Very quiet, lovely and warm and yet still able to control our own room temperature with heater and openable windows, home cooked breakfasts with good range of choices, sitting room with comfortable chairs and books and puzzles, lovely woodland walk by the stream to get into the village (as well as road option), Scorrybreac walking circuit was amazing.

No blind for the window and we didn’t know how to close the curtains without getting in the way of the heater!

“It seems my original post via Booking.com failed, as I suspected, due to my fat fingers driving my iPhone. A prompter from Booking.com today confirms my thoughts”. “Needless to say, our earlier report was glowing but because of our particular situation we were unable to describe, for Booking.com readers, the outstanding service provided by Susan and her father”. “All I can say now to anyone considering a stay in Portree or Skye is to go no further than Creagory Skye for an outstanding facility, operated by outstanding people who clearly understand service and compassion for strangers in strife”. Strongly recommended.

Good location with 8-10 mins walk to town centre Delicious Scotish full breakfast with juice, toasts and cereal Warm welcome by Susan who is friendly and kind Room was warm, clean and comfortable An on-site parking with large parking spaces A Catholic RC church is close to the hostel, worth saying a pray and giving thanks to God

A larger sink in toilet could be better

Susan was the perfect host and nothing was too much effort. Susan's local knowledge and advice was much appreciated. The room was perfect, with one of the most comfortable beds we've slept in. Breakfast was amazing and set us up for the day. Recommend the porridge! Location is very convenient, being 5 mins walk from Portree centre.

Couldn't fault our stay.

Location, cleanliness, hosts, facilities. We had a lovely warm reception from our hosts Susan and Donald, who were friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable about Skye. The breakfast was super and really set us up for the day and our room was comfortable, nicely decorated and very clean, bonus was the huge en suite with walk in shower. Would definitely stay there again, it was perfect 🙂

- Breakfast was very good. The granola was my favorite. Also loved the avocado toast option which was a nice change from the usual Scottisch breakfast. - The soft mattrass was very comfortable to sleep on. - large bathroom - the tiny fridge in the room was very useful and didn't make any noise like those larger fridges usually do. - loved the daily mellow cake attention in the room - within 10 min walking distance to the town centre (although along a busy road) - owner very friendly, but not intruisive - we were able to check in earlier than the official check-in time

Everything was pretty great, so below stuff is just nitpicking really.. - Our room was facing the busy street, so we could hear some noise in the evening/morning (we had to leave our window open during the night as it was unusually hot in Portree). The other rooms were at the back of the house, so I think I would've preferred to stay in one of those. But we still had a good night's sleep, so it didn't really bother us. - a closet or extra storage in the room or bathroom to put our clothes in would've been useful.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The host was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and incredibly clean. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have stayed in (we have been doing a tour of Scotland and staying in various places) and the breakfast was spot on. I honestly cannot fault this gorgeous b&b. It's one of the best places I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in the Ritz in Paris! I would happily go back again and again! We were incredibly lucky that our honeymoon fell with the warmest weather the country has seen for a while so the views on the Isle of skye were phenomenal! We visited the fairy pools and Dunvegan Castle whilst on the island. Would recommend booking restaurants if wanting to eat out in portree, however the breakfast in the morning should keep you going pretty much all day.

The hostess was extremely accommodating heating food for us we got at the grocery due to all the restaraunts being closed or not accepting walk-ins. MAJOR downside to Portree. The location was good.

The grout between the bathroom floor tiles needed cleaned. A luggage stand would have been helpful.

Such a beautiful B&B. fabulous host. We had a clean bright & airy room. Comfortable bed.A lovely bathroom with a big shower. Shampoo provided. Tea & Coffee facilities with proper milk provided. There was a fridge in the room. Marshmellow tea cakes were provided on both days. We were given a big slice of banana bread on arrival too. Breakfast was delicious. Maybe a little more bacon would have been nice. There was just one slice provided on the second day. But it was hot & tasty. Fabulous attentive service. Property in easy walking of Portree. Book ahead with a restaurant if you want to eat though. There’s a list of recommendations in the room.

Nothing to dislike

Lovely friendly welcome awaited us at the Creagory in Portree. The room was lovely at the back of the house, very quiet and spotless. Great selection for breakfast and tasty!! Selection offered would put some large hotels to shame. Slept like a log both nights we stayed bed very comfy but must have been that fresh Highland air. We were at an music festival in the centre of Portree and the Creagory was ideally placed as only ten minute walk from the front. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Only negative was the water pressure in the shower was poor.
