I had a truly lovely stay at Chandos Guest House in Folkestone. It’s a family-run place, and Richard the host was incredibly kind and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel at home, which really set the tone for a relaxing stay. The room was cozy, and had everything I needed. The location is great too just a short walk from the train station and close to the town centre, yet nice and quiet in the evenings. You can tell Richard takes pride in what he does, and it reflects in the thoughtful touches and warm atmosphere. I’m really grateful for the care and hospitality. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Folkestone. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly, and affordable place to stay!

Charming little Hotel with a good location, close to the Central train station and also not too far away from other activities. The owner of the hotel is a kind and nice person who takes his time to answer your questions and to give you good advice about anything you need to know about your trip. The rooms are simple but clean and the price is very good! I will definitely come again.

Extremely friendly welcome. The man who greeted us was lovely , we were allowed to park our motorbike right up near the front door for safety, the room was cosy and very close to euro tunnel.

After such a long journey a cup of tea would have been lovely . There was a kettle and tea bags in the room but no milk or sugar. The owner immediately offered to go to the shop to get us some but it was late at night and of course we didnt want to put him out.

A very charming place with the most pleasant owner who will bend over backwards to accommodate you. I will certainly stay again when I visit Folkestone.

It’s obviously not the Ritz, but for the price you pay you really can’t complain. Clean and comfortable, again with a very pleasant and accommodating owner

IT WAS 5 MINUTES FROM THE STATION & ABOUT 10 MINUTES FROM FOLKESTONE TOWN CENTRE. I LIKED THE IDEA OF A FRIDGE & A MICROWAVE IN THE ROOM-WHO WOULDN'T LIKE A COLD DRINK?

Pleasant welcome. Got a room upgrade for a bigger room. It was quite big and had its own bathroom. Could park my bike on the property. Beds were comfortable and I had a quiet night. The location is nice with the beach only a few minutes away.

Only downside was that although it has WiFi, the connection wasn't very good.

The owner is trying his best to run the place on his own. He's not a young man anymore. Good for him

The shower curtain could be replaced with a new one. The shower inside can do with a good clean

Great location to stay over for a channel crossing. Considering the exceptionally reasonable rates, we consider it great value. Don't expect the Hilton, but it's basic and clean. The host was friendly and accommodating. Thank you.

Some aspects of the house are a tad tired, but that didn't especially bother us esp given excellent value

Richard the owner greeted me. 2 mins drive from the location i was working parking was free . Fridge freezer microwave owen doubele bed tv smoking area keetle an ensuite.

Perfect for our Emergency situation. The owner was incredibly helpful & friendly. The room was perfect for what we needed for our small family, shower was hot & the beds were comfortable. Easy walking distance to town for yummy fish & chips at Sandy's.
