The room was spotless, so clean and felt so comfortable as soon as you walked in. Tea and coffee in the room is a nice touch. The views were amazing and the location is brilliant for walking and sightseeing.

I was a little worried about no food option for our stay but literally 2 mins walk away is a lovely pub that has a huge selection from breakfast through to tea and with so many pubs and restaurants to choose from in the area you will never go hungry.

Location was fantastic and the room was nicely sized. Clean & well proportioned room with fantastic large bed, massive smart TV, 2 chairs and desk space, massive wet room - tea & coffee making facilities and a fridge! Discount on breakfast at the Cheshire Cheese Inn and wide selection of eateries. Walks from the door to Lose Hill and up to Mam Tor with the more quiet option return passing Rowntree farm, past Peveril Castle via Cavedale.

The parking is spot on. It’s easy to find and the key access is simple. The location is central to amenities and walking routes. The room is lovely and totally spotless. Bathroom very modern and lovely crisp towels too. Had a small issue with the TV but spoke to owner Stacey and it was sorted within seconds. You would never know it was a dog friendly place. No trace of dogs ever being in the room. Stacey the owner is delightful. Very happy with this accommodation and will most definitely return. An absolute gem.

The correspondence via email before we arrived was very informative. You check in yourself, which went smoothly due to this. The apartment was lovely and clean with great views and an enormous tv and bed. It was also in a prime location, near to everything.

We happened to be there in a mini heatwave, which was great, but we could have done with a fan in the room. However, that sort of weather is rare, so it is only a very small gripe.

Beautiful, clean, modern, had everything we needed. Right in the centre. Great views. Fab TV. Great wet room facilities. Would definitely come back and also recommend.

We have it 9/10. For 10/10 it just needed the back external window frame cleaning as a couple of spider webs. But it does back onto fields. Just need to make sure the window is in the cleaning regime. Everything internal was absolutely spotless.

Great location and views. Easy access to the village and attractions beyond. Large apartment, very clean and kitted out with quality furniture and fitments. Free parking space for one car. Helpful advice and instructions provided by the owners. 10% off breakfast at the Cheshire Cheese pub opposite the Mews which can be recommended.

Could perhaps do with more shelves in the bathroom

It was clean and warm when we arrived. Had everything we needed for our one night stay. Also dog friendly ! (Bonus)

There wasn’t anything I disliked about it, I do feel it might benefit from having a curtain added so that you can close off the bedroom area in the cold winter months. It did get abit drafty over from the front door area and also the light outside came on during the night which was visible from inside the room. Not a criticism! It was a great stay :)

Breakfast was at a pub, Cheshire Cheese just across the road, it was excellent, 10% off price as was staying at Cheshire Mews so price for breakfast just £10. Parking right outside door in a private car park.

During my weekend stay there was a problem with WI-FI, so no Wi-Fi during stay, however it was no-ones fault, a pole had fallen over, just unfortunate, when issue resolved free Wi-Fi is available.

Convenient central location in Castleton, quiet and peaceful as set well back from the road. Good views, spacious room, luxurious bathroom, big comfy bed, great for our overnight stay.

There are several rooms in the Mews, all ‘dog friendly’, so I recommend one room should be kept ‘dog free’ to make the Mews non discriminatory and inclusive for those with dog allergies etcetera.

A really lovely place in a brilliant but quiet location. Yards from shops/pubs. Views out of the window spectacular over the 'Tors'. The room was lovely, very modern and very clean. Bed was really really comfortable. Will definitely return here. Also Ye olde Cheshire cheese across the road gives you 10% discount off breakfast and is fantastic. I also loved that I could park right outside our room.
