Clean and functional accommodation with all the usual. Tea / Coffee makings. A TV. En suite ablutions. Once in your room you can come and go as you please through a separate door to the street, however to book in you will need to do it at the pubs bar.

For some reason the washbasin in the room wasn't a standard size although there was room for one. It was small and of a size more likely to be found in a downstairs privvy.

The location was good for access to the town center and university, the Quay is a good walk away; ideal if walking off a meal. Large variety of pubs and restaurants nearby with shops 5 minutes walk away. There is a public car park immediately behind the Farmers this is owned by the council, if want to park all day best use the ring and go app. There was an ensuite to our twin room together with a kettle and beverage goods.

Room decor and furnishings are basic, I was told they did good food, well there was nothing to complain about but nothing to write about either.

Really good value for what it is, great location, with good food and excellent service. Ivan, who seemed to be covering a number of roles, was so friendly and helpful-- I can't praise him highly enough. Very decent vegan options, choice of drinks, and a pool table in the bar.

It was a bit noisy, being so central (though thankfully not during the night), and quite basic, but I honestly don't think you'd get more for your money. One of the flushes on the toilets wasn't working optimally (you had to pump it) and some wiring in the room looked like it needed attention, but these are minor shortcomings. It was a bit weird checking in at the bar and signage would've been helpful as we weren't the only arriving guests unsure of where to go.

Very friendly staff and door supervisors very accommodating and knowledgeable about the local area. I.e where we were able to go and socialise with good people good food and good local sourced drinks

The pictures on the website for a twin bedroom looked a lot bigger!!!! I understand that everyone takes pictures of their best rooms but I would say in the pictures take pictures of all the rooms and maybe put up that you cannot guarantee which rooms that you will get unless you contact urselfs directly.it’s only a thought as I booked off of booking.com

Comfy room, firm mattress and pillows, good shower. Room cleaned daily, replenished tea, coffee, milk. Friendly, helpful staff. 15 min stroll from St David's station. Enjoyed taking evening meals there and the bar City centre, museum and cathedral nearby Recommend it!

No quibbles. No early breakfast option but plenty of cafes etc nearby.

It was comfortable, close to all amenities and everything within a short walk.

There was nothing to say that was bad about the property.Perhaps only thing was it could be a little noisy with the traffic and occasional night club passers by but otherwise was a great place to be based to explore Torbay and surrounding area.

The location is central and we felt comfortable. Special mention must be made of Michael. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had a good stay and went out of his way to help us with our very early morning departure! Thank you, Michael.

The single criticism that we must mention is temperature. Yes, it was bitterly cold on the night of our stay but we were absolutely frozen. There was one small heater in the room which simply wasn’t man enough for the job.

The staff were wonderful and welcoming, the location is perfect. Easy to get in and out, you don't have to go through the pub entrance every time. A pleasant view. They had instant coffee and other bits which is always a very nice surprise and boost in the morning.

Extra blankets, I was a bit cold at night. It was also noisy because there's a pub downstairs but mind that we were staying on a weekend.

A thumping was heard in the room above the room I stayed in, it was worthy of investigation, whilst I found there was no room above mine I thought it was an interesting noise. I noticed some strange characters walking on the other side of the road out of the window as I was to note the thumping stopped. I think that if any ghosts are to be born they are not being exorcised, but are reproducing themselves in the body, where they are not correctly exorcised. The next day I left early and did not have the opportunity to see how the hotel was coping. I trust that the ghosts which escaped in to the body as by hijacking the union, did not have a type of curse which is that they find it plausible to escape from the hotel as ghosts, them in the flesh, that they feel to reduce the value of the building because they felt it was their prison. Many consider that the management of the ghosts and the spirit, is in hand, yet it is not it is out of hand and it is not managed correctly. This note has nothing to do with the hotel reception which was excellent, nor the agreeable service offered to help, nor the real nature of the hotels wonderful views and position. Wonderful as it is a city building with a pleasant outlook. The ghosts do not serve any one but them selves, so sadly I did not find that the keys to enjoy platform in Exeter were available. Hotels normally link up all the ground of the city, in a way which does not lynch the true city as private houses do. If it did it was a quiet night for me and I slept well despite the ghost.

The location. Basic but very clean and comfortable single room with more than adequate bathroom. The staff were so helpful, particularly the guy from Croatia and the others with directions and airport transport. Shame I didn't have time for a pint or two downstairs in the pub, which was lovely, welcoming and has a pool table...
