Great hospitality. Staff were eager to make sure our stay was an enjoyable one.

Parking. Parking on the street is only from 6pm to 8am. You will get ticketed if your car is on the street in front of the hotel after 8am. I moved our car from the street In front of the hotel, to the Down Cathedral parking lot at 7:30am - and walked back down to the hotel (5 minute walk) for breakfast with my granddaughter. We did have to load our belongings into the car before i moved it. It is an uphill trek to the Cathedral. Not one you want to do with luggage. After breakfast, my granddaughter and I walked up to Down Cathedral, toured the interior and adjacent graveyard. Our car was in the Cathedral parking lot and conveniently parked for our departure.

The location was good the staff were very friendly to us and our kids the bar man gave them a 7up each and some crisps very nice people there

The rooms were really nice and clean the only thing the beds were to small for 2 adults I'm 5 ft 9 and my feet were over the bottom of the beds and I woke a few times after nearly falling out of the bed if they got bigger beds I would definitely go back the mattress and pillows were very comfy just wish the beds were bigger can't fault it other than that. Kids absolutely loved staying there. We enjoyed the music to great entertainment

This was our second time booking a room at Denvir's, and once again, they did not disappoint. In fact, they exceeded our expectations by far. We were given an entire apartment for the weekend, which was amazing. It even had a toaster, which came in handy for my son, who is autistic and has specific dietary preferences. Since the hotel didn't have Nutella, we were able to buy a jar, use the toaster to prepare the bread we brought from home, and ensure he had a breakfast he was comfortable with. The next morning, we were touched by the kindness of a staff member who had gone out of their way to buy Nutella for my son and provide it at breakfast. That thoughtful gesture meant so much to us! The apartment was spacious, giving us all privacy and a bed each. It also had a cozy sitting room and a big TV, which made watching the Toy Show even more enjoyable. Thank you for another fantastic stay—your attention to detail and kindness made it truly memorable!

Nothing. Ever was perfect!

I had lovely porridge as I was in a hurry for a 9am appointment, I would have loved to try the full breakfast! Maybe next time If I call in that way!

Breakfast was supposed to start at 8am but it was about 8.10am b4 waitress arrived & although there was a number of guests she didn't ask who's 1st! I had arrived 2nd with about 6 after me but she went straight to the last couple who had obviously been on a few days break & were last in! Which I found annoying! Even if she had asked is anyone in a rush would have been oķ! & I was due a 9am appointment, not impressed! But she was pleasant! & quick as possible under the circumstances, Well done anyway.

Room was clean, simply furnished and good size. It overlooked a busy junction during the day but was quiet at night on the Sunday we stayed. There was a good breakfast choice and we were able to relax and unwind during our stay.

The room was in the annex so a short walk mainly uphill to get to the main hotel. The parking was also not particularly close and a bit uphill again from the hotel. This was a minor issue when it wasn’t raining but not great when it was!

A good choice of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything was lovely and hot and staff were very friendly and attentive. Loved the biscuits with our tea tray in our room and really nice soap in the bathroom. All the bedding was lovely and clean. A great location for what we needed and lots to see in the area.

Found the bed was short for my husband who is 5 foot 9. Units in the room looked like they needed a good sand down and revarnish.

The room we stayed in was generously proportioned, clean and well appointed. The room was furnished with well worn period furniture which worked well with the overall theme of the establishment. I had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and the quality of the food and service could not be faulted. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

There are no parking facilities at this inn, however street parking can be found nearby (near the Down County Museum).

The location is great right near the bus station and the food was really good. The Room was very comfortable and clean and all the streaming services were available. The man who runs the place was very helpful and obviously works very hard to make sure he's guests are happy. Also it is a very nice building.

I stayed in room 1 which is on the second floor and near the bar so it might be too noisy for some so I would upgrade to a room on the next floor.I was up till 12 anyway as I didn't have an early start so it didn't bother me and it was very quiet late at night .

Everything! From the food to the room, comfort & the staff they were all fantastic I can't think of a better hotel than this & I've been to quite a few. Best wishes to all at the Denvir hotel x

The only downfall was that I'm slightly disabled, [It's up four flights of stairs & I find it hard to use stairs but I only booked the day before my stay. But I did manage it slowly. Thank you for accompanying me .

Tiny (Hobbit-size) but very cozy room, with comfortable bed, and very clean en-suite. Staff were very helpful. Very good dinner in the Inn, and very tasty breakfast (I opted for a Cooked Irish). I kinda missed a closet, but since my stay was only a short one, hangers on the entrance doors did (not sure if that is fire safety compliant).

Doors without a noise reduction and timber floors on the corridor make hear every by passer; locked with an old school turn key, with a thumbturn inside, which doesn't retract when a handle is pressed (non compliant with fire safety. Safe in the room would be handy.
