I recently stayed at No 18 Apartment in Exeter and overall, I would rate my experience an 8 out of 10. The apartment was clean, spacious, and located fantastically, making it a great choice for families and couples.
However, during my stay, I encountered issues with the room heater not working properly and a lack of hot water in the tap in my room. I informed the landlord about these issues, and he promptly apologized and assured me that steps would be taken to ensure such problems wouldn't occur in the future. Additionally, he kindly offered me a discount on my next booking as a gesture of goodwill. I truly appreciated the landlord's prompt response and gracious behavior, which has made me inclined to choose this apartment again in the future.

Beautiful old building recently renovated. Right in the middle of town. My room (no 7) was quite spacious and well laid out with nice modern fixtures and fittings and kitchen utensils. Property manager was very responsive.
Sadly, I was cold most of the time. Although the heating was modern, the old building has not been insulated well. There is an external door (with air gaps) right next to the bed and the lovely big original Georgian windows are single glazed. (This might have been a planning restriction). I’m sure in summer this place would be lovely, but it was down to 2 degrees the weekend I stayed.

Spacious--big enough to leave the ironing board up. Well equipped. Everything is pretty new IKEA grade. Having a washing machine/dryer during a long stay is a huge plus. Great location for working in the city and using its amenities (I was at the University).
Not a big deal, but there was no daily housekeeping as specified in the ad; it was tidied, and I got one change of towels during a two week stay. The bare minimum of consumables, like shampoo and paper towels, were left; you needed to get anything for more than two days yourself. But it is not a hotel. So, I wasn't put off. I could never figure out how to get the heat turned on. It was more complex than getting the boiler to the right mode. I did not ask either. But it was chilly.

It was very close to City Centre ,but it was a quite location , the apartment was spotless and furnished really nicely .The kitchen was well equipped and easy to use appliances .The bedroom was big with a lovely comfortable bed with good quality linen .The bathroom was more than adequate and had the towels provided here a good size as in bath sheet so good coverage !. The apartment was immaculately clean and the text message was prompt so that we got access to the property quickly .Also parking was great right outside as I booked it at the same time as booking the rooms .

Excellent location easy to get to town. Spacious. Had 2 nice sized bedrooms each with their own bathroom. TV in bedrooms and lounge. Parking on site. Dishwasher and washing machine great for longer stays. Surprisingly quiet and on the ground floor.
We were not happy with the non stick pans as coating was coming off, some of the baking pans were rusty. Shower heads and hose were in need of a deep clean. On the whole it was a good place to stay.

Excellent location. Good sized apartment. Comfortable bed. Microwave, fridge/freezer, oven, hob, kettle, toaster, washing machine and dishwasher. Hanging space (in main room not bedroom). Very quiet except for the occasional seagull outside the window. Apologies for the photos as they were screenshots taken from a video.
No iron/ironing board. I did request one after arriving but the initial email was returned as I had not communicated before. I resent it. The owner did respond a day later and said someone would drop them off - which they did but I had already gone out and bought a travel iron as I needed it that day before going out. Some maintenance was carried out - I could tell as an adjustable spanner was left behind on the coffee table and the missing panels beneath the shower tray had been fitted - without informing me and it wasn't cleaned up particularly well... no vacuum cleaner used as I could feel and see small particles on the bathroom floor. A more informative description of the main entrance location would have been helpful as it is through an archway and obscured by greenery.

Good position for main town and generally to get around. Great to have off street parking. Nice to have a washer/dryer for laundry for a longer stay.
Facilities in the apartment are basic but adequate for simple self catering. Basic condiments would be nice. New iron is required (for those daft enough to iron on holiday) and a clothes drying rack would be useful. Stairs only to reach the apartment so pack light!

Close to city centre, clean, great parking, nice comfy bed. Front view over car park quite pleasant .
Back bedroom looks out on a rather tired conservatory roof and an ugly tall block which overlooks the property. Lack of any instructions to work the heating/ appliances- would be nice to have a welcome pack to include these and fire regulations, brochures and leaflets about places to visit.

Really clean, super efficient and easy check in system. Was kind enough to let us park for a a few more hours after check out. Really central location which was perfect for us to explore Exeter.
Noise from the nightclub around the corner during the Saturday night. It was quite warm so we had the window open, and it is a central location so we did understand noise would be unavoidable! Tap in the kitchen area was dripping.

Access to the city was very convenient, and facilities in the apartment were of a high standard. Overall, it is excellent value for money.
Noise from locals was very loud, and the locality right next to a public house, although convenient if you wanted a drink, meant that noise levels were high till the early hours of the morning. Double glazing might be beneficial as all windows were single panes.
