Our usual hotel was fully booked so was every other hotel in the centre of Blackpool except this one so we booked Black Oceans. However we were anxious after reading a lot of bad reviews, mostly around cleanliness and things not working. Our usual hotel became available and my girlfriend was like "why not cancel and book there". I said just have faith. So we stuck with Black Oceans. We got to the hotel and it was pretty decent, clean too. It completely exceeded our expectations and one night for only £56 that's all! That means two nights for the price of our usual place. You get a fridge, kettle bathroom, TV, mirror. Also for +£20 you can book a late checkout for 12 o'clock. If you want to find parking we used Your Parking Space and booked Sainsburys for £12 / 24hr. It's a good 10-15 minute walk. We stayed at Room #8 Hudson Room. On the day they send you two codes one is to get into the building itself and the second code is for your room itself. So no picking up keys or losing keys. Yes there is a £100 deposit which alot of people are complaining about but that's refundable. Anything you find broke just report it straight away. It looks to me they've had some issues in the past which explains the bad reviews. No business is perfect, they all have difficult times . If you're booking here and you have a decent stay then please review them on here and Google. The next time we stay in Blackpool we are staying here and for the price we'll stay two nights.

There is nothing I did not like.

Location was amazing, right next to everything you need. Stayed in the apartment for 4. The layout was great was small livingroom and kitchen with the beds tucked away. Out of all the hotels iv stayed at in backpook this is one of the best. As I only ever stay 1 night I never want to spend too much and for the price this is great. The keypads are a nice touch so not have to carry keys and if I wanted to go back and leave the hubby then he could get in without waking me. I would definitely return. Owners created a WhatsApp group to keep you informed and easy to chat too when needed

Iv never had to give a deposit before going to blackpool so this was a first for me. But I do understand and sadly a lamp was broke by another tenant. I just took some photos and sent to the owner just to cover myself but they where so understandable.

The room was very modern and clean. Decor was very nice - LOVED ! Bed was super comfy had a lovely sleep both nights. Staff via messenger were friendly and helpful. The location was spot on for blackpool you were 5mins from town and beach. We have said we would definitely go back !

Only 2 things for us as we did enjoy our time here. No wardrobe in our room, just hard 2 nights living out of a suit case especially with multiple coats and items. The sink over the toilet was hard to use (had to use the kitchen sink) It didn't ruin the stay it's just a thing we both thought was really hard to wash and brush our teeth over a toilet.

The property was clean and tidy easy to find very close to the beach, pier and local amenities. Loads of food places and shops close by. But by far the staff were extremely helpful and friendly going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable as possible. “Lukas” was by far the best host I have come across during my stays anywhere. He showed me around the town and helped me to get everything I needed to make my stay enjoyable. Provided me with clean towels everyday changed bedding etc when ever I needed. Or if you want to be left alone he will respect that also. Family friendly and peaceful Very helpful and friendly very good customer service and I would recommend this property if u visiting Blackpool stay here.

Everything was great no problems at all!

Staff were always on hand to assist. We had an issue with the lock, and a staff member was there within minutes to help fix the problem, and the following day asked for permission to get the door lock changed to ensure no further issues were had with the door to the room. However we were left to our own devices so it was lovely and quiet, no pressures whatsoever.

Staircase perhaps a little narrower than normal and steeper making it a bit more challenging to carry luggage up and down, however due to the structure of the building this isn't something that can easily be changed, it does work and you can use them, merely my personal opinion.

The only problem we had was get in the place as the code keeped changing but everything was fine Hussain was nice to us we stayed at number 4 wich was good as one of my friends had a walking stick Thanks for the apartment we will definitely be booking with use again Phil Alan and les

The location was excellent, beds were very clean and the apartment was spacious. It was good value for money.

The bathroom needs updating and cleaned. The pipes were leaking and mould around the shower. There was no hot water in the sink in the bathroom. The toaster only worked if you kept holding the handle down and could do with being updated in terms of paintwork and general maintenance.

Great location. Short walk to the sea front. The decor of the hotel is lovely. The keycode system to access the room is very convenient. Staff were excellent and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice place to stay. Friendly staff. We were at the top floor very quiet. I would highly recommend this place for a family stay. Loads of room, Comfortable and warm. Excellent. We will be booking again when next in Blackpool. Little gem this place, And the price for a family is really good, Close to everything. Parking around the corner. 1 minute walk. So no issues there. Brilliant

Nothing was all great.

The management was super helpful from the start of our stay. Allowed us to leave luggage in the property before we checked in. Facilities were excellent and exactly what we were looking for. Convenient location as it’s close to several attractions and easily able to travel round the city
