Kim & Tim were perfect hosts, from our welcome on day 1 to our departure on day 4, and they couldn't do enough for us. The farm is very rural and located in a central area of Devon and perfect if you want to explore the county. The room we had was large and had plenty of facilities, with a large en-suite too. The views over the farmland were beautiful. The breakfast was lovely, having a huge choice of options for either your Full English, serials or toast. Overall, our stay was perfect for what we wanted, and to get away from London. Thanks Kim & Tim, we will be back!

Nothing, everything was perfect!

A warm welcome from the hosts, Kim and Tim, was just the beginning of our perfect stay. From the scones and jam to the little details like fresh flowers, bottles of water, sweeties, biscuits and tea and coffee in the room. The views surrounding the property were beautiful and if you like wild life watching - plenty to spot. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and pillows, spotlessly clean and serviced every day. Nothing seemed too much trouble - a real home from home. Cooked breakfasts were made to order and to your liking. Different cereals, breads, porridge and fruit and yogurt if you desired. Kim’s kindness was exceptional and she spent time getting to know us and suggest places to visit and eat. A lovely genuine lady who works hard and deserves the top ratings that she gets!

Everything, as soon as we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. It was all the little touches that made it so special. Kim and Tim made us feel like friends and are the perfect hosts. It is a lovely remote property and it was a clear night whilst we were there and managed to see a shooting star. It’s great for anyone interested in astronomy as there is no light bleed. The rooms are extremely spacious and has everything you need, a home from home! This is a perfect stay if you want to get away from it all.

What did we like....EVERYTHING!! I cannot find one 'single thing' to commend as Kim and Tim excelled beyond any expectations we had. An Outstanding experience (so much so we will be returning for an annual visit where life allows it!). Kim and Tim are amazing hosts, and are genuine decent people - incredibly homely and kind. Henbere Farm ticked all the boxes of a quaint, remote, peaceful relaxing stay. Spotlessly clean and immaculate throughout. Absolutely what the doctor ordered. We are a couple in our 40's who went to Devon to see a Bon Jovi Tribute band at the Brewhouse Theatre in Taunton - and to escape the rat race for a few days and wow did we achieve that!! We found Henbere Farm by chance on a Google search and were so very lucky as what a beautiful wonderful place and family they are. When we stayed, we were one of two guests in the two bedroom cottage and we made happy friendships with the other guests at morning breakfast. Which by the way, is delicious and more than ample to set you up for the day. Couldn't ask for more and beats a Premier Inn by billions of miles. The gorgeous Devon farm is surrounded by endless fields and the most peaceful happy countryside, with plenty of sheep and cows chatting merrily away to themselves - what a dream mini break. Literally could not have asked for anything more. Bedrooms and accomodation was a home from home without the chores or to do list of life. So very comfortable, bed, light and airy rooms and very safe. Bedrooms are up one flight of stairs as everything else is on ground level. The other couple we stayed with were retired in their 60's and one had had a double knee replacement and didn't find any of the access an issue - they return annually!! Situated in a fab place for an escape and a drive of between 15 and 45 minutes to see either more countryside, local pubs, rivers, walks or the towns a bit further away with lots to do...or if you prefer nothing to do!!

What we didn't like, is that we had to leave! We will be back 😁 and we travelled all the way from Kent in South East England to get there.

The location of this place is simply amazing, with so beautiful landscapes and nature all around. We enjoyed it so much and loved the quietness, simplicity and kindness of Kim & Tim. The breakfast was so delicious and carefully prepared! We also enjoyed great talks with the other guests over breakfast. We'll surely stay here again when we go back to the area!

The very narrow road to the place can be challenging, especially if you're not used to driving on the left side of the road :-) in the end we enjoyed it a lot!

Fantastic stay. Really good location for exploring Devon. The property is lovely and the setting is stunning. We can't fault anything. Kim and Tim were wonderful hosts and we would definitely return when in the area again. Best B&B we have stayed in by far. And our Mini loved the lanes...😉

Absolutely nothing to dislike... however we thought a couple of Male Peacocks would look great in the garden. 😁.. and some Alpacas. 😁

Gorgeous rural location with views of the surrounding countryside. A wonderful welcome. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable. Kim was so welcoming and a natural host and had baked a delicious cake that day, so I was very lucky to be offered a slice! Visiting in March, the weather has been a bit dreary lately, but the property was so cosy and warm, and I could adjust the heating in my room to suit myself. After a restful nights sleep, the breakfast room had a lovely view into the garden where I could watch the birds feeding on the bird feeders while enjoying a scrumptious breakfast, cooked to order, along with criossants, toast, and a lovely freshly made yoghurt, fruit and honey pot. A true 10/10 stay. Thank you so much.

I had a good stay booked at the last minute. The location was perfect for me on the way to my job for the day in deepest Devon. The approach is typical thin farming lanes and nice and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle. Host was very welcoming and helpful. Plenty of parking space. The room was comfortable and spotless with a big bed, plenty of towels and a well stocked tea tray. The breakfast was fantastic.

The other guest snored very loudly but I always sleep with ear plugs so not a major issue for me personally.

Everything! We had an amazing stay, this has to be the best we have stayed in. Kim and Tim were so friendly and accommodating, they couldn't do enough for us. The room was immaculate, I don't know how Kim keeps it so clean and fresh with all the different people staying. The breakfast was amazing and freshly prepared each day, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely put this on our favourite list and make a return visit.

Absolutely nothing to dislike!

Great range of choices at breakfast; especially enjoyed the yoghurt with granola and fresh fruit. Kim gave us a warm welcome and was very well organised. Peaceful rural views and very quiet. Room was a very good size, with sofa as well as a very comfortable bed. Henbere Farm is approached along some narrow Devon lanes but they are very quiet - fortunately we didn't meet any other vehicles on the narrowest ones.

There was nothing we didn't like.
