Lovely staff, very friendly and welcoming. Nice big room for me and my kids. Fan in the room ready for the hot nights. Tea and coffee station Beds were soooo comfy! Perfect location for the amusements and having a little wander down that end of the promenade. Very close to free cash machine and plenty convenience stores and food outlets. Considering it was close to amusements etc, it was very quiet through the night, we had to have window open as it was too hot, didn't hear much. There was a bar and a pool table too. Wish we'd stayed longer Lovely hotel!

The parking was quite far to walk, I'm disabled and booked a car park space thinking it would be close. 18 pounds for 2 nights, which is pretty decent as it was a secure car park. We just took our bags inside when we got there then drove around to the car park so we didn't have to walk around with all our stuff. It was just under 10 mins to walk back, I had to get a taxi to take me on the last morning to pick up my car as I was struggling with pain. This has not changed my view on the hotel though and I'd still definitely stay there again.

Loved the location. The owners and staff were very friendly and although we weren’t in a lot, when we saw the staff they always asked if everything was ok and did we have everything we needed. The manager Gemma also kindly phoned a taxi for us on the day we left. My daughter loved the pool table!!!

The room was a little small but it didn’t matter much in the end as we were out most of the time!

Absolutely great location, staff were incredibly friendly and polite! Relatively clean and tidy with the rooms being attended to every day.

Top floor with no lift and steep stairs was a struggle with our toddler and luggage. Was a little bit on the pricey side. If you’re tall the shower is not very good for you to use.

Everything, This is the first time we have stayed at the Ferndale and I can honestly say I don't think my wife and I will be staying at any other hotel in Blackpool than this one. From arrival on Friday teatime to leaving Sunday morning, the whole stay was exceptional. The hotel was clean, bright and our room was nice and fresh. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower was very clean with shampoo and shower gel provided. We had breakfast on the Saturday morning and it was so nice we ordered for Sunday morning. The bar is very well stocked and is open till late, as oppose to other B&Bs we have stayed at where the bar is either closed or closes early. The whole staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. This hotel is a must stay if you're ever staying in Blackpool. Cannot praise everyone at the Ferndale high enough. Thank You for an amazing stay. Frank & Lesley Scott (stayed Friday 29th September to Sunday 1st October, Room 8)

Location was fantastic, very quick to walk to the city, and Paul was very friendly and nice. He explained everything well and the room was really nice and relaxed, perfect for chilling out in after hectic days at an event!

I think the only thing that could have been better was there was no hot water on the first morning. I was then told by the staff that there is a little red switch in my room that needs to be turned on to get the hot water. If there could be a sign or if we are informed on arrival, then that's the only thing!

we was in the family room with en-suite and for Blackpool and what you pay you cant really fault it, room was clean, come with everything you need even a fan for these hot days, bathroom was a decent size, perfect location with everything nearby and parking just down the road, we would definitely book again in the future, good value for money

didn’t effect our stay what so ever but the double bed was a hard mattress (some like hard, others like myself prefer soft) but single bed was nice and soft.. also didn’t effect our stay but disabled customers who don’t read the q&a be mindful there is no ground floor room or lift (these buildings ain’t massive so I myself wouldn’t have expected to see a lift)
