A wonderful getaway in the countryside, surrounded by farms (complete with swallows and bats nesting in the eaves of the house, and hens in the garden). The suite was perfect for comfort and privacy within the family, with the bathroom separating the two bedrooms. The hosts were all very friendly and welcoming. A perfect base from which to explore the county. Great shower too!

It's not a negative, but a note - the access is much easier if you approach the farm from the south (coming past a pub called the Fisherman's Cot), because from the north the road (called Visitor's Hill) is a single track and requires a lot of pulling into verges and reversing when meeting oncoming vehicles.

If you go to Devon England, be sure to experience something nice and pristine. You've all watched Fireman Sam, The Shoe People, Percy The Part Keeper, Postman Pat or Shaun the Sheep and this place kind of reminds you of all those cartoons. You just feel like at home with all the hospitality of the owners. Rooms are very nice, spacious, modern and cozy. I'd go back at this very moment.

There is nothing I can come up with. The local road might lead you through some narrow shrubbery corridors, but luckly there is almost no traffic there.

We felt very welcome as soon as we arrived. Bev and her husband were amazing. The location is absolutely beautiful and we wished we were staying longer. The room was very spacious and clean, and the view was to die for. This was a last-minute booking due to another place not securing our booking, but it will definitely be our first choice from now on. Thanks for the great stay.

There was nothing to dislike for us.

Property is really nice and clean and we got all facilities and property it’s surrounded by hills , farms and deer farm (lots of deers) and it’s perfect natural beautiful place and very quiet and awesome place to stay … host is very cool and she give us information about surrounding areas and she arranged nice breakfast… 10/10 … Beth you provided best services … we are highly recommended this place and hopefully we will make plan soon at the same property.

Everything is just fabulous

On my approach to the Farmhouse I was captivated by the stunning views and natural aura surrounding it. Beautiful!!

Knowing that my stay will not be long enough!

The B&B is outstanding. It is settled within the countryside and you get the feeling to be in the middle of nowhere. Everything is just gorgeous at the B&B. The rooms are very charming and the breakfast gives you strenght for the day. Homemade jam, marmelade and granola are waiting for you!

The quiet location, peaceful

We were in a classic car so the lane to the property was not ideal for us but fine in an everyday car. Just a couple of small observations, we would have liked a lock on the outside of the room. The riser rail in the shower was situated a little too high for us.

Lovely B&B in a beautiful and scenic location in a deer farm. The views from the farm were amazing. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. Good breakfast. Cosy rooms and comfortable beds. We loved our stay there.

Nothing significant. Would have liked a little bit more options for breakfast, but the hosts offered even more than was in the room description on booking anyway.
