Overall nice property for cheap Price

The location was perfect for Brighton Pride, and the room was really quirky with a fun loft-style layout and space for a group. It had a small kitchenette, comfy beds, and suited our needs for a one-night stay. Once we got the code, check-in was easy, and overall it was good value for money.

Check-in was a bit stressful — we didn’t get the access code until 20 minutes after the stated time, and there was no way to speak to a real person as the number was WhatsApp only and fully automated. The property could use a bit of TLC; it wasn’t filthy, but it felt a bit dusty and worn. The bathroom door didn’t fully shut either, which was a little awkward.

Lovely quaint hotel, close to beach front. Bed was very comfortable and lovely big white towels. We were met at the door by a lovely lady (sorry, didn't get her name). She helped us with our bags and offered us a glass of prosecco.

We booked late and maybe why our room was on the 5th floor, no lift, but we managed with the help of the lovely lady. I get having the key in lockable box on the door, but really difficult to see combination lock at night, with my glasses and after a few drinks! We only had one cup and no shower gel but that was minor because the bed was so comfy.

Room was nice, the AC worked, wifi great. Access through front after hours was flawless. The ID verification was a new thing to me but totally understandable. And also no room key to loose as its mounted to the door in a key safe which was i a quirky good idea.

Prior to booking the room, didnt know it was 5th floor, which was a shame. If we knew this we probably would have booked another room style with a view towards the square and sea front, rather than the roofs of other peoples homes. Window didnt have any latches to stay open, so during the night it slipped and slammed shut.

view was very nice, the room was clean and comfortable. The guy at the reception was very kind and available for any problems, i definitely recommend it!

I had a lovely stay there and was perfect for what needed and wanted even though I went there alone where originally I was going with my partner but it would have nice to have regular service and restaurant bar etc but It was so close to such and superb location so overall I very pleased and would be happy go there again by myself but not nessasaryly with another person bit I was very with my room and even though I didn't get a sea which I would preferred that's the only reason I gave It a 9 and a 10 rating

We had a wonderful experience during our stay at X Brunswick Square. From the moment we arrived, Abdul greeted us and went above and beyond to accommodate us. A special thank you to him at the front desk who, upon hearing that my parents would prefer a lower floor, graciously arranged a room change without hesitation. The room itself was cute, clean, spacious, and the high ceilings gave it such an airy and elegant feel. It truly made our stay all the more comfortable and enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this hotel!

We enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel was quiet when we stayed..the beach was literally 3min away..we ordered pizza came in 15min..good restaurants and people were really nice especially Tim the receptionist he was very helpful.

We didn't like having to drive around looking for parking we, which wasn't clearly mentioned by the hotel. But we paid £34 .48 at Regency Square 20 mins walk away from hotel..was good exercise..the WiFi isn't very good either 😕

Amazing stay! The hotel is nice and cosy, the four-poster bed was really cool. The whole place gives off a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. Our room was beautiful and comfy. The star of the hotel was definitely Tim. He patiently answered all my questions and did not mind my suspicious nature of a londoner (sorry about that Tim, I trust you now haha). Super friendly and helpful, always available and happy to help, which was such a lovely experience. He was happy to store our luggage from early morning and kept in communication with us all throughout. Exceptional service that you don't see that often. In terms of location, the hotel is in the perfect spot, close to the beach, shops, cafés, restaurants, and even a fruit market. Brighton is such a beautiful place. There is so much to do and the people are so lovely and kind. I am already thinking of planning another trip and we'll be staying here for sure. I highly recommend.

I booked this as an anniversary gift for my adult child and their partner. From beginning to end the staff were engaged, very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. They absolutely went the extra mile genuinely and sincerely. This is what my gift recipients had to say about their stay. The location is wonderful right on the beach front and so near many great shops and sights. The room and hospitality is to an incredible high standard and Tim was especially welcoming and so helpful. Would absolutely stay again made our anniversary very special. Thank you again for all your kindness to all the staff at the X Hotel.
