The one minus was that you have to decide what time you will come at breakfast. I don't know why, because when I said at 8.00 - there was no possible, when 8.30 - it was ok. When we came at the restaurant there was only 2 (from at c.a. 10-11 in total) occupied. It lasted 30 min waiting for food. The Man who was serving he didn't take full order, jest partial - asking about tea or coffee, then juice, then breakfast. Long, long and waste of time him and ours, not organised.

- Real dark room enabling us to sleep straight until 8.00am while it was daylight outside - bed were very confortable - our room view was stunning - location was great

- the noise of someone knocking on the door (3 shots) on early morning is in fact the guy preparing coffee onthe ground (we were at 1st floor) - our neighbour on upper floor walk also a lot, the floor creaks a lot: think about your ear plugs

The hotel is in the heart of Portree. Staff it’s been amazing and also the room, clean and comfy. We had everything we need, if you are around Isle of Skye I would really recommend this place!

The location is unbeatable and breakfast was lovely

No parking was a pain, but we used the public lot in town a few blocks away

Perfect hotel - outdone all 4 and 5 stars hotels I've stayed in in my life. Amazing staff that couldn't be more helpful and accommodating, perfect location right in Portree centre overlooking the iconic view, absolutely all comfort amenities such as bath robes, slippers, toiletries, water bottles in the room. Perfect cleanliness and everything is high quality. You can tell that people owning and working at the hotel really put heart and soul into everything they do as every little detail was though of. Our room was spacious and warmed up for when we arrived late. When my friend forgot earphones in the hotel, staff kindly mailed them back. Delicious food in the hotel restaurant too and it's very conveniently open later than all other places in town. Huge thank you to everyone at Bosville for your amazing work!

Food was sublime. Service amazing. Room cozy, bathroom fabulous, so many small touches that we appreciated!

Wish the bar downstairs was equipped to watch sport and a little more inviting, we were looking forward to hanging out there but had to seek out another pub to enjoy sport and dinner. The dining area was also wonderful and features everything you need, except the warm ambiance we'd have appreciated to go with the delicious food and excellent service. We'd have preferred to stay in but were forced to go out and find other options.

This is a very nice property. Not super elegant, but quite upscale and refined, for sure. The desk staff were quite nice; my waitperson in the morning was exceptionally good. The breakfast options are numerous, the variety is awesome, and the food is plentiful! They provide guests with very nice local soaps and hair products in the room. Overnight parking can be a challenge, but they provide helpful directions on where to find it.

The hotel is pricey, probably because it is high season and I waited too long to book it. I was to have had one of my kids traveling with me, but that fell through. If we had eaten four terrrific breakfasts there, instead of two, I'd feel better about the value. But even then it's a lot for most travellers to pay.

Location is great. Staff were great too.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a room with a view 😒 but was still very clean and tidy and very comfortable Only downside to our trip was the fact the cleaning staff started at 7.30am and were Very loud A lot of doors being banged and very loud talking but we do understand they have a job to do but could have been quietly done

You cannot beat the location - right on the harbor with an elevated view. Everything is first class, from the comfort of the rooms, to the bar with excellent selection of whiskies, the restaurant food was amazing. But most importantly, the staff. They accommodated my requests for in-room dining since the restaurant was fully booked and most restaurants in Portree were closed on Sunday. I highly recommend this hotel
