Lovely room, comfy and warm. Great bed. View from small terrace over the river. Staff kind and helpful. Great food in the restaurant. Hannah was cooking and her steak was excellent!

We arrived at 3.45 but there was no one at the property. It said book in from 3pm and we were unable to get access until 5pm. Had travelled a long way and it was cold and dark. Unable to get through on the phone to anyone. The lighting outside in the car park, leading to the rooms was inadequate… it was PIR lighting and it doesn’t come on soon enough. Was very dark, tricky when you’re a bit older…No breakfast served at the property…

The room was lovely and more than we expected. It was very nice to find two very large dressing gowns and 2 small bottles of wine in the fridge for us both to enjoy. The bed was comfortable and it was a lovely view looking out across the river. The balconies could do with a bit of redecoration but this didn’t affect our stay. We ate in the pub and the homemade pie was one of the best pies that I have had out, could not fault the food or the young lady that served us. Very glad we stayed here as a stop over on our way to Norfolk.

The shower could do with a bit of new mastic to freshen it up but otherwise for the value, nothing.

The size of the room and of the shower. We really enjoyed the shower (can fit 2 people). The mattress was comfortable only bad thing about it was it was two mattresses attached to each other so you could feel it in the middle. The view of the river was really nice. Even if it’s close to a railway we couldn’t hear the trains. Bathrobes are really nice. Parking on site.

The kettle needs to be changed, I wanted to make a coffee but I couldn’t because of the limescale. Also the water in the sink of the bathroom had a really strong smell of hard water, needs to be filtered.

Location of the property was great. Situated on the banks of the Great Ouse River. Lovely crisp bedding and fluffy white towels and dressing gowns. Complimentary white wine and water in the fridge and of course coffee teas etc… Tanisha the receptionist/ bar person/ waitress was very helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was very good.

The room was clean but the carpet and bathroom flooring are looking very tired.

The view from the room was beautiful and the size of the room exceeded expectations

There were people from the pub walking around in front of our little balcony so had no privacy as there were no net curtains. Also people chatting and banging doors til very late at night, and someone in a boat moored in front of our room playing loud music at 0230 in the morning, had to close the window. No fault of the hotel though. This didn’t mar our stay and plan to book again when around the area.

Staff very friendly and helpful,accomodation and food excellent.

When we arrived hotel was closed,we hoped to sit and have a drink b4 checking in.Rang the hotel number and was transfered to a mobile the lady who answered said they didnt open till 3 sorry.So we went away for a coffee and came back at 3 place, was still closed and the phone was now unavailable.My daughter managed to contact someone on face book well eventualy some one arrived to unlock and check us in she said she wasnt due to arrive till 4and the booking said check in was 3.By this time 3.45 i was soaked through and cold and quiet annoyed.The web site needs to be more specific as when reception/bar is open and that at pressent they are not doing breakfast.

Location, comfy bed, nice staff, great steak. As boaters, we have stayed here many times. There is nowhere else in the locale to rival the view of the river from your room. Just gorgeous on a sunny morning.

Rooms a little on the expensive side and no real obvious advantage between the standard and deluxe room for the price differential. Outdoor space tired and moorings in urgent need of repair (though appreciate that is a huge cost)

We arrived after a long journey to a very friendly welcome. The accommodation was great, all new looking and very clean. We had a balcony looking over the river. We had a great meal in the pub. We went for a walk around Littleport which is full of interesting history. We will return and stay a bit longer, there's plenty to do and visit from this location.

Nothing really, lots of tickling buggies at night outside being next to the river. I'll bring some Citronella candles next time.

Room good size, great having sofa too. Enjoyed looking out at the river, & table & chairs would def be used in the summer. Concerned about pos traffic noise nearby, but slept well, and not a problem at all. Coffee machine with capsules was appreciated. Had a roast lunch in the Brasserie on Sunday, and was good and very filling. Would stay again.

Would like to see the car park area improved visually, by smartening up a little, maybe with some planters, and resurfacing, larger hotel signage at side, etc.

Lovely location and easy to get to. Easy parking. Staff were really friendly and food was good. Not long to wait for orders. Great view from a little balcony. Got room 101 which was right by the entrance to the building, but didn't hear much noise other than when guests returned back to their rooms and when they left in the morning. Bed was very comfortable.

No breakfast. I didn't realise that there was no breakfast served at this hotel. Would have booked elsewhere, if I'm honest. It's kind of an expectation to have something available for breakfast in my opinion. It is likely that this was missed when the room was booked, so may not be the hotels fault that I was not aware.
