The staff were lovely and really helpful. The location is really good, not too noisy and well placed if you don't mind a bit of a walk into Cambridge centre and other attractions. The rooms are spacious with good storage and were very clean. Would definitely stay here again, but would try the restaurant next time as the food smelled delicious. We managed to park as we visited out of season, however spaces are limited so might struggle when the hotel is busy. There is parking for blue badge holders at the front, but again the spaces are limited.

The shower wasn't very good. As far as we were concerned, this was the only down side.

Nice, clean and spacious room. Walking distance to Coop, 2 others groceries store and bus stop. Also near to train station, about 10 minutes walking. Opposite Coop, there are Halal food store named Chicken Rush. For those who looking for Halal food you can visit there. We love stay here because this hotel located quite center to almost every things. A bit further there are tesco and other shops. Staff also nice and very helpful. In addition, the hotel is also within walking distance (a pleasant 10-30 minute walk) to the Cambridge Mosque, the Traditional Punting station and several other attractions. Overall, we are very happy to have found this hotel to stay.

Heater in bathroom maybe not function during our stay that make our bathroom floor a bit cold.

Staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. Couldn’t do enough for us. The room was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable on the firm side which is better for your back so I didn’t wake up achy. Ample free parking at hotel. Good location 20 min walk to Addenbrookes and 30 min walk to Cambridge central and to riverside. Buses very nearby so we walked to Addenbrookes then got a bus into city - saw all the beautiful old buildings. Cost £2 each. Saved all the hassle of parking at Addenbrookes and city centre.

Excellent location - very close to our concert venue of Cambridge Junction, with plenty of choice when we wanted a restaurant (Savour closed as it was a Tuesday evening) (and good bus services to get into the city centre if you don't want to walk). Spotlessly clean and comfortable - loved the mattress! Tea and coffee making provided in the rooms, as were toiletries. Friendly staff, who were kind enough to upgrade us from a twin to two double rooms - my daughter was delighted!

The decor is looking a little tired - scuffs on the skirting board and wall paper, for example - but nothing that would stop me from booking here again if we return to Cambridge.

The room is pretty clean and comfortable, especially the beddings and toilets. Staffs are friendly and helpful, I was late for the check in time but the staffs still picked up my call at late night and gave me instructions to self-check in. Good location, this is no doubt a cheaper but decent option if you want to stay at a nice place that is closer to Cambridge University.

The hotel is classic style and older than other hotels, so the soundproofing is not very good and sometimes you can hear the floor cracking as other people walk through the corridors.

great location, very kind staff, room was really nice and equipment was lovely. exactly what i wanted :-)

not a problem for me but some people would like to know, the walls are very thin so it can get a bit noisy if other guests are inconsiderate. thankfully this wasn't the case for my stay, but you can hear everything in the rooms around.

The hotel is clean and quiet, and the receptionist was very helpful in explaining how to get to rare parking, which is a bit of a puzzle to get to unless you know where to go.

Getting to the hotel, in the front parking there was a builders van obstructing half of the parking. And it was challenging to drive out of there in the morning, the traffic was heavy

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and since my last day the owners have rejuvenated and redecorated the bedrooms certainly the one that I was allocated with. The bedroom had everything I needed and was quiet and as always, the staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but that was not a concern for me as there are tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Decor could do with updating Lack of shelves in bathroom for toiletries. Checkout time was on the earlier side, at 10am. Hotel will serve a continental breakfast for an extra charge, but breakfast is not included in the rates.

The location was perfect, private parking, the bedroom was slightly small for a double bedroom but beautiful en-suite, clean, and lovely staff. We were fortunate that the room was ready and they allowed us an early check in.

The room was a slightly smaller than we thought it would be , but wasn’t really an issue as we were only there for one night.
