Wonderful location. Amazing sunset ocean views. Quiet. Sitting area outside (it was midge season so we did not take advantage of this). Great views from inside the house as well. Lots of space. Dining table was large enough to accomodate our large family. Lots of seating in the living room. Host is on the property to address any issues. Short drive to the castle and cafe (cafe has lots of options).

There are some chores to complete at check out, so make sure to allocate enough time. There's no place to recycle glass. Check out instructions say to drop off glass at the castle car park, but the staff at the castle said we would have to go into town and to drop it off there (easy to find).

Beautifully renovated cottage! Great kitchen and bathrooms, cosy living room and nice big bedrooms. Heating worked well. Glorious views and incredibly peaceful, nice garden area. Would definitely stay here again if we ever visited Skye again.

Beds too soft, so did end up with a bit of a sore back. Had specified synthetic bedding only due to allergies, but discovered one feather duvet and several feather pillows! The bedrooms are very big and it's a shame they only put standard double beds in, rather than slightly bigger ones. Some of the bedroom wardrobe furniture a bit dated and creaky.

Lovely spacious, comfortable, and modern decor. Good sized rooms, lovely views, especially from the upstairs shower/bathroom looking down the sea loch. The double sinks area and separate loo and sink are handy when the upstairs bath/shower room is in use. Great views from most windows. Well stocked kitchen, and dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer, dryer, etc. Free entrance to Dunvegan Castle and gardens.

A bit difficult if disabled, due to the layout of the stairs. There is a very good downstairs bedroom, but it's a bit of a distance from the loo/shower room. The upstairs shower is fab, the downstairs shower room is big, but the shower cubicle would be great if it was open and wet roomed like upstairs. We managed fine, but it would have been impossible at the moment to bring my Dad, who is disabled. An ensuite in the big downstairs bedroom would sort the problem.

How remote the place is. Dunvegan is a remote area which we knew prior to booking. We had a car so travelling around was very easy for us. It was nice to be in the middle of nowhere :) Beautiful views out of all of the windows! Truly stunning. The house was extremely clean and was kitted out with everything we needed and more. It was really lovely and we would definitely return.

If I’m being extremely picky, the sofas in living area. They were comfortable for sitting on but it would’ve been nice to be able to stretch your legs out and lie down even. But I’m being very picky here!

The place is amazing. So peaceful! With a great view. We enjoyed eating in the garden, and going for walks by the shore or to the castle. The house is very cosy and comfortable. It is well equipped and we loved the decoration. We appreciated the welcoming wine and other items. We had a wonderful stay!!

Charming, comfortable little house with excellent equipment, appliances and fixture in a spectacular setting with beautiful views. It really was better than we had hoped for.

Slightly inconvenient to arrive to because of the single track road with some traffic but this was a minor inconvenience.

Beautiful location and fabulously comfortable House. Free access to the Castle was an additional bonus!

Honestly nothing much. V small feedback would be to offer the option to pre-buy some wood etc for the wood burner.

The cottage was a magnificent place to stay and made our trip to Skye. Lovely little touches and welcome package, very comfortable and cosy, great location and very quiet. Highly recommend.

The whole cottage was absolutely beautiful. I stayed here alone with my 3 children and they loved the garden and the bath tub especially. The views from the windows were magical and we all didn't want to leave. My children all cried in the car when we left.

The WiFi was poor but its to be expected so far out.

The site and the silence. Near à lot of things to do. Nice attentions on arrivant.

Missing shelves and hangers in bathrooms. Missing one mirror in one bathroom
