This beautiful property is really well situated a close walk to both train stations. It is so pretty and well maintained - it is like stepping back in time and a welcome change from certain chain hotels. The staff are super friendly and there are even homemade cookies on the counter at reception. So many opulent seating areas in the foyer/bar area and the rooms are each personal and period in style- it was so relaxing. Dark and atmospheric - this gave a brilliant nights sleep - the beds are very comfy. There is a council car park right out front which has free Blue Badge parking or £11 all day. And the breakfast…wow! Fruits, yoghurts and nuts like you would expect at a health spa. Then different juices, I had decaf coffee (in a cafetière too) a good selection of cooked options- the cooked breakfast was hot, good quality and delicious. Croissants and toast too. It was sublime. A great way to end our stay. Loved it and will be back.
Absolutely nothing; just be prepared for lots of original features if you’re used to generic branded hotels - the stairs creak a little and are slightly leaned (there is a lift) There was no air con as far as I’m aware but the windows open onto a beautiful leafy suburb where the birds sing.

Everything I needed was available at a very reasonable price, and everyone I met was obliging. That included a daily breakfast from a kitchen that knew how to cook both poached and scrambled eggs properly (pretty rare). The location was close enough to the main station and to the city centre.
The room as a whole (bathroom included) was pretty dreary and dated, so whilst it was comfortable it was not as "cosy" as I'd hoped. However the presence of a small bar/lounge helped. The bed, although comfortable enough, was more than usually obvious as two single beds joined together - I could feel the join!

Staff were very friendly and accommodating prior to and during our stay. The hotel is decorated very well, and the beds are comfy. The reception had complimentary homemade cookies on arrival, which were delicious! Breakfast was great and plentiful, with fresh flowers on the tables, which was a lovely touch. Easy walking distance into town and Exeter St. Davids/Central train stations. Would recommend and hope to be back.
Not the hotel's problem and this is made clear before arrival. Parking isn't easy in Exeter, we were lucky and managed to do a few laps around the block and car park located outside the hotel and finally got a space.

Antique furniture stuff was very good. Lift was working no noise from other rooms close to train station walking distance for transport busses train location walking distance just few mints walk to train shops coffee restaurant it's convenient for location no hanger in the room to hang coat clock was not working too dark furniture
Room painted colour too dark and warm light carpet every single place hotel to apartment house people have carpet still leaving in victory world now Ai discover unfortunately people still leave in victoriana time no filter kettle no hard floor radiator once people do hard floor 10 years no need to replace cheaper flooring long terms investment .

It is very well situated for Exeter centre and for us walking further away from the centre to visit family. An attractive building Very friendly helpful staff. They went over and above . Very good breakfasts with plenty of choice The three different rooms we stayed in were a good size We found the beds comfortable On the whole it was quiet as set back from the road
If I was being picky it is a little tired in places, chipped wood or paintwork but general wear and tear from lots of different people. If carrying suitcases is difficult for you ask for rooms below the top floor as the lift reaches the first two floors We didn’t need to park but if we had the carpark was full by 7pm when we returned

The staff at Queens Court Hotel were all exceptional. So welcoming, friendly and hard working. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and well taken care of. It isn’t a modern hotel, but clean and had the amenities needed. In a good location, on a quiet street, within short walking distance to Exeter Central rail station. It was good value. Breakfast in the morning was made to order, wonderful and so delicious and we enjoyed it very much. We had to leave before breakfast one day and the front desk staff put together a take away breakfast with fruit, baked goods and water. It was so appreciated!
We stayed on the 3rd floor so had to walk up a flight of stairs with luggage but staff did offer to help us (we didn’t have a lot). The lift only goes to the 2nd floor. The only thing we can find fault was the property is so old that the floors are not level and in our room the floors were so unlevel that we felt we were going to fall out of bed if we rolled. It made for 2 restless nights (we each tried sleeping in the single bed for one night before reporting it as we were staying 4 nights). Staff was quick to bring another mattress, but that wasn’t the problem. My husband ended up putting books under the bed on the one side, bringing the bed up to level and all was good. We would stay again at this hotel, but perhaps in a different room.

Very close to stations, very close to the centre. Lovely staff. The building seems to have been previously a hotel back in the day. feels like staying in a vintage store. The decoration is a bit a lot ( my room had 12 paintings on the wall) but I found it very homey and cute. The wifi was wifing, an the staff were all super accommodating. Very clean- Monica Clean! and breakfast was made on order & yummy.
As this is an old building, you have the occasional uneven floor. Bed mattress too soft for me.

Very clean and tidy. Well equipped and in a good location for visiting Exeter. No free parking but easy pay and display opposite. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Easy booking in and lovely view from room. Nice and quiet - very little traffic noise. Breakfast was superb. I'd use again.
Shower screen in our room still let water onto floor. Bedside table only on one side - again , in our room, probably only space for one. Room was small but perfectly adequate. Kettle nice one but when boiling spilled onto table.

The room was huge and comfortable. The location was excellent and everything was walkable! The staff was very helpful and for the first time ever, my luggage was removed from storage and moved to my room, so I didn’t have to move it myself! That was very thoughtful and appreciated. Breakfast was lovely.
The light in the bathroom could not be turned off/ on. It automatically turned on when it sensed motion. With the light came the noisy fan. I would appreciate a light in the bathroom that has a switch that I can control! It was very annoying at night to have the blazing lights and the fan activated when I used the bathroom at 2 am!!!

The Queens Court Hotel is in a quiet square, within walking distance of Exeter St. Davies station and the city centre. The old building is very well maintained. Our room was spacious, with a large window overlooking the square. The bed was very comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep. Breakfast included a buffet part and an extensive list of dishes on request, from the typical English breakfast, through delicious Eggs Benedict with salmon or ham, to specialities as simple as an omelette, freshly prepared and very plentiful. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive, always ready to adapt the menu to our wishes. We highly recommend this hotel.
