Beautiful accommodations! Very quiet and peaceful. Five minute cab ride or a nice 45 minute walk to town. We loved everything! We stayed in Scotland for 10 nights and this was, by far, our favorite place. Breakfast was awesome and we had enough leftover to pack for our lunch after hiking. Our hosts left us fresh baked sweet treats daily, which were delicious! The place was also spotless and the bed very comfortable. The hosts were great about giving recommendations and driving directions. When we go back to Scotland, this place is at the top of my list😊

Not a thing.

The views were incredible! The rooms were spacious and extremely clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were the nicest of our whole trip! The bed was so soft and comfortable. The property was easy to find and lovely to relax outside in. The hosts, Sally and Robin were so accommodating and welcoming. They made us a lovely breakfast, provided sandwiches for lunch and were great to talk with.

Sally and Robin were excellent! They were very friendly, lovely, and hospitable. The place was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed the breakfasts prepared. They were generous with the servings. Sally also made efforts to have little cakes for our afternoon teas. The property was close to the town. We will definitely look to stay there again if we visit Portree in the future.

There was nothing that the 4 of us (2 couples) didn't like about our stay at the Dalriada.

Fantastic breakfast, delicious and beautifully served. It is full of different choices and home made things. Large portions with an option to take the leftovers on your trip. You also get homemade bakes as a little treat, which is just a lovely touch. The room was nice and spacious, VERY clean (cannot stress this enough), comfortable and cosy. Would definitely highly recommend staying there.

What a delight it was to stay at Dalriada. Even before we arrived, Sally and Robin were in touch with us to ensure that we had booked evening meals, because Skye is a busy destination. Our room was equipped with everything we might need -tea/coffee, biscuits, ensuite bathroom, comfortable pillows and bed, a spacious room and it was quiet. Sally was very thoughtful in considering the individual needs of guests. She knew we preferred fresh milk and even provided us with replenished supply without us asking. Each day we were provided with home baked treats to accompany our afternoon tea. The room was immaculately clean. Dalriada has a beautiful breakfast room, with a pretty view, decorated with many little local touches, making it very inviting to browse. we’ve been travelling across Scotland for several weeks and the breakfast at Dalriada is exceptional: a wonderful fruit salad and extensive healthy options to follow. we cannot recommend Dalriada highly enough. We’ll be telling friends and family planning to come to Skye. we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Book early!

Very well appointed, well maintained clean room. Breakfast was excellent and served in a bright light room with a view of the mountains in the distance. The location was ideal, just a mile or so North of Portree which had many restaurants. Top tip from the owners before we arrived was book a table in advance as they go quickly. We received a very friendly welcome and were given advice on what to see on Skye. I would highly recommend this accommodation. A word of advice for people who have not been to Skye before there are many single track roads with passing places so getting around can take longer than expected. But who cares you’re on holiday and it’s all part of the experience.

Having to go home!

Sally and robin were an absolute delight to stay with - the loft looked even better than the photos / reviews. It was very spacious, newly renovated, the bathroom had such a hot shower with such strong water pressure, it felt amazing, and the bed was so comfy. Above all, Sally and robin kept the place so spotless and surprised us with banana bread and cakes every day. Breakfast was delicious with homemade yogurt We enjoyed it more than any of the hotels we stayed in Scotland - they were so lovely, thoughtful and responsive to every message, there was such a personal touch to the whole experience The location was also great, about five mins drive to portree and close to all the major sights. We drove 15 mins to old man of the storr Very quiet at night

Nothing at all, perhaps a small suggestion would be to have two towel hooks next to the shower (instead of one) and more options for eggs at breakfast eg scrambled or poached (:

Honestly one of the best B&Bs we’ve stayed at - and we travel a lot. Out of the town so you have a proper rest at night, but close enough to walk for a dinner. Clean and bright, warm and cozy room, good shower and comfortable bed. A breakfast which was enough to keep us going till the dinner time - and the views out of the window while you’re having your breakfast are stunning! And the piece of cake once we’re back from our day trips was so sweet to find 🙂 Isle of Skye is a magical place, and lovely owners of Dalriada Guest House made our visit just perfect. Breakfast was great. We were to select our choice of food for breakfast the night before and in the morning between 8-9:00 Sally and Robin served us what we had ordered.The yogurt was home made and delicious, our eggs, avocado, tomatoes were all fresh and tasty.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dalriada. We felt very welcomed by Sally and Robin, the rooms were lovely, clean and fresh. Beautiful views and ideal location. We were spoilt with a lovely array of food for breakfast. Upon arrival, Sally had some yummy banana bread for us and as it was my birthday while staying, she also provided some birthday cupcakes which were delicious! We are travelling around the UK, staying at many places, Sally and Robin have certainly set the bar high and Dalriada is indeed our favourite stay. Thank you."
