Amazing staff at royal carleton and seabank, unfortuantly could not stay the last night at carlton as was closing but moved us to the seabank, was not told by blackpool promotions that we also had to walk to the other hotel for breakfast and there was no entertainment at the carleton, this did not bother us as we was in blackpool to visit family but could of been a problem for others,it is the lovely staff ,declan, and night porter at carleton so good and helpful, great welcome from james drury the manager at seabank and great breakfast served by mona and a friendly man always smiling, would stay again at either hotel.

Not being told by blackpool promotions when booking that breakfast entertainment was not at carleton

Room was well appointed and comfortable, all worked as it should and loads of thoughtful extras like a fan without having to ask! FOOD, good honest wholesome food, well prepared with skill and flare. The buffet style I had allowed as many trips as I wanted, the prawns were nice followed by the pork in a sticky black bean sauce was hard to beat but the casserole was also excellent, sweets were home produced and full of flavour, i had cheesecake and a lovely mousse, both hand made and so good. Thank you for that!

Some residents were "over enthusiastic" however thats Blackpool and the staff handled it very well, actually enjoyed people watching lol. You can tell a good Hotel when things go wrong and they just handle it with no fuss and everyone is happy.

I stayed were with my 2 years old daughter, we had a double room with balcony it’s was brilliant. I booked on the day as a last minute trip, I messaged to ask if they could put a travel cot in the room and it was there when I checked in. Room very clean, clean towels, toiletries and tea, coffee and sugar. Lovely bar down stairs playing music and good selection of drinks.

Great location on the sea front, close to tram stops. Room was small but had everything I needed, and the shower staff was a wide one which was great as I get claustrophobic in the usual square ones. Breakfast was buffet style which is always great! Bonus points for fan being put in the room and staff switching it on every day (I was there during the heatwave). Already booked to stay again for the airshow next year.

Only downside is that it's a bit warren-like, so to get to the rooms at the rear is a struggle with a large case, and there's lots of little steps up and down. During the hot weather it was very muggy in the corridors.

The hotel was very handy for amenities, also good food was served, staff very helpful

,although the hotel offered a comfortable stay And good food the hotel itself needs quite a bit of work done, interior and exterior . Previously stayed at the hotel on two other occasions its now needing refurbished.
