Arley House is a short walk, about half a mile and all on the level, from the centre of Dundrum Village where there are a number of good places to eat - I would recommend the Mourne Seafood Restaurant. At Arley House itself, the breakfast was very good, with the owner ready to freshly prepare whatever breakfast people wanted. It was a very hot day when I visited so I only wanted cereal and toast and tea but the Ulster Frys which other guests enjoyed looked delicious. The bedroom itself was a very good size and spotlessly clean and there was also a lounge area with comfy seats. Highly recommended.

Great location very clean well presented lovely surroundings great breakfast and the host Irene was amazing couldn't do enough for us made to feel very welcome will definitely be recommending to friends and family and will definitely be back in the near future had a great time our dogs had a ball to thanks for having us

Arlene met us with the warmest of greetings and we felt at home right away .. A very clean and comfortable room .. perfect location for a bit of sightseeing, Breakfast was outstanding.. by far and away the best bnb we've stayed at .. I couldn't recommend Arley House B&B enough.. 10 out of 10 . Thank you Arlene.we WILL be back

Everything ,Arlene was very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble . Excellent breakfast especially the Ulster Fry . Everywhere was clean and comfortable .

In lovely picturesque Dundrum bay with golf courses restaurants and all amenities close by. A beautiful garden and it’s comfortable, clean, and quiet with a lovely garden. A wonderful breakfast included. The host was really friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this place to stay on your journey. William L

Nothing that we did not like !

Arlene is a wonderful host and was friendly, communicative and warm but not intrusive. The B&B is clearly signposted from the main road. Check in was easy and quick. Rooms were immaculately clean and bed and bedding were very comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty!

The sliding bathroom door doesn't offer much privacy! Otherwise the room was lovely.

From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with genuine warmth and desire to make the stay memorable. The bed was cosy and warm, pleasant when there was a storm outside. Top notch breakfast, warm, plentiful and very tasty. Host went out of her way to cater for vegan/vegetarian. Location puts you within a very short drive of a range of activities and top attractions in the Kingdom of Mourne, perfect especially if you wish to enjoy the great outdoors.

Everything suited us perfectly

The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful. Although this place did not serve breakfast, the rooms had basic self catering facilities so we were able to make our own breakfast plus we were also able to makeean evening meal. (Lidl is 5 mins walk away). It is right in the middle of Downpatrick so very convenient.

The only issue we had was finding the place!

You have to be careful coming out lane as belfast Rd can be very busy and traffic travels quite fast on that section.

We liked how we were greated,how clean and tidy and the room was, Lovey comphy bed,TV, shower was amazing,breakfast was delicious and was loads of choice for breakfast which I liked,Arlene was a lovey lady and even came to talk to us which was nice,coudnt fault this place at all and would definitely recommend this place and most definitely will be back.lovey big frount garden,outside seating area,kitchen that you could just go anytime make a cuppa,was also sofa that you could watch TV was huge brilliant and the views was breath taking, seeing the wee lambs jumping about the field,meet molly too such a beautiful dog,she was so friendly and came to say hello and lye in the middle of us,so relaxing and did feel as if you were at home as that's how you were welcomed 😀 see yous again and hope you liked your owl 🦉 😀
