My stay was great - contributed to a memorable stay in Skye. Room was great, tastefully furnished (however, toilet was really really small especially basin to toilet space so tight). Breakfast was great and personalised welcome message was lovely. Staff friendly/ great service. In particular I remember Dawson, Rachel who served us during breakfast. I am sure rest of the team whom I have not had the opportunity to interact with are wonderful too :))
Nothing in particular… Friendly alert: For those who drive, look out for potholes for road leading to hotel as they are nasty for car tyres. Of course potholes are not within the control of hotel - just a friendly alert on my part.

Can I say absolutely EVERYTHING!? Truly, my stay here was magical. The attention to detail and the warm and welcoming staff put this inn above all others. The breakfast every morning was a tasty delight and the homemade shortbread in the room, well, let's say those disappeared quickly! If you are every planning on a stay on Skye, please make this your home away from home. You will not be disappointed!
Dinner service wasn't available all the time, but that was something I went into already knowing as I was there during the off-peak season. If it was anything like the breakfast, I know that it would have been wonderful!

Hotel was lovely, very bright and welcoming. Bedroom and en suite very comfortable and clean. It was our first trip to a hotel with our dogs but they were welcomed and staff were great. Lovely breakfast which we ate in the room as we chose not to take the dogs to the dining area.
Our room was a little on the small side as we brought our 2 collies with us, however we managed and loved our short stay. False fire alarm went off in the morning, we didn’t know where the designated fire point was but we went out front with the dogs and all returned quickly to our room.

The Staff at this hotel was excellent- friendly, and went out of their way to make sure our needs were met. Their friendliness and willingness to talk with us was so refreshing, and welcome. They made us feel at home, and suggested areas for us to visit, as well as offered to help us in any way. The food in the restaurant was very good, and the hotel cat was entertaining and delightful. We especially liked how all the staff worked well together, doing everything- they are a real team!
sink in bathroom was a little small, but it was for an accessible guest, so that makes sense.

Lovely hotel in a great location if you come by car, because there is plenty of parking but it is just a short walk to the centre of Portree. The room was comfortable, if a bit small, and we had one of the'chalet-style' rooms outside, which was handy as we could park right outside the door. The breakfast was great and served to you rather than buffet style. We had a lovely dinner there on our first night and would have eaten there again but the kitchen was closed the next day sadly.
There was some noise early in the morning from the tour buses outside. Also the emergency exit light in the room was a bright green light that was difficult to sleep with. The second night we hung a coat over it and that solved the problem!

The staff at the hotel were very attentive and always a pleasure to interact with. The breakfast was good but not spectacular but was very accommodating for my wife's gluten allergy. It was a short walk from the hotel to Portree which was great for exploring or grabbing a bite to eat.
Seems overpriced for what you get. The room was quite small and could use some updating with the decor. The walls were a bit thin and the first night we could hear the guest staying next to us coughing all night causing us to wake up multiple times the first night. Luckily that guest checked out the following day.

Nice location, away from town but close enough to walk in easily. Breakfast was really nice and the staff was exceptional. Matt couldn’t do enough for us and his partner (forgot her name) was very accommodating during the two breakfast we had there. We had some laundry and the staff took care of it very nicely.
The price was the highest we paid for entire trip at Scotland. I guess skye is just a very pricey area? We didn’t know we had to tell them to refresh the room so it was not refresh during the day but one of the staff, Matt took care of us when we returned in the evening.

Friendly and accommodating staff, excellent Scottish breakfast, comfortable rooms, good location - 10 min walk from town centre/5 min drive. Lots of little personal touches in the rooms, including a small gift of scottish soap and personalised welcome messages at breakfast.
The soundproofing in the rooms is not great. We could clearly hear the guests in adjoining rooms. However, we simply played white noise on the ipad, and it worked a treat. Alternatively, consider earplugs.

Welcoming and lovely staff and Atrium bar/restaurant nice. Decent breakfast and good parking. Comfortable bed. In the centre of Portree but secluded. Good value
The walls are quite thin so I was able to hear neighbour’s phone call. Breakfast was good but I’d make some cold stuff buffet style and only serve hot options by waiting staff. Coffee very weak for my taste - saw the cafetière and though hurrah but really weak coffee not for me in the morning.

Location, facilities, services all great. Excellent value for money Comfy clean rooms, dog friendly with direct access to the outside for our dogs. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is a 5 minute walk away from the centre but situated down a country lane making it very quiet and private. Perfect balance for location.
We didn't eat evening meals at the hotel so I can't comment on them really, all I will say is the menu was a bit fancy for our tastes, if you have children or fussy eaters then then the evening meal menu might not be suitable. I'm sure it was delicious though as breakfast were amazing. Only 1 negative about the room was the only mirror is in the bathroom so a bit awkward for using the hairdryer, straighteners etc.
