I would like to extend my gratitude to yourself and staff for the impressive service levels I have witnessed over the last few days. Ellington Lodge at The Concorde is situated in an excellent location ideally suited for my needs. I have observed the Staff to display high-quality service levels on all occasions. The staff at reception are most welcoming and helpful. I received a warm and friendly welcome by helpful and informative staff even day. The restaurant staff are friendly, engaging and attentive The Cleaning staff are efficient and courteous. The rooms were warm and clean with everything I required for my stay.   Overall I found my stay an excellent experience and great value for money  Special thank you to Sue Hotel Manger and Emma at Reception.

Ideal location for us near family we visited earlier that day and handy for the motorway for our journey home the following day. The property had parking within the grounds and the room was clean and the newly refurbished en suite area with its full length shower was excellent. The room had all the facilities you would want on an overnight stay or even for a few days , there was an on site restaurant for an evening meal which also doubled up as the breakfast area. The breakfast choice was excellent with table service for the main cooked breakfast choice. The bed was very comfortable.

We detected a slight ' musty smell ' in the room on initial entry as if it had not been aired at all but disappeared somewhat later on after we had opened a window so not thought worthy of mentioning. You have to remember to keep inputting your registered number of any vehicle you arrived in each time you return to the property after leaving for any reason during your stay or there was a possibility you could face a fine or PCN being issued by Europarks who control the system there so beware or inform staff if you happen to forget to do that.

The hotel ticked all the boxes for our stay. Dog friendly, in a great location for the purpose of our stay, excellent, friendly staff. They gave us a goodie bag for our dog on arrival which was a nice touch. The hotel surroundings are lovely. A really nice garden, and also backing on to a nature reserve, offering great walks without having to get in the car. Breakfast was generous and well cooked. Again, excellent staff. We could take the dog in with us for breakfast which was a real bonus. We had a downstairs room making access to the garden quick and easy. Comfortable bed.

If there's any negative at all, it's that the rooms are a little tired and dated. There wasn't a fridge, although we didn't ask if anything like that was available. Air conditioning was completely out of commission. Nothing though that stopped us having a very enjoyable stay.

This place is a proper gem. As a business traveler who regularly visits strategically placed airport hotels THIS should be your only port of call in Southampton. If you value the beige nothingness of a chain hotel do not bother. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The park one walks through from the hotel to the airport and back is delightful. (There's a little train in the park!! And a café! Buy a coffee and feel good about supporting another sweet local business. ) Breakfast in the Mouldy fig? Make it if you have time. I love a poached egg and haddock which I thought no one did anymore, but here it is. What a delight and will pop back when next in the area.

Rooms are clean and comfy but decor is dated. The whole place could be described as a bit tired, but like myself, tired is a sign of wisdom, character and charm that proves sometimes the old adage serves true. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Everything was clean and worked. The staff were polite and friendly and knew their business. Excellent, freshly cooked breakfast included. It was really excellent value for money.

We felt a bit rushed in the dining room, possibly because they had a wedding shortly afterwards. Breakfast was billed to run until 1100 though by 1045 they were clearing the table of cereals etc, though in fairness, they did ask if we had had all we wanted. Also, they appeared to hold a short staff meeting, lasting perhaps 5 minutes at the till which was within 2 metres of where we were sitting.

Excellent location as I needed to get to Southampton Airport early in the morning. Pleasant room, well-equipped with TV, wifi, kettle, and a comfortable bed. Adjacent bar/restaurant (offering live music when I was there) had good food and a wide range of drinks at very reasonable prices with seating both inside and outside - no need to go any further to eat. The hotel also appears to offer a package for airport users with the possibility of leaving your car in the hotel parking (if I understood it correctly) which I might be interested in doing next time.

Nothing much, although I could have done with more sockets in the room and in more convenient places - like next to the bed.

Very quiet location despite being close to the motorway. Ample parking space, very friendly staff, and good sized rooms. Cooked breakfast was great, and I was lucky enough to stay while one of the jazz concerts was programmed in the Concorde Club. Overall lovely stay.

The rooms are a bit dated and don't have many power outlets. A bit better soundproofness would be great too, as it was easy to hear people coming in and out their rooms. Other than that, really nothing to complain about.

I had a lovely stay at the Ellington Lodge. The property was exceptionally clean and well cared for, with a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. It’s in a great location too—just a pleasant walk from Southampton Airport Parkway, which made arriving and departing easy. Would definitely stay again.

There weren’t any shops nearby—it’s about a 20-minute walk, which was fine in sunny weather but might be less pleasant if it’s raining. Also, the breakfast was a bit pricey at £14.95.

We love the relaxed feel about venue, and the music. Enjoy the attached Mouldy Fig restaurant and Molly's, the little gift shop. Really handy location for a lovely stop on our route to the south coast.

Because we had the dog this time we felt that we would have missed out on the whole music experience if there had been live entertainment this time in the restaurant. As it happened there wasn't so we enjoyed the music selection. And in the room the bed mattress was very soft

We picked this hotel as it was close to an event we were attending. We had a garden room with a terrace which was lovely in the heat and very comfortable. Breakfast was good as was the evening meal. Everyone was friendly and there was plenty of parking.

Minor things. We were advised to re register our car reg on the tablet everytime we re entered the car park. The corridor outside our room had a mouldy smell. Room service was not available due to a function.
