We was able to check in early, given directions on a nice walk into Crediton. The room was comfortable with facilities needed for a nights stay. The breakfast was lovely with milk straight from the cows in the village, warmed croissant waiting for us for scheduled breakfast time. Good service and friendly staff.

Decor could do with brightening up, colour of the room was a bit dull. Just a personal preference but didn't affect my stay. ( I should have packed a make up light).

We booked at the last minute for New Year’s Eve night on the way back home after spending Xmas with family. The Lamb was pretty and welcoming from the outside and when we walked through the door we couldn’t have wished for more. A roaring log fire, beams, lovely old furniture and such a welcoming atmosphere. We chose the Lamb as it was dog friendly and we had our little dog with us . It was definitely dog friendly with lots of people having afternoon drinks with their dogs very well behaved. Our room was right above the bar which was excellent .Great filter coffee and biscuits. Gorgeous room and very comfortable bed. Even though it was New Year’s Eve a lovely menu of food was available early evening. After having a wonderful meal and desert, the evenings entertainment began and the pub filled up with what I would imagine were mainly locals. As the pub was in a very rural village I can’t imagine too many people travelling far on December 31st. Next morning breakfast was in the bar on a big wooden table next to a lovely open fire. Amazing croissants and wonderful toast as well as an array of help yourself continental breakfast delights. We felt so welcomed and had the best time ever. Definitely worth a return visit.

Couldn’t fault our stay at the Lamb. I have a feeling our satnav took us down the most rural roads ever and although I don’t mind rural roads some of these were no more than a track full of potholes.

From the moment you walked into the Inn you were greeted by vicky and nick..the room was very clean and cosy.the food was very good .the atmosphere was brilliant a lovely village inn. Highly recommended. Both days were a credit to vicky and nick..let's hope we can make a return visit. Keep up the excellent work. Many thanks for looking after us .regards Alan and Linda Imlach.

Nothing to dislike.

The food was great & the staff very friendly. The room also had a French press for proper coffee. I would defiantly stay there again.

Breakfast's only option was a continental, no hot food like egg on toast available. Parking was also a problem, community parking was quite a walk especially with heavy luggage.

Characterful little pub with rooms in a separate building. I had a 'Small double' room which was definitely smaller than the average double but had an en suite and a rail to hang up clothes, so had everything you needed really.

The parking was a bit challenging as the pub is on a narrow residential street lined by terrace houses. However the Landlord came out and helped me with a space & even offered to move his car so that I could park which was very nice of him & good customer service.

The room was beautiful; it felt really luxurious and spacious, especially with the free standing bath in the far side of the room. There was decent coffee in the room too, always a bonus! Nick was really friendly and helpful, and was happy to help with the many questions we had. We will be staying again and recommending to family and friends.

Nick the landlord was great, and looked after us very well. It is cosy and welcoming - dogs too - perfect village pub, with lovely rooms. We would strongly recommend. Great place to stay and explore the area.

Very friendly and welcoming to my pet and me. Lovely quite and cosy country feeling with a roaring fire in the hearth. Good warm bedroom with comfortable bed. Fabulous dinner. The menu was different from many hostelries, which was a pleasure. I had the beef and mushroom with mash potato, proper creamed mashed potato.

The accommodation is set in a quant village of tiny lanes. Beware, there is not a car park and it was not possible to park outside on the narrow roads on this occasion. An email regarding parking came after booking telling me I could park at the village hall which was quite some distance away, uphill from the accommodation. Not so good if you have luggage a dog and dog bed to carry back down, the hill and on this occasion, icy lane. Then up the hill again in the morning. When I checked out, I did leave my luggage behind to pick up, once I had returned to my car. Beware of the school run!

The ease of check-in, the building's character, the quality and taste of the food was exceptional, as was the attentive service. Our two dogs were made to be very welcome. We would love to return.

Limescale in the kettle, cafetiere needed replacing (coffee sachets would be fine enough), one towel had a large stain on it. These are very minor points mentioned, as everything else about the Lamb Inn was great!

Convenient to Crediton and lovely individual rooms.

No parking. But there was a public car park a short walk away. Would have liked the option to include breakfast in the price. There was nowhere local to get breakfast.
