view was very nice, the room was clean and comfortable. The guy at the reception was very kind and available for any problems, i definitely recommend it!

I had a lovely stay there and was perfect for what needed and wanted even though I went there alone where originally I was going with my partner but it would have nice to have regular service and restaurant bar etc but It was so close to such and superb location so overall I very pleased and would be happy go there again by myself but not nessasaryly with another person bit I was very with my room and even though I didn't get a sea which I would preferred that's the only reason I gave It a 9 and a 10 rating

We had a wonderful experience during our stay at X Brunswick Square. From the moment we arrived, Abdul greeted us and went above and beyond to accommodate us. A special thank you to him at the front desk who, upon hearing that my parents would prefer a lower floor, graciously arranged a room change without hesitation. The room itself was cute, clean, spacious, and the high ceilings gave it such an airy and elegant feel. It truly made our stay all the more comfortable and enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this hotel!

Amazing stay! The hotel is nice and cosy, the four-poster bed was really cool. The whole place gives off a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. Our room was beautiful and comfy. The star of the hotel was definitely Tim. He patiently answered all my questions and did not mind my suspicious nature of a londoner (sorry about that Tim, I trust you now haha). Super friendly and helpful, always available and happy to help, which was such a lovely experience. He was happy to store our luggage from early morning and kept in communication with us all throughout. Exceptional service that you don't see that often. In terms of location, the hotel is in the perfect spot, close to the beach, shops, cafés, restaurants, and even a fruit market. Brighton is such a beautiful place. There is so much to do and the people are so lovely and kind. I am already thinking of planning another trip and we'll be staying here for sure. I highly recommend.

Nothing, the value for money is there.

I booked this as an anniversary gift for my adult child and their partner. From beginning to end the staff were engaged, very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. They absolutely went the extra mile genuinely and sincerely. This is what my gift recipients had to say about their stay. The location is wonderful right on the beach front and so near many great shops and sights. The room and hospitality is to an incredible high standard and Tim was especially welcoming and so helpful. Would absolutely stay again made our anniversary very special. Thank you again for all your kindness to all the staff at the X Hotel.

No complaints at all.

Me and my partner stayed here over the Brighton Marathon weekend, as the destination was close to the finish line. The hotel is usually all self check in/out with no staff however due to the busy weekend there was a really kind man at reception who was extremely friendly, funny and helped us with anything we needed. The room was nice, nothing extraordinarily special, but the bathroom was lovely and considering it is a seaside town, the water pressure for the shower was good. Also, the price for the room for 2 nights over such a busy weekend was really good value for the room we had.

The process for checking in was a bit weird, I didn’t really like the whole WhatsApp process for sending over your details over for a person you don’t know to tell you how to enter your room. It got to 3pm and I still hadn’t received any info on how to check in so had to send a few messages to the number until I got a response. However, this was made easier with the man on the reception when I stayed, but got a feeling he was only there due to the busy weekend. Also, I didn’t see any signs of a hot tub or spa as advertised, but I was aware of that before staying from previous reviews.

Best possible location: close to the sea and to interesting shops, buses and taxis. At the same time, there was very little exterior noise from traffic. Very charming building, and one of the best showers I have used in England

Even though staff responded quickly to WhatsApp messages, we still prefer flesh and blood receptionists on the premises.

Once I figured out how the digital check in and reception worked it was great. The people working at this place are very straightforward and direct whilst also being very easy to communicate with and assist. I asked for an extra night stay and within 15 minutes it was all sorted without having to leave my room.

It was everything I needed for a short stay in the area. Other guests have been loud but that is something you will get everywhere.

Friendly and helpful reception staff. As were the cleaning staff who I managed to have a basic Spanish conversation with.

4.30 a.m. there were very noisy guests in the basement flat for half an hour, My bed had a single mattress which was very old and saggy. When I lifted up the sheet and mattress protector I found it was a very old mattress with the bed springs exposed.

Spacious room, comfortable clean double bed, adequate if basic bathroom with Bath/shower option. Basic tea/coffee making facility.

Only downside was the old building as stairs noisy and water pipes and boilers made plenty of noise from as early as 6am when in use. Location on Hove border with Brighton was further out of Brighton but being half the price of central hotels made it worth the extra walking.
