Overall Padbrook Park is very good, as you turn up the drive to the hotel the hotel and grounds stretch out before you, very neat lawns and trees driveway clean and in good condition, well laid out parking all clearly marked, the entrance to the hotel is clean and very tidy, this is the 8th hotel we've stayed in this year and by far the best, the breakfast is very good and the evening meal we had also for, our room was easy to get to a good size clean and well laid out with a nice bathroom, a nice seating area outside with tables and chairs good service and very helpful staff.

The dining room furniture is a bit tired, upholstery on the chairs in the has seen better day's, and that is really the only problem at the hotel, Cullompton town is very tired and in need of a real make over, lots of empty buildings very sad state of affairs.

The staff are wonderful - friendly, helpful and really accommodating - nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast plus able to accommodate our complex dietary needs. Comfortable beds - the mattress wasn’t rock hard unlike most hotels. Clean and spacious bathroom - we had an accessible room which was fantastic for our needs. Great location for exploring this part of Devon. Good access to the motorway, yet a very peaceful site.

Nothing! Other reviewers have said the decor is tired, and yes, perhaps the dining chairs need replacing. However, I think that’s less important than a comfortable, clean room with good food and excellent service.

The location, easy 2 to 3 minute walk for bus 373 for Tiverton Parkway train station, Tiverton and Exeter. And number 1 bus... The hotel is spacious. Excellent top notch food. Chef great cook. Breakfast big and plenty. Or choose continental at the buffet bar. Leisure facilities free to paying guests. The village library is just a few minutes walk with a cafe, , and lots to explore in the village. Hotel Staf are friendly and polite. Rooms clean, and tea, coffee in room. Laundry service, a list of taxis in your room should you want to use the swevice. Everything to enjoy, and safe for kids to play. Dogs are welcome. It's just such a lovey place. Staff very nice. Leisure facilities free to paying guests.. Food is delicious.. I went in mid February, it rained a bit but some good days too. Buy big brolly for 3.49 from Home Bargains next to ALDI. Its all on your doorstep there to relax and enjoy

I can't think of anything that I didn't like. It was all great.

A very spacious place in beautiful grounds. Large car parking area on site. The room was a good size with a modern clean bathroom. Breakfast was substantial with a good range of food to eat and a freshly cooked option. Dinner was also very well presented. The housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. Handy for visiting Exeter.

a few small points. There was no lid on the w.c. Not certain whether that is because it was an access room. Breakfast coffee on our first morning was very strong, too much so for us - we had tea after this. The room was quite cold at night time, which was noticeable as the day time had been warm. The mattresses on the beds were quite soft.

Amazing stay at Padbrook hotel. All of the staff are welcoming and very polite and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The room was big, bright and airy with lovely views. Bed linen is the softest and so comfy. Amazing shower and lovely jacuzzi bath . Food was amazing and breakfast was very yummy. All the staff went above and beyond, from Reception, cleaners, bar, kitchen, waitresses and waiters. We were staying for one night for a wedding , but we extended our stay as we loved it so much. Will be back. Thank you for a lovely day.

The hotel was lovely staff very friendly and even set up a table in the bar so our dog could join us. Ground very well maintained and clean and tidy. Room very comfortable.

Breakfast could have been better but we were down late as most people had already eaten or were finishing. No Greek yogurt left only a few spoonfuls cooked breakfast was good though.

There wasn’t much fresh breakfast provided by 9am! Fried eggs were brought out way undercooked, I couldn’t eat them. A disappointing breakfast considering the price paid for the room. We also ate in Ripleys on the Friday night. My husband had the curry which was okay but I had the fish pie. It was watery, not creamy with pieces of fish! The fish had long since dissolved in the water. It was served with tepid frozen vegetables on the side. Sadly, when we paid £100 for dinner, it was a great shame not to have enjoyed it! Sorry to provide negative feedback, not often I do, but feel it needs to be shared with you. It does only reflect on the food, not the accommodation itself.

We have stayed here several times now over the years and will continue to do so. The staff are lovely - they are always in a good mood, relaxed and professional, which points to some excellent management and owners. The staff are clearly proud of their hotel (often to be seen cleaning grubby marks off walls from kids or dogs!) and everything is well maintained. The food is excellent at all times of the day and the bar is a genuinely relaxing place to sip a glass of wine and read a book or have a chat. The outdoor play area is great for kids too. The hotel is very dog-friendly, while keeping the restaurant dog-free for those who prefer not to share their meals with dogs (fair enough!). There is a disused golf course behind the hotel where dogs can really stretch their legs too, and there are a few poo bins around the perimeter of the hotel.

The only minor quibble is that the shower - while powerful and hot - has the head set a bit too low so you have to lean backwards to get your head under it (and I'm only 5'9") but that's a very minor thing. Nothing else to moan about!

Lovely setting and having s room on ground floor was a bonus! Good breakfast in the morning.

You cannot drive up to entrance of hotel to drop off bags like most hotels and the day we arrived we had to squeeze into the overflow car park as there was a major event going on in the hotel ( A Wake) so we had to make several journées with our bags. There was no one on reception and it was so noisy with all the people in the wake , we tried calling reception with our mobiles bug no reply so had to go and find a member of staff at bar . The Wake continued until the evening and was still very noisy when we had our evening meal there

The bed was very soft and comfortable. Breakfast had good selections of food, could possibly add some black pudding. I booked 5 rooms for my relatives to stay 2 nights at your hotel. Overall we were satisfied and happy. However I have to mention this. We had dinner in your Ripley's Restaurant on our first night. The food was excellent! From starters to the main course and desserts. This was beyond our expectations. Compliments to the chef. The waiters/waitresses were very friendly too.

The bathroom/toilet needs some form of renovation. The fittings need changing, rather old.
