Staff were really happy and pleased to see you and accommodated our needs in a pleasant and helpful way.

There were not a lot of comfortable seats inside to sit. Seating attached to Bar and restaurant, or in reception where people had lap tops and were working having loud phone calls on face time. I love dogs (we card for one) however, I did feel sitting in the restaurant with dogs sitting on the seats next to me when I had expensive clothes on was not acceptable. They should not be sitting on the seats no matter how small. If people want their dog to sit on the seats I feel there should be a designated area.

From all three things that I impressed me the most was the staff attitude, the old English waiter had such a friendly sense of humour that composed us pleasantly on our dinner. Emma in the morning sorted our breakfasts right away and gave us the best directions about the transport. Everyone working in the hotel were not in a hurry for us and gave attention beyond their duty. Thank you. The brand new hotel is huge, has comfortable large courtyard and excellently maintained. Hypermarket Sainsbury's is just next doors and the location is simply magnificent, nature all around and fresh clean countryside air.

Clean and modern. Spacious rooms with very comforable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Area seemed generally quite. Nice roof top bar. Astronomer restaurant nextdoor is very nice. Cafe, Sainsburys, and a field for walking the dog all very closeby.

They were having issues with the door keys, so they didn't always work, which meant we had to keep going back down to reception and change rooms a few times. The staff dealt with it as best they could though. £18 for breakfast felt a tad expensive - even if it is a buffet - so we went to a nice cafe nearby instead.

I had such a great experience at this hotel! The location is perfect—really central and close to everything, but still quiet and relaxing. It made getting around super easy. The room was beautiful and super comfortable—definitely felt luxurious without being over the top. Loved the little details and how clean and well-kept everything was. The best surprise was the restaurant—it was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a while! Dinner was amazing, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a mix of comfort, great food, and a perfect location. I’d definitely stay here again!

Excellent location. The accessible room we were in was spacious and clean. The hotel was very quiet especially at night time. The staff were very helpful.Public transport into the city was excellent.

The walk in bathroom had nowhere to hang clothes- they had to be placed on the floor. A few hooks would be useful. The tap over the basin was very difficult to operate as it was right under a shelf and was difficult to turn on and off as it kept hitting the shelf. The television was placed on the wall in a strange position- at right angles to the bed. The breakfast was good but I felt it was overpriced.

Although the hotel is located outside the city centre, in this case comfort is probably worth sacrificing the proximity. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and well furnished. The bathrooms are clean and comfortable. There is a possibility of renting a bike (complimentary, but requires a deposit) which I highly recommend and a large supermarket close by.

There is a limited number of restaurants in the neighborhood, so eating out may require some travelling - although the hotel restaurants are nice, too.

Clearly a very high class of hotel, so happy with the price we paid. It was conveniently located for our purpose, we got parking. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, very happy to address every issue. Had a small problem when we discovered sink was not draining at 10:00 PM and even though no maintenance staff were available, the receptionist himself came and sorted it out. Overall happy with our stay here, and if we can get same rates, would stay here everytime.

Nothing much to dislike. We didn't go for room service, but I remember thinking there were not too many vegetarian options. Maybe we could look into that

The Hyatt Centric in Cambridge is a spunky, accommodating and comfortable hotel to stay in. Due to the weather, I wasn't able to check out the rooftop bar, but the restaurant 'The Astronomer' had a great ambiance and very kind staff. My room was charming and classy, with a very comfortable bed.

The location of the hotel is quite a way out of Cambridge's center and train station: half an hour with the bus for the center, 45 minutes to the train station. Keep this in mind while booking; however, there is the possibility of renting bikes at Hyatt, and the bus stops right in front of the hotel.

The hotel is very smart, modern, clean and comfortable but the best thing by far are the super friendly and helpful staff. My mum and I were so well looked after by receptionist Robyn, she was so lovely and couldn't have done more for us! The hotel is a little out of town but right on the electric bus route and we were even given freebie return travel on the bus which was a lovely unexpected bonus!

The only drawback is you really need to secure parking before arrival, it's not guaranteed so you can't just turn up by car and rely on a space being available.

the room was lovely, spacious and a great bathroom/shower. in room iron and full-size ironing board very useful. good quality Bluetooth speaker. free bike rentals (£100 deposit only) was so useful as the hotel is a little too far outside town to walk. the bus is on the doorstep. Allowed a late check-out for free. I did not use the gym or restaurants, but the decor looked very nice.

Some stains (? bleach) on the carpet. there is a kettle with instant coffee, rather than more usual espresso machine. I was overcharged at check in but his was corrected quickly once I notified them.
