was up against a wall. To be fair there may have been a bigger room I could have booked or asked for but guests should be made aware that the room is small on booking incase they wish to change it.

Mark is an amazing hotelier. His breakfast is one of the best. We booked the Sandford not expecting it to look like the pictures... But it does! Its clean, warm, welcoming and friendly. Mark and his wife are everything you could expect from a top class hotel. For a better phrase...This is a little gem not to be missed. Value for money and a superb location.

Located between South & Central pier. Free parking. Owner takes care of keys/managing car park. Breakfast included. Very yummy, made to order. Fuel English, cereals, yoghurts, juice etc all included. Sea view room. Friendly owners. Happy to help & make the stay enjoyable. Able to stay another night at reasonable rate. Towels/tea/milk sachets etc replenished when requested. Perfect location to watch air show/firework champs.

Wi-Fi could be hit & miss but we were on a break so not much of a problem. My pre-teen had to actually speak to me & wasn’t glued to her phone.

A lovely little sea-front hotel,run by owners Mark and Nikki,who go that extra mile to make sure you enjoy your stay.Nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfasts are exceptional,with many choices of cereals,juices,teas,coffee,and of course the cooked breakfast,using 1st class ingredients,and as much or as little as you want. We were also lucky to be able to park outside the hotel,which is a big bonus in Blackpool,so we could just leave the car there for the duration of our stay,and make use of the tram service.Couldn’t pick up the wi-fi on the second floor,but I’m not going to knock any points off for that,it was fine on the lower floors. We would highly recommend the Sandford Promenade Hotel.

We had a great stay at the Sandford! The location was perfect—right between the Pleasure Beach and the Tower, so it was really easy to walk to both ends of Blackpool. The staff were especially lovely and went above and beyond, even helping us reverse our car which was much appreciated. The room had plenty of plug sockets (a small but huge win!), and the shower was really nice too. Breakfast was a highlight—everything was fresh and tasty, and the fried eggs were particularly amazing. We’d definitely stay again!

Nothing to dislike

The breakfast was fantastic, there was everything you could have wanted. The hosts Niki and Mark couldn't do enough for us. We had a sea view room which was very clean and tidy with plenty towels and soap. The shower was good too. You only have to ask if you need extra of anything eg, tea,coffee, milk etc. The rooms are on the small side but big enough for myself and my husband. There is a small car park at the front of the hotel which is an added bonus.

Stayed at the Sandford Hotel for 7 nights, with a sea view. Our host mark was excellent, he went above and beyond and really made us feel at home. The best host I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting in all the hotels I’ve stayed at in Blackpool. Mark and the team made our stay comfortable and was always available if we ever needed clean fresh towels, toilet paper or our bins emptying. The sea view rooms are quite small, but that’s just how the buildings are and it didn’t cause us any issues. You have tea/coffee facilities, a hanging rail, storage drawers, a ceiling fan, a small tv, a very comfy bed with an extra duvet and ofcourse an amazing view of the sea! The shower was very good, up until the second to last night when our trip was ending.. due to road works which caused our shower to not produce enough water to have a shower which was in no fault of the hotel. I spoke to mark who instantly rectified the issue and gave us another key for a room with a working shower. The breakfast was superb. It’s served between 9:00-10:00 and you have a variety of choices. From full breakfast, toast, cereal, breakfast bars, biscuits, coffee/tea & juice. The breakfast is well cooked and you always leave the dining room with a full stomach! The hotel also has a bar which has always been open, they also have a pool table and lounge. The hotel is in a perfect location, in the centre between south pier and central pier. It takes roughly 15 minutes to walk down towards the pleasure beach and roughly 15 minutes to coral island… they also have a tram stop across the road from the hotel so it doesn’t get better than that really! Overall this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Blackpool, I would highly recommend this hotel above most hotels in Blackpool. Mark and his team couldn’t do any more for us and we will definitely be returning again in the future. - Tyler & Natalie

We booked last minute and Mark was able to take our booking. The breakfast was filling with lots of options being available hot or cold. The hotel is across from St Chad's tram stop and with trams every 10.minutes it means easy access to the promenade. The hotel is clean, modern and has a residence bar with a large variety of drinks available. When you arrive you see 9 car park spaces and you park in any of them and you give your key to reception. Mark or his wife Nikki then play car park Jenga so you literally don't need to worry about moving it during your stay to accommodate others. The hotel although small with 12 rooms available felt safe and secure. Most importantly clean and welcoming.

Nothing. I would stay again and advise others of this hotel. Blackpool can be a hit or a miss when it comes to accommodation. This hotel would not be suitable for non able bodied due to the stairs. Our room didn't have a sea view but can be seen from the bar.

I booked for son and his girlfriend after they'd looked at several different places. He's so pleased he chose this one. He said "Perfect all the way. Friendly owners. Clean. Comfortable room. Great breakfasts. Ideally situated between South and Central piers. Slept in last day and offered late breakfast but sadly too late as had plans booked. Nothing is too much for the owners. So friendly and accommodating. Would definitely use again next time."

Staff were so inviting they couldn't do enough for us. Room very clean. Breakfast was lovely and fresh. We could have any combination and as much as we wanted. We left our car keys at reception so our car could be moved to help all visitors. This is a great addition to the hotel because we didn't need to worry about moving it the whole weekend. We will be back.
