Excellent location in Ardglass, very close to the golf course and Aldo’s, a fine restaurant! The best thing though about Margaret’s Cottage is Ciara and her daughter, Kelsey. They took such good care of us from fabulous breakfasts, information about everything Irish, making dinner reservations for us, advice on what to do and see, the list is endless. We had a large cosy bedroom, a beautiful sitting room to visit in or read quietly and a parking space in front. What more could we want? I highly recommend Margaret’s Cottage and Ardglass for your next holiday adventure!

Everything! It’s a welcoming, beautifully decorated, cosy and extremely well appointed place to stay. The location in Ardglass was perfect for us to explore the area with plenty of options for eating out in Ardglass and a little further away in Strangford. Make sure you’re hungry for breakfast; there’s a very tempting menu with plenty of options and the portions are generous. I am telling all my friends they should stay here - it’s fabulous!

Location was superb overlooking the 1st hole of Ardglass golf course and sea view The host was friendly and gave great tourist advice on where to visit and where to eat and drink. The breakfasts were high quality with plenty of choice. There was a lovely lounge area with open fire. Very cosy.

Couldn't fault the location, host or accommodation. They even provided the weather which was amazing for our stay. It is a location that you really need a car to get about and explore . If you were looking for a quiet spot to relax and not travel by car it would also be excellent

Went to Ardglass for golf. Margaret's Cottage is right next to the course. Staff was wonderful, room was great, food excellent as well. Will stay there again if in the area.

A very comfortable guest house located right at the gate of Ardglass Golf Club in what is a lovely seaside town. Great hospitality from the proprietor Ciara.

We were warmly welcomed and facilitated in this beautiful historic home. Excellent breakfast overlooking the sea was a great start to the day.

Kira the proprietress was exceptionally welcoming and nice -- greeting me upon arrival, chatting a bit by the coal-fueled fireplace blazing, and providing a fine breakfast in a homey environment. Thank you!

Breakfast wonderful. Plenty of options and well prepared. Ciara accommodated our special requests.

Shower was a little small for me.
